Great place!!! Fair prices and amazing classes! Perhaps the best thing is the amazing knowledge the employees have. Such advice is priceless.

This store has a very knowledgeable and talented staff. They have helped me out on several jewelry related projects. They also taught my wife and daughter how to make all kinds of jewelry. They always have different trunk shows and classes going on. This is a very small store but they have a very large stock of beads and findings.

I visited wanting to make a bracelet, and I left with a beautiful, one of a kind piece of jewelry. I was so impressed with my first visit that my sister and I decided to book a private lesson for the next day. Not only was it a lot of fun, but we left with a beautiful pair of earrings that we made ourselves. They have beautiful jewelry already made as well. I fell in love with a dainty gold necklace they had displayed with a small gold initial charm and gemstone. I decided to have one made for myself with my initial and birthstone, which is peridot. They added small peridot near the clasp as an extra touch, which adds even more character to the piece. There are so many beautiful jewels to choose from, and I was was so impressed with all of the employees. They were all knowledgable, and more than willing to assist me with the millions of questions I asked. I can’t wait to visit my sister again and go back to Beading Dreams.

Expensive but worth it, they offer classes as well as a wide, exotic and basic, variety of beads and jewelry making supplies…

Carry large selection of quality beading and supplies. Everything from stringing, wire wrapping, knotting, metal & clay, basic soldering. They do lots of classes, repair jewelry, make custom designs, even have events like birthday parties for groups. A small, but stocked beading store with a very nice and helpful staff.

So I went here twice while visiting in Dallas. The first time I started a necklace after getting some advice from the sales associate. I then went back after finishing my project for their assistance with closing. The store is privately owned. The staff possess a variety of experience levels. And if someone does not know something they are very confident stating so and seeking assistance from another associate. I love this. Don’t waste my product or time«figuring» it out. The sales associate, Andrea was very pleasant and helpful. They were closing in 30 minutes, however, she did not let that stop her assisting me. We closed off my necklace(which was four separate strands that I wanted to come into one). After we finished that project I spent some time purchasing findings and charms. All in all left having spent over $ 100 bucks. And was giving a punch card too! Despite living out of town. Andrea said, they never expire so keep up with it. Way to go! Bead selection was vast, however I felt it was on the expensive end. Especially with so many wholesale stores in Dallas. But if you want to take a class, have jewelry worked on, or money to burn they are definitely your place.

Who knew there were so many beads to be discovered? Small bead shop with beading classes, knowledgeable staff, amazing inventory. Per-made jewelry a bit pricey but they have a few times a year where inventory is half price. I purchased some silver mounted crystals and some chandelier crystals for 50% off and they were a good bargain. The gals who work there are sweet and accomodating. They seem to have a firm following for their classes, and they have everything for the do it yourseler. Check them out the hit Rafa’s for a ‘Rita.

Now, I only went here because the wife made me come with her. Its actually a neat little shop with any and every bead you can imagine. The ladies in the store are very nice and knowledgeable about everything bead-ish. They have classes on a regular basis to teach you how to string beads… and I will say they will also teach you how to make bracelets out of just metal as the lady behind the counter was using a small metal hammer beating away on a metal object. There are tables there in the front and back, so if you don’t have the tools, you can actually just sit there, and make your beads on the spot. Great family atmosphere too as I saw a mother a daughter spending a Sunday together making a bead bracelet. It was actually kinda cool… It got pretty packed in there for a small shop. I was actually surprised. But being the masculine male that I am, there was just too much estrogen running around so I made a mad dash out of the place when it got super packed in there to Rafa’s. I saw the 3.99 mimosa’s at the mexican restaurant next door(review to follow)… so I got a couple of them to enjoy my afternoon outside in their patio area. :)

Small store, but well-stocked. The owner and her staff were friendly and very helpful. Nice, well-rounded selection of classes, too. I’ll definitely be back!

Nice selection, not too pricey with a wonderful homey feel. Selection of beads may be a tad limited, but they got lotsa cool stuff too including killer incense, with a refreshing liberal feminist vibe.

This is a family-owned bead shop that is perfect for the«weekend beader.» You can buy just what you need for a project or two and walk away with some beautiful baubles. For full-timers like me with a jewelry business, you’d be better off buying wholesale online. Still, I like to go and support my local bead shop, so I’ll stop in now and again to purchase a pendant or two that I haven’t seen anywhere else.

I took a couple of classes at Beading Dreams with a friend and had a ton of fun. Of course, the bottle of wine we drank out of paper cups while we tried to pay attention added to the general festivities. This place reminds me of a head shop, back in the day. Not only do they sell fabulous beads and every type of acoutrement for making jewelery, they have kickass incense! How cool is that? I close my eyes and it’s 1969 all over again. These women are serious jewelry designers, though, and I recommend their classes for anyone that wants to see how it’s done. They have good sales, too.

Feeling strung out? Try hanging out at Beading Dreams. There is something cathartic about stringing beads. I had a «girls night out party» here and invited about 10 women friends to flaunt their creativity. We each brought an appetizer and a bottle of wine and chatted our way through two hours of careful selecting and stringing. Everyone had a great time and went home with something to treasure. Two things to remember: Call and make reservations for a beading party. And be aware that you can run up quite a tab on beads — my turquoise beauty was around $ 100. You can get in and out for a lot less than that — your bead selection determines your end investment. Beading Dreams is not only chock full of glittery beads from around the world, the staff is also knowledgeable and helpful. If you are too busy to string your selections yourself, for a small charge, they will do it for you! Either way, you simply grab a tray and start a ticket and get to creating your own necklaces, bracelets and earrings! Although I have yet to enroll, Beading Dreams offers classes. They also provide jewelry repair.
