Chinese Laundry

I’ve seen Chinese Laundry shoes before, but this is the first Chinese Laundry store that I’ve set foot in. The staff here is super friendly. They’ve only opened a couple days ago, and I’ve stepped in twice already!
Sooo I may have made the mistake of coming on on 05÷18÷13 when they were having their grand opening party. There were complementary cupcakes, cookies, and drinks. Special appearances included Natalie Pack (Miss California 2012) and Cassidy Wolf (Miss California Teen 2013), so there were a bunch of people crowded in this shoe store (I get uneasy with a large crowd at times).
Anyways, they have a super cute selection of shoes. Of course, as many stores, they have their in-​store specials as well as some online-​exclusives and whatnot.
If there is a style you like, but they’ve ran out of your size, they will be happy to order it for you, assuming the line as a whole still carries it.
I bought the black and white sandals «Read My Lips» in a size 6. They are comfy and super cute, and they fit perfectly on me. What I did not realize was that the lady that helped me out on the busy day was that one shoe was a size 6 and the other shoe was a size 6.5. It didn’t make /​that/​big of a difference, but it was kind of annoying to have a pair of shoes that were different sizes. I realized this after a friend came over and took home the empty shoebox because it was so pretty, so I did not have the shoe box with me.
So, the next morning, I called and explained my situation. They told me that I could come in and exchange the shoe, which was what I did.
The lady that assisted me was super helpful, despite another busy day. It really helped me out (matching pair of shoes in the right size), and helped them out as well, so it wouldn’t happen to another customer if they decided to buy the size 6.5 shoes and later found out one is a 6.
I’d definitely come back here again (so unlike me to say because I am not that big of a shoe person) because they have great deals (30% off selected styles), and I could see myself in a good percentage of their styles.
