AMLI at Bryan Place

First I would like to say this is reference in a small friend gathering.
We were invited to the Amli for a get together from our closest friends that are residents here. There was a group of 11, three residents so we were one person too many for the pool 2 person per resident rule. We really didn’t think this would be a problem due to the 3 other large parties that were going on. As some of us were in the pool and others sitting in the cabana area watching the World Cup game, the leasing agent, that had poor choice of professional attire, came up to us with their rented cop to tell us we were breaking the two person rule. Which clearly was not the case for all of us. She was very rude and said that we had to leave. I find this hilarious because we were the smallest and quietest group at the pool.
We asked her why we were being targeted and she couldn’t give an explanation other than we needed to leave now. She then tries to whisper to the cop to figure out our friends name because she wanted to charge them for the non existing mess we supposedly had made. I stayed back to make sure it was cleaned to their standards while getting attitude the whole time. I’ve never had such a problem at this location and I’ve seen larger and rowdier groups. This new management really knows how to make residents feel welcomed. I highly recommend that future residents really think about this location before signing the lease.

Pro’s:
Location — You can’t get much closer to the center of downtown Dallas. AMLI is actually reasonably priced in comparison to everything else around it. Easy access to all major highways, 2 minutes from uptown, 2 minutes from Deep Ellum.
Parking — Considering the area, this complex actually has alot of parking for residents. There are no permits required so it is convenient for guests as well.
Con’s:
Mangement — TERRIBLE. They NEVER answer the phone, I have had more luck with emailing them, since the leasing agents probably sit on facebook all day anyways.
The maintenance staff is actually pretty nice & very helpful, however there is clearly no communication between them and the office, because their «48hr policy» is complete BS. It only applies if you call and bug the staff everyday until they show up at your door to fix whatever is broken.
Condition of units — fairly poor. Things are constantly breaking and needing to be fixed. I’ve had maintenance in my apartment atleast a dozen times since I moved in 7 months ago.
Security — Gates are always broken, so random people will park in our lot. Homless people picking through the dumpsters regularly. Vehicles are always damaged. My boyfriend’s truck had its mirrors stolen in the middle of the night.
Would not recommend to anyone… Glad to be moving out next month!!!

Amli Apartments at Bryan Place have been my residence for three consecutive years. Within this time, I have experienced expeditious and superior maintenance repairs and professionalism from management staffing at the business office. I enjoy the quality of life by a beautification of landscaping and well upkeep property.

I love my new place at AMLI Bryan Place. The staff and maintenance are very responsive and courteous. Meia is a doll. Not only is this place close to my work, but it is conveniently located to major thoroughfares and to all major shoping malls and great restaurants. This is my first couple of weeks, so I am not sure about the electric cost. Stay tunred. So far I love it.

I am coming up on living at Amli for a year and I honestly have nothing but good tihngs to say about it. I have been looking around just to see if I could find a bigger and/​or cheaper place since my lease is about to be up and even after finding both I still just can’t make myself want to move. The location is SO perfect. You are close to Deep Ellum, Uptown, Lower Greenville and Downtown. I have never had a problem with noise or security. There is a gentlemen that walks the property (not sure of his name) But he is just the nicest person. There have been a few instances where the gate has been open a few days but the office seems to get it fixed very quickly. Also I have had only 2 issues maintenance wise.(clogged toilet and AC not blowing cool air) and the maintenance man was knocking on my door within the hour. Everyone in the office is super cool and will work with you if you ever need anything. I love Kara she is awesome.
Yes I will admit that my apartment doesn’t have as much space as I would like (I am in the smallest floor plan offered)

700 sq ft apt. Electricity was over 150 bucks a month. Worst of all, they fucked me on a pet deposit, said they ‘accidentally’ credited to my first month’s rent, instead of crediting a prorated amount for repair after repair not completed with in their 48 hr guideline. First class crooks.
Gates always break and are never fixed so you have bums rifle through the dumpsters every morning.
Stay away from Meia in the office… rude and extremely unhelpful
Overall pieces of fucking shit

Let me start by saying my boyfriend and I do not rent this place. He works out of town (been here since June) so we are staying in one of their 1 bedroom apartments that is being paid for by Marriott and his company. Either way… this IS a regular apartment that will I’m sure be rented out at some point by someone who is paying regular rent… I would NEVER live here on free will.
Landscape… no too bad, dog poop everywhere.
Gate– our place is right by the damn thing and its the noisiest POS ever. The sign LIES and it does not shut after every car and 80% of the time is broken and open all night and day.
Actual Apartment Interior– doors lock but a 1 year old could just push them open. The knobs will lock when they’re not in the lock setting (locked OUT of the bathroom plenty of times). We lock our bedroom door at night for piece of mind but here it’s kind of out joke that nothing could keep anyone out of this place.
Carpet– hard as a rock and not even close to soft.
Appliances– LOUD… god bless them they’re loud. Can’t watch tv if they’re on. Stove– preeeetttyyy much caught on fire inside while cooking… thank God the bf walked in when he did so I could turn it off.
Parking– not bad actually.
Gym– small but well equipped.
Pool– pretty but nothing out of the ordinary special
Staff– maintenance guys are so nice so if you move somewhere for that alone then yes, move here but for all of the others– RUN

I absolutely love living here. I got a really good deal on a one bedroom. They are a little pricy because they are downtown but I’m lucky enough to catch a good price. My apt is beautiful and in the perfect spot of the complex. The pool is awesome and they even have a computer room and fitness center open 24 hours. The past 7 months I have had no issues with security, break-​ins, or maintenance. The staff is awesome! It is definately a place for people who are in there 20s-​early 30s. Most people are unmarried party people here. I would not recommend it for people who have families or older aged people. Everyone here goes out on the weekends I know that because I get out of work late and see all them coming home (and hear them) But none of that has bothered me. Did I mention this place is an awesome place to live!!!

Well, I’m getting hitched next month, my lease at Post Square was up this month, and I *really* wanted to try and lower my expenses as I prepare for married life.
So I pulled out my iphone and took a gander at the
app… yeah, I know… I’ve been living in Uptown for a few years now and I guess was used to the prices so I was *shocked* to see a 2b 2b 1000 sq ft. place overlooking the skyline for $ 940…
I grabbed me girl and we went rushing over and found the floor plan was really well done, the price was right so we took it! I moved in last week (God I hate moving) and my experience thus far has been a good one. The staff seems energetic and eager to take care of anything out of place, and the quality of the product is really good from what I have observed.
My only detraction is the 7’20″ behemoth that lives above us and hasn’t figure how to not walk on his heels…
