Great food nice service I love the place it has a great vibe it is always packed so get ready to wait for some great food.

They have a variety of Asian food on the menu.
Appetizer:I had the rolls. Fancy and delicious. I forgot their exact name.
Sushi: I usually don’t get sushi in restaurants that are not rated top on sushi but decided to try the sushi here. I made a good decision.
Also ordered a Thai dish to share with my bf and it was delicious too.
I really liked this place. The service was great. The place is very welcoming. Good for dates.

Overpriced sushi and the rice was overcooked and mushy. For dessert we had the green tea ice cream cake our server said it was the most popular dessert and it was nasty. Don’t bother with this place and their $ 1 sushi is only for sashimi. 70 bux wasted on subpar sushi.

Appetizer:
Chicken satay, fried eggrolls. Chicken satay was good but I did have a bite that tasted undercooked which is dangerous with chicken. It was served with peanut sauce and a cucumber dip. I enjoyed the cucumber more than the peanut sauce because I like cucumbers but the peanut sauce was very good. I’ve definitely had better egg rolls and the sauce served with that wasn’t anything special. I would skip appetizers the next time I go. I wasn’t impressed. 3 stars
Alcoholic Beverage:
Ginger beer, vodka, ginger shavings. It was tasty with prominent ginger flavor but vodka was barely there. It was not on happy hour which I thought wasn’t fair. It was $ 10. 2.5 stars
Main course:
Tofu low mein. This was very good! The noodles and tofu had a ton of flavor and I felt the serving size was proper. A little on the oily side. 4 stars
Dessert:
Mandarin orange cake. The cake it self was good but the cake to icing ratio was way off. The icing was more like whipped cream. What was very good was the mandarin orange sauce at the bottom of the plate. They could have just served me that with some cold yogurt and maybe some peanuts on top. Mint, if you’re reading feel free to take that idea. #yourewelcome 3.5 stars

Excellent. Waitress was super nice and very attentive. 4 stars
Overall great experience. I would go back with a group of friends or a date!

Asian Mint is an Asian Fusion restaurant that specializes in many areas including Thai cuisine. DFW has plenty of great options for Thai food & Asian Mint should be on everyone’s list to visit.
My Overall Rating — 4 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return)
Atmosphere — Don’t let the strip mall location fool you. Asian mint is a bright, vibrant restaurant. The walls are bold green with white panels separating seating areas. It feels clean and fresh. Plenty of tables with modern seating. It’s a great setup. 1 Star.
Service — Our server was friendly and efficient. He gave us ample time to look at the menu. No real recommendations though. One important note is that I don’t think Asian Mint is meant to be eaten family style. I think the entrees are meant to be eaten by one person. The reason I mention this is because the tables didn’t have enough room for all our dishes and we only received very small share plates. The dishes weren’t clear in a timely manner so it piled up quickly. ½ Star.
Food — I was pleasantly surprised with the food at Asian Mint. Just about every dish was very good, staring with their Crispy Pad Thai. It’s essential Pad Thai but instead of noodles they use friend wontons. It had all the flavoring of traditional Pad Thai but crispier. Yes, everything is better fried, including Pad Thai. Texas, Ya’ll. Our Crispy Basil Fish was made with sea bass and it was great. You get a generous, delicate portion of sea bass in a fresh basil sauce. Pad Woon Sen was good but forgettable compared to the other two. Finally, we ended our meal with the Green Tea Ice Cream Cake. It’s a huge slice with a nice whipped icing that’s not too sweet. The cake itself wasn’t as moist as I would have hoped, but it certainly went well with ice cream. Solid meal from start to finish. 1 ½ Star.
Will I Return? — Yes. While the Green Tea Ice Cream cake was nice, I would come back for the Basil Fish (sea bass) and ask for a bigger table. My first experience was great so no doubt I’ll be back. 1 Star.

1 Star — Atmosphere — Is it a cool dive? Perhaps an upscale place? No matter the type, atmosphere plays a big part and I’ll give a star if I like it or thinks it has great charm.
1 Star — Service — You can have a great meal with bad service. But that’s also what can make a five-​star joint drop to four. It’s important to the dining experience that service is great and on point.
2 Stars — Food — I’ll award up to two stars for the food, since this is the main reason we dine out. Sometimes the extra star is given for value, but it’s really all about the food.
1 Star — Will I come back? — If I know for a fact I’ll return, I’ll give this a star. A place has to make an impression for me to return.

The most delicious food I have tried in DFW in Asian places. Impeccable service from hostess to waiter. Do yourself a favor and give a try. You will not be disappointed. However if you mind waiting few min– do call for reservation. Place seem to be very busy and hostess advised me to definitely make reservation for evening dining.
We stopped by for quick lunch but ended up staying for a while, because we enjoyed our self and food so much. Priced right $$ and great atmosphere.
I will definitely be back even though its a long drive for me. This just became my nr 1 Asian dining.

Four stars for the food

The food was extremely tasty. I will go back and try everything as long as I’m able to put up with the lack of service.
First walked in and waited for the host to appear. Well maybe she was seating someone I thought. As we wait some staff passed without any acknowledgement and that’s when I began to get the impatient. My date must of felt this because as she gently squeezed my hand she waved down the bar tender. He came over, made a comment under his breath and seated us. I fully expected to be asked what I’d like to drink but instead he just walked off. Sitting trying to entertain my date two staff members passed by saying that they are yours. So at this point I realized that we weren’t as important as I would of liked. This place is very lucky that they have great food because that will be the only reason to go back.
Hmmm…maybe take out next time

Shitty ass service. I’v eaten there a few years ago and service is still the same, HORRIBLE. I placed a big order and the Thailand little girls need to practice better service and SMILE!!! As much businesses as they do, I would imagine they would train their employees to have better customer service. I usually also tip to to go orders, but this time it was NADA.
I will to have check out another Thai place a few blocks down at the new Preston Hollow center.

Food: The Pad Thai was one of the yummiest dishes and so was fried rice (great flavor)
If I’m in this area of Dallas I call ahead and place my order.
Atmosphere:
Place is very small kinda difficult to dine in but not impossible. (get there early)
Service:
I’ve only pre-​ordered and picked up so service was fine in that respect.

Ordered take out on my way home from work and was glad I did. Came on a Tuesday night and it was pretty packed at 7p.
Ordered the orange chicken — So crispy on the outside and moist on the inside with the orange glaze. Super yummy! The broccoli and jasmine rice were both nice compliments.
Also ordered the basil fried rice with chicken… very good flavors and huge chunks of chicken! Nice twist to the original fried rice.
Grabbed an appetizer of fried veggie egg rolls and they had a nice crisp to them and the veggies inside were really fresh!
Definitely will be back to dine, but will probably need to make reservations to ensure a table! Can’t wait

I have not been in forever. What a treat. Mai. Our waitress was so sweet and more than capable. We had ahi crisps. Terrific. The chicken fried rice was devoured by the kids. Adults split the pad kee mow. Amazing.
Nikki, the owner, visited us and she was delightful. A shout out to Jib (sp?) the manager. We’ve known her since Noodle Wave!
All in all a five star experience!

I’ve always loved their chicken pad thai woon sen (pictured top right) and tonight was no exception, it was as delicious as ever. The tuna roll (bottom right) had good flavor but lacked size and presentation. The California roll (top left) was nothing to write home about. I did love my entrée as well as the kids bento box (bottom left) which my 4 yr old devoured. Not pictured is the yummy edemame and the yummy albeit weak Thai Mai tai (not worth $ 10). Our total bill for 2 chicken pad thai woon sen, kids bento with edemame side, tuna roll, california roll, 3 waters, 2 cocktails, and 1 green tea ice cream, before tip was $ 75.98
Good food, good service, busy for a tuesday night!

Beef pad kee mow. Awesome. Seaweed salad appetizer. Beautiful. Fusion is right.
Great alternative rock music played subtly in the background. Good crowd. Popular place. Nice atmosphere. Colorful, modern décor.

I had lunch at Asian Mint today and it was my first time in since their recent remodel! I was very impressed at the fresh update to this delicious Asian Fusion style restaurant.
For starters, the size of the restaurant has doubled. What used to be a crowded popular lunch spot, is now much more spacious with no wait. The bar and table space has doubled and everything is fresh and clean on the inside!
I ordered the Pad Kee Mow (I probably spelled that incorrectly) and it was definitely the best I had ever had. The food has always been fabulous but today it was extra fabulous!
Also, Asian Mint serves some of the best iced tea in Dallas!

This isn’t really one of those places I just say «WE HAVE TO GO HERE» to. And I’m not sure why. The food here is fantastic! (Service is a hit or miss though)
It’s a really cute, slightly dim-​lit green and clean place. Sometimes tired and annoyed, other times warm and happy faces will greet, seat and serve you. Water will never be empty, rest assured lol
I think they need to advertise it more because I was not aware of their $ sushi nights. Having stopped by the infamous Yama first and being told that there is a 45+ min wait (per usual), we decided to try something else nearby. What a pleasant surprise! Complete serendipity!
For sure, their Thai dishes are very filling and tasty! Their rolls are a bit too saucy for me but the normal person would most likely very much enjoy it! And desserts… wow. I’m not too much of a sweets person but the green tea ice cream cake is AMAAAAZZZZZING.

Asian Mint is a hole-​in-​the-​wall that serves amazing asian-​inspired cuisine. From the outside it doesn’t look like much, but as soon as I took a step inside, I was impressed by the décor and layout of the restaurant. The place is a bit small, and can get pretty busy during peak dinner times so come early if you can.
I normally don’t go for the Thai dishes that aren’t as authentic, but their Pad Kee Mow is pretty good. If I feel like spending a cool $ 20, I’ll go for the Grilled Salmon Curry. They have pretty decent sushi (can’t really compare with the sushi restaurants), their appetizers are good (try the fried calamari), and they give out good portions on their entrees. They also have desserts and drinks that are well made and very presentable. The wait staff is courteous, refilled our waters quickly and was attentive to our needs.
Overall, this is a place I frequent once every couple of months. Compared to the other Thai restaurants, this is right up there. Great place for a date as well!

Out of all the restaurants I miss going to in Dallas, Asian Mint makes top of the list. I love their pad thai, summer rolls, and yom tum soup. The ingredients are fresh and presentation beautiful.
If you haven’t been here, you must check this place out.

Came by here with coworkers and the place was very solid. We did not make a reservation and they were able to accommodate 14 of us somehow which is pretty impressive since it looks like the restaurant can seat about 40 total. I suppose we were lucky that it was the week between Christmas and New Years which is probably why it was not super crowded!
They brought out the food surprisingly quick for how many people we had and it was. They do provide sriracha and garlic chili sauce at the table in case it isn’t spicy enough for you!
My go to dish is pad see yew when I go to a Thai restaurant and this was no exception. The pad see yew comes with broccoli, carrots, baby corn and green peas as well and the portion size is very generous. Total came out to be around 9 bucks before tip.

Great little place. CRAZY crowded at lunch on a Thursday. All the tables were full, people were packed into the entryway and spilling out onto the sidewalk waiting for a table. I ordered online and swung by to pick up a take-​out order half an hour after I ordered it. It wasn’t ready yet, so I waited, scrunched in the entryway elbow-​to-​elbow with all the other waiting patrons.
I watched a waitress bring a bag of food out of the kitchen, half-​heartedly try to get the hostess’s attention, and then just leave the food on the bar, right above where customers were eating. I went over to the bag and checked the receipt on it, and sure enough, it was my food. I had to ask the people eating at the bar to hand me the bag, since it would have been awkward to reach over them. I can’t imagine it would have been any easier for the hostess to reach it, either. Not sure why the waitress chose to put the food there instead of calling my name.
When I did get the food home, it was really good. I had the Pad Se Iew, wide flat rice noodles in a sweet, mild sauce with broccoli and baby corn and carrots and tofu. Quite delicious. It’s my favorite Thai dish, and they do it well. And it’s a great deal, only $ 8.50 before tax and tip (and you get a lot of food!). So I’d probably return to Asian Mint, especially since it’s so close to my office and the food quality is good. I’d just try to go during a less busy time.

Asian Mint is a really quaint sushi restaurant in the Forest Park area. I can easily see why this place is popular. It has a convenient location, it’s clean and it’s not too expensive. My dinner date suggested Asian Mint. I was skeptic because it’s out of the bubble. However, upon arrival this place was happening. 98% of the tables were occupied and it seems like everyone is a regular. Typically I judge sushi bars on how well they make a volcano roll and Asian Mint delivered. It’s not always the largest roll that wins, but I like their style. You will find the staff to be friendly and hard working.
They offer a $ 1 special on Tuesdays. However it’s $ 1 per piece on limited choices.
Asian Mint would be my spot if I worked close by, such as Medical City Hospital.
Or if i lived close by.
Parking: There’s plenty of it, since Asian Mint is located in a strip shopping center.
