Lauren is an absolute sweetheart! She completely listens to everything I say and when I say I did not want an extravagant cake she listened when she showed me the design she was thinking! And wow her cakes… so delicious. I froze some leftovers and wow were they delicious even frozen… because I didn’t have patience to wait for them to defrost =x
I highly recommend anyone looking for a wedding cake or any other cake for that matter to come by and check her bakery!

Love this lady and her cakes!!! She is so down to earth and willing to help you come up with the perfect cake for any occasion with top notch customer service. They are reasonably prices for the beyond amazing work she does! I am excited to say we have chosen her to be our cake vendor for our wedding! :) We went in for a tasting and it was so hard to just pick a few flavors for everything tasted incredible! I will not stray from her!

Lauren is amazing! We have chose her as our cake vendor for our wedding. We met for our consultation and also had a cake tasting and let me tell you, her cake was top notch! It was hard for me not to look like a fatass and just finish it all completely! We received nothing but great customer service from her and felt very welcomed from the moment that we walked in. Lauren is a very honest, friendly, and talented individual with a great sense of humor, and she will definitely make your wedding cake dream a reality.

I love Lauren! She is funny, down to earth and realistic when it comes to cake. We met with her as a possible vendor for our Wedding Cake and the minute we walked out the door we both looked at each other and said «she’s the one». Her cake is some of the best I have ever had and she is more than willing to work with you on anything that you want. She is over our budget but she is totally worth it.

I planned my father’s 60^th birthday party in Dallas from Boston… not an easy feat. I found Fancy Cakes by Lauren thanks to my good friend Google. I wanted something special and unusual for the party.
The staff there is friendly and professional, and there is a wonderful online portfolio of cakes that showcase Lauren’s skill and creativity. Lauren herself is energetic and artistic.
I had somewhat of an idea of what I wanted, but in my phone consultation, Lauren came up with an idea that blew me away: let’s make the cake look like a giant bottle of port (Dad’s hobby), complete with custom label. She designed several labels for my review and approval and while they were all great, the one that ended up on the cake was the perfect choice.
Cut to the party – nobody knew it was a cake and when they found out, they couldn’t believe it. It looked amazing and was such a special addition to an already great occasion.
It tasted good too!
