Pizzeria Azzurri

Had the fettuccine Alfredo and 3 different pizzas and it wasn’t the best. Spent a good amount of money for not so good food. The food didn’t seem fresh at all

Got delivery from here and enjoyed the food! The pizza was fresh and not greasy! The garlic bread was soft and delicious! Delivery was quick! We will be ordering again from here. We wished they had baked chicken wings instead of deep fried.

First time trying this place after Foxes service kinda went to crap.
Was presently surprised by how good my pizza was. I got the sweet Caroline. I love bbq pizzas and while this wasn’t the best version I’d ever had it was still pretty good. Service was fast and the waiter was very nice and attentive. Would definitely recommend this place.

The first time I had this place it was so good! The last few times, it was not at all. My veggie pizza was not baked long enough. Veggies and cheese were warm but not even browned. Probably won’t order again.

Normally when you eat pizza., there is a nest of pizza crust leftover. Well, not so at Azzuri’s ! The crust is so good, it’s the first thing I go for! I usually get a slice from their lunch menu. But this time I had the Dynamite Buffalo Chicken Napoleon. Wow what a nice surprise of flavors. Definitely best pizza you can find around here!

I have been going to this restaurant for over 3 years because its close and convenient to my house… The last 5 visits my companions have gotten sick due to the food. I tried to contact them via email but their email link doesn’t work. Guess Ill be taking my guest to Mellow Mushroom… Not sure whats going on but Ive never been their when a manager has been there asking patrons how their experience has been.

Very good pizza and a laid back atmosphere– they usually have good draft beers on tap too!

The food here is ok. We came on Saturday and where told we couldn’t buy pizz buy the slice. So thats why I am only giving it 3 stars. You cant call yourself a pizza palor if you are only going to sell pies like dominoes or papa John’s.

Delivered the wrong pizza twice. Spoke with the manager, to no avail. Will not be back

After the Johnny’s New York Pizza at the corner of Keith’s Bridge and Browns Bridge closed, my husband and I (new to the area) went in search of a great pizza. We definately found it here at Azzurri. We enjoyed our food and while it was a very busy night when we went, we had great service and will definitely go back and likely make this our go-​to pizza place.

Bottom line: tasty food and friendly staff in a comfortable atmosphere. The restaurant is in a small plaza off Browns Bridge Road west of GA-​400 (it’d be Exit 18 except that this is where the highway ends and becomes a divided road). There is surprisingly a lot of seating inside — booths, tables, and a bar — and a few tables outside on the side of the restaurant, too.
They have several rather inexpensive lunch specials during the week: I got the salad and pizza slice combo with a drink for $ 5.99, and the boyfriend got the two slice and drink combo for $ 5.99, as well — wow, cheap lunch! The salad was fresh, crisp, and served on a chilled plate (a nice touch). The pizza is thin crust, sort of New York style, but not quite. The slices were of good size and the flavors were solid, although the crust could have been just a little firmer — for easier folding! We also got the GARLIC BREADSTICKS — yum yum yum! Comparable to others’ garlic knots but not drenched in butter.
Upon entering the restaurant, we were immediately greeted by two different staff members. I was struck at how friendly and happy the staff seemed. Our waiter was friendly, courteous, and always kept our drink cups filled. The ambiance was pleasantly casual, and I could tell this was a lunch spot for the locals (a utility service crew was eating on our left, and the Sheriff and company was on our right).

We’ve been here several times and have always had decent food and service. Tonight not so much. Salad was bad, the garlic and olive oil wings were bland and I sent them back. They tasted «naked» The manager returned them with oil poured on them with giant chunks of garlic. Not what I anticipated. However the wait person was literally taking our food before we were even done. She must have had a hot date. Sweet but WAY to rushed. I am disappointed to say the least. Hopefully it was an off night.

I enjoyed the food and thought our server was great. I will definitely be back.

Since my review 11/​18/​2015, and after Jon, the Owners nice response, we have again eaten at Pizzeria Azzurri twice. Both times the experience was very good, great service, prices right, and great food. Looks like a mistake was made on both sides. We shall return. And, again, Jon, thanks for your response and taking care of your customers. Donna B.

Just left this restaurant. Walked in, a server told us to seat ourselves so we did. Sat for 15 minutes (at a table with finish that was peeling, cracked and basically nasty) with no acknowledgement from staff — not even menus. They were not overly busy. We started to walk out and a server said ‘Thank you — have a great afternoon!’ I had tell her we were leaving bc no one had served us… Disappointed after driving 20 minutes to get here :-(

After two visits recently, this is by far the best pizza and wings place in the area. Great service and the staff works hard to make your dining experience top notch. (Esther is the best cannoli maker out there!!) Carey is a master at the craft of pizza baking and wing creation. If you go…, you will return.

We went back last week to give this place another chance because we just loved the atmosphere. The pizza was still excellent and we tried the wings (YUM!).
Our server was incredibly nice and attentive. I noticed other servers going out of their way to be helpful and generate conversations with guests. I can tell our first experience was just an off night or they’ve stepped up their game recently. We’ll keep coming back for sure!

Ordered pizza here with cheese breadsticks and cannoli, but I went to use the ten percent offer that Unilocal gives you and the girl at the counter gave me this look like she was in the middle of smelling dog poo, like she didn’t want to use it and then when I look at my receipt she only gave me $.20 off my total not 10% off my 30.00 dollar bill.

I ordered pizza and wings for Delivery last week. They came super fast and everything was excellent!

Great pizza and service. Very brick oven style and the toppings are great as well. Family of four can eat for under 40. We will be back!
