Unfortunately, Cantabria has really deteriorated throughout the year that it has been open. They are on their 7th office manager in less than a year and sadly, a B-​Property company has bought them out. This is evident in client services and low rent tenants. There are multiple crime reports and cars and bikes being stolen monthly as well as assaults and harrassment by actual tenants. Few cameras are in and around the property. Good luck if you choose this place. It looks beautiful. However, looks can be deceiving.

I just moved into my apartment at Cantabria and Chris from maintenance went above and beyond in helping me get settled. He was quick to come by and fix a couple things I requested and was very friendly. So happy to live in a place with such attentive staff!

Rude and pretentious. Primarily a blonde haired girl who works in the office. It took quite a while to even get a tour of the property. She acted bothered by touring me around the community, uninterested, and unhelpful in answering my questions. She didn’t seem to want to help me apply. If you don’t have straight hair and blue eyes I wouldn’t expect much here. These apartments are nothing special, there are hundreds of identical places in Dallas.

New management… new day. First of all, the place is gorgeous. Just beautiful. We looked all around the area and none of the other apartments were as pretty and quiet as these. As we toured, we passed other residents in the hall & at the dog park and they were all friendly and so nice. Daniel and Breeana are amazing. They made the leasing process so easy and have bent over backwards helping us as we plan a move from across the country.
I am not an apartment person… I need room to roam and I never thought I’d say the words, «I’m so excited to move into our apartment» but I am! This place is gorgeous and the new management is well aware of previous issues, was very transparent, has already made some excellent progress in that regard, and seems very determined to completely turn things around.

Had a number of issues with two units, which the new staff from Fairfield helped to resolve in a quick and painless manner. Since they have taken over everything has really improved and as they get completely acclimated I’m sure it’ll only get better. They’ve got some pretty good specials available now so take a look!

This is a beautiful facility that just isn’t being maintained. They have a totally inadequate maintenance and cleaning crew and the result is a property that will deteriorate quickly. That seems to be the main topic of conversation among the residents – how poorly the property is maintained. So sad, we won’t extend our lease unless things change.
