Have only used them for delivery but food is good and they deliver as promised. No complaints here on a cold night!

I know, chose a Chinese buffet in Auburn! Reviews gave me the confidence, food brought me falling down fast. Below average food with the same caliber clientele. Don’t believe the strong reviews.

This was our favorite Chinese Food.
Always good and a perfect order. A few weeks ago this changed. Tonight we ordered two cashew chicken, both arrived no cashew. I called the owner he said he knew, then wanted to know how to fix it. The past 3 orders have been wrong. Sadly we now have to find a new place.

Lunch Menu has a good choices for $ 5.25 a pretty good deal compared to your fast food joints. I ordered the shrimp & Lobster sauce lunch combo w/​egg roll. I called ahead and was ready when I arrived the egg rolls was crispy and hot. I would go back to try other items.

I about died and went to heaven with their crab Rangoon… Soooo good paired with a nice orange soda. Also out of the 3 restaurants nearby to me they have the best rangoon. Go treat yourself! Very affordable and they have a friendly staff.

So I have been a customer of Peking for over 2 years. I absolutely love the food BUT for the last 6 months it has taken over an hour and a half to get my food delivered and I live 5 minutes down the road. Not to memtiom it has been wrong oders with mistakes and in some cases miasing food altogethet. The only reason I keep putting myself through this is because the food is great. If growth is an issue for them, fine, that’s understandable for any small business. But figure it out and add staff or just cut delivery status so your customers aren’t disappointed time and time again. Regardless how good the food is I will NOT be ordering from them again. I’ll be shopping for a new Chinese restuarant immediately. Peking just lost a loyal customer!

The food here was good across the board. Every bite was tasty but nothing was extraordinary either. However, I believe that there is something to be said for a Chinese restaurant that you can believe in to deliver consistently good food. No sketchiness here!

Great food, awesome prices, fast delivery. Closed on Monday, but my go-​to for Chinese the other days of the week.

Just moved to the area and tried them out for delivery. We ordered the Sesame Chicken dinner combination, Shrimp Lo Mein and Shrimp Egg Rolls.
The delivery time was pretty quick. I was not overly impressed with out food, however. The shrimp in the Lo Mein was very small and the quantity was low. The Lo Mein overall tasted pretty good but next time we may go with a veggie or house Lo Mein to get better value.
I felt like the Sesame Chicken was too sweet and a little soggy even though we asked them to cook it extra crispy. I request this on delivery orders because I know it can get dampened during transport. I did not care for the taste and texture of the Sesame Chicken at all and definitely won’t reorder it again.
The shrimp egg roll tasted good but was very greasy.
I’m rating then a four because I would like to give them another chance! I think their food showed potential and maybe tastes better when not delivered so I’m not going to judge too harshly this first go… Especially when they have so many outstanding reviews… I will come back and make updates after our next encounter! :)

I don’t understand all of the high ratings. We were excited to try it and then sadly disappointed. Tasted like run of the mill mall food. The guy at the counter had multiple holes in his shirt and looked really scraggly. It didn’t give me much confidence in the food but the flavor sealed it for me. Boring.

Excellent food, great service! I WILL DEFINITELY be using them again. Best crab rangoons and steamed dumplings.

Richard, you said I haven’t added a review in a while. Well, thanks to you, I’m adding one. And, thanks to you, I found a new place to get Chinese food. And, thanks to you, I got the special request shrimp & eggs and mixed veggies. And, thanks to you, I LOVE IT! It was so good! And I am so stuffed (I couldn’t eat it all.)
I called ahead and when I got there, it was ready and piping hot. By the time I got home, it was STILL hot (and I live about 12 miles away).
All I can say is I WILL be back!

Thanks to everyone for the awesome reviews! We ordered delivery and everything was delicious! The quality did not suffer with the quantity of food given.

My wife decided to order from here. We got 2 hot bad sour soups, Gen chicken, Spare ribs and Kung poa chicken. Delivery was fast. Everything was good until I got to the soup which I reheated later. What a mistake for the last 2 days I have been fighting food poisoning. 103 temp, pain, nausea etc. I will not ever order from here again. This is the 1^st time something like this ever happened to me.

Without a doubt I need to give a big shout out to Scott H for turning me on to this place with his review. It was absolutely spot on!
THE SCENE
We had an awesome Chinese restaurant in the neighborhood where I grew up. It was within walking distance of my home, so as a kid, I was usually the one placed in charge of going to pick up the food. I developed a great relationship with the owner and often times sat near the kitchen and watch them prepare orders.
One day they were eating something not on the menu and I asked if I could have a sample. It was wonderful AND he gave me enough to take home to my parents. They loved it and the owner made this for our family by special request for years until he finally put it on the menu. The dish was called Shrimp and Eggs and also included a small amount of large bean sprouts mixed in (which make every Asian dish taste better in my opinion).
While visiting Peking for the first time today I thought I’d ask if they would be willing to make this off-​menu dish for me and they agreed. O-​M-​G, it was amazing. They also charged me about $ 4 less than Sun Garden just down the street, which WAS my favorite Chinese restaurant up until now.
THE FOOD
I brought home a smörgåsbord of food for our family to try. The prices were so reasonable I thought «why not get it all» considering we can dine on these items for several days. My gluttonous list of menu items included:
* SHRIMP & EGGS (5+ Stars) $ 9 — This dish is hands down my favorite take-​out meal of all time! It’s not a menu item, but they will make it upon request. Ask for it with a side of rice and make sure to emphasize «more egg and less sprouts». Some chefs can add TOO MANY sprouts and ruin the meal. They nailed it just right here.
* VEGGIE EGG ROLLS (4.5 Stars) $ 1.10 — Wife & kids loved them
* SHRIMP EGG ROLLS (4.5 Stars) $ 1.25 — The only thing holding me back from 5 stars is
A) I wish it had a little more shrimp content and B) I miss the days egg rolls had bean sprouts.
* SHRIMP & LOBSTER SAUCE (4 Stars) $ 6.95 — That same Chicago Chinese restaurant I grew up loving shaped my unwavering affection for this dish. Unfortunately I will probably never have it as good as back in those days when the sauce was a brown gravy and there was actual lobster meat in the gravy. In those days, their lobster sauce was more like a thick gumbo with an amazing rue. I’ll probably never get used to white lobster sauce, but I will say they do an excellent job here.
* GENERAL TSO CHICKEN (4 Stars) $ 6.95 — I ordered this based on Scott H’s recommendation. I’ve never had it before today and it was very satisfying and not so spicy I couldn’t enjoy it. Since I have no other point of reference I was a little cautious about giving them more stars.
* SESAME CHICKEN (5 Stars) $ 6.95 — A family favorite we all enjoyed.
* MIXED VEGETABLES (5 Stars) $ 7.25 — My wife’s favorite meal.
* SHRIMP FRIED RICE (3.5 Star) $ 7.25 — Great flavor, nicely cooked, but I like it better when there is a combination of small and large shrimp. Also, I would have liked to see just a little more egg mixed in with the rice.
THE VERDICT
I spent about $ 55 for enough food to provide two (maybe three) dinners and a lunch for my entire family of four. Service was friendly, prices are very reasonable (especially for lunch) and most importantly… this is some dang good food! It’s officially my new favorite take-​out spot. Now If I can just get them to make the lobster gravy brown with real chunks of lobster I’ll feel like that kid sitting by the kitchen again :-)

I waited till the second time I ordered to write a review because I wanted to make sure the first time was not a fluke. Bottom line, this is the best tasting, best value Chinese food I have had in Gwinnett County. Both times we had it delivered. Both times it arrived very fast. One was a Friday night and one was a Saturday night. My wife loved her Shrimp with Lobster sauce and the fried rice. I had the General Tso chicken the second time I ordered and it was some of the best I have ever had anywhere. It was awesome. The crab rangoon appetizer rocks too. And the prices cannot be beat. At the time of this review (11÷5÷13) you can get their combination platters for only 6.95 dinner price. The portion is good and the food is great. It also comes with an egg roll and they have the best egg rolls I believe I have ever had since my days of growing up in Griffin, GA which was the best Chinese Food town in the Southeast.
Oh, and one thing I forgot to mention is that you can order online. You can view the full menu and pricing and place the order online. We even typed in specific instructions that were followed to a T. This place rules.
Thumbs way up to this place. Can’t beat it. I am just glad they do not have a buffet or I would be 300 pounds!
