This is just as bad as any fast food place. I had the plain wings and they tasted spoiled. Save your money and go somewhere else in the food court.

Pretty crappy. I’ve been to the Chicken Now at this mall, and the one in Redondo Beach. The one in Redondo Beach is sooo much better. The«crispy» chicken is barely fried to be considered crispy. Requesting sauce gets annoying when they should just have it in the open, instead of asking all the time. Only good thing is the fries are yummy(at both locations) and the customer service is good. The chicken itself at this location is mediocre at best. Also, tried the buffalo chicken sandwich, they literally just put some tobasco kind of liquid on the chicken, they don’t even bother using marinated chicken. Get some better cooks and get your act together like the Redondo Beach location!

Best fast food restaurant I’ve been to, really great customer service. I like the way they treat their customers, great place to take the family after a walk in the mall.(: ps great cook!(David)

Mediocre. Basic. Typical mall food! The chicken was juicy and flavorful but saying that the fries were greasy is such an understatement. I could feel my arteries clogging with each bite. Also, it’s pretty expensive for some chicken tenders(about $ 8)! I’d rather go to Burger King next door or even Potato Corner if I wanted to spend that much. And the service… Oy! Can I get a smile please? I felt like the girl who was helping me acted like I was asking for her kidney and not ranch. My bad! I just like sauce with my chicken. Geez!

Bad customer service. Chicken was bland and cold. Fries were soggy and barely cooked. Don’t waste your time or money at this place.

This is bullshit. It is 8:47 and I was hungry so I decided to come eat here, this short girl comes up to me and says, «sorry we are closed.» Confused about what she just said I checked online for hours and it clearly says closes at 9PM not 8:47. Never gonna eat here again. She needs training, worse experience EVER. DONTEATHERE!

I love me some chicken tenders. It’s like I am still 6 years old and it’s the only thing I wanna eat. When I see a new place that supposedly specializes in it, it tends to be a draw for me. Just got five tenders. They were of decent size, but still $ 8 just seemed steep. Big chunks of white meat which were hot and enjoyable. However they were definitely really greasy, and nothing too exciting about them. Just some good hunks of fried chicken.

Horrible customer service, two employees on the phone, no name badges, ignoring multiple customers asking for samples, only allowing one sample per potential customer but offering 3 different flavors. Doesn’t make any sense to me if you’re gonna offer 3 different flavors but only one sample. The cashier was texting right in front of me while the cook was in the back literally talking on the phone, and the female employee was making her own food rushing out. Worst customer service ever! But food was decent. Gave them one star because of the food

Chickenow for chicken at the food court. I needed some protein and chicken has protein, yum. There are a lot of variations of the chicken dishes from chicken strips to burgers. I decided to get the«spicy buffalo crispy chicken wrap». First things first, the wrap was okay. I was satisfied in the end. I, however, have a few comments. For those wanting«crispy», don’t combine it with the spicy. Because the chicken was covered in sauce, it wasn’t crispy at all and that was my fault for placing that order. My friend told me her crispy chicken was great though. Next, I wished there was more chicken in the wrap! For a place that advertised chicken, they really skimped on it in my wrap. Also I thought the chicken kind of tasted like the Costco buffalo chicken(which isn’t a bad thing, just disappointing). Chickenow also gives you a side of a sauce of your choice. The sauces are pretty good. You can sample each one before ordering. Besides the food, service was quick and the employees are friendly.

Chickenow has gotten confusing. It carries Mexican dishes in addition to its staple of chicken strips. I like the spicy sauce. Service is pretty fast.

The chicken here is delicious. While shopping at the mall I had a craving for a country-style chicken burger. Found this place and the little Asian woman was so nice and offered me a sample of their chicken tenders, delicious! So I ordered their chicken burger and it’s absolutely perfect! Filled my stomach well with that tasty«regular» sauce all over my fries! Will be back again soon.

The days of «large» pieces chicken tenders 5, 10 and 20 pc boxes are long gone. I am totally boycotting this place and telling everyone not to get the chicken only boxes.

Really nice girls working the counter here. I hate going to food courts… But also this mall. Most people who works at the food court are rude and don’t know how to provide customer service at 100% but whatever… However, this review is for Chicken Now, so let’s move along. The service I will give them is a 4 because they don’t really have to approach your table and serve you like they would at a restaurant. The food I would give a 2 star… Which brings my overall rating to a 3. The chicken is not bad but not that awesome either. The Sauce makes it really tasty so make sure you pick a flavor! Chicken over rice and their over loaded peppered coleslaw… Would be what I get from here. But it’s not a favorite for sure. Ladies at the counter! Thumbs UP! :-) keep it up!

This might be subjective because let me explain. While in Vegas I discovered a place called Canes. Some of you may know what I’m talking about but they make the best chicken tenders with their infamous Canes sauce. Since then, I’ve been looking for something similar. I think I finally found it. Chickenow specializes in chicken as the name states, obviously. I ordered the chicken tenders meal and it came out to be really good. Chicken is pretty tender and has good taste to it. It’s got that nice golden crust and tender white meat. I got the meal so it came with fries and toast. The one plus is it also comes with a sauce similar to Canes! I would say you must try this place especially if you’re looking for some good chicken tenders.

The good: 1) The girls at the counter are friendly, which is really not that difficult and goes a long way to improving the customer experience, but is surprisingly rare at restaurants, even nicer places than this counter at the mall food court. They seemed genuinely apologetic when I had to bring my bun that was covered in cheese(when I asked for no cheese) back. 2) When you order, if you have a drink, they tell you you get one free refill. The bad: 1) The fries. I do like the consistency, they have this odd breading that is reminiscent of A&W fries, though these are a little thicker. But they’re pretty tasteless. I had to dip them in the buffalo sauce to make them worth eating, and still didn’t finish. 2) The cook got my order wrong. I made sure to say no cheese. The girl taking the order repeated it, and noted it on the receipt. When she gave me the sandwich, she even said«spicy chicken sandwich, no cheese». When I sat down and opened the sandwich box though, there the cheese was, sticking out. Fortunately it was only really melted onto the bottom bun, so I was able to take it back and get another one. 3) For a fast food place, they sure take their time. There were two guys in the cooking area, which can’t fit too many more people than that anyway, and even though it was lunch time, there weren’t a whole lot of people ordering. But it still took them 15 minutes to prepare my food. 4) There’s a spot for a tip on the credit card receipt. Who tips at a fast food place? You tell the cashier your order, they tell the cook, the cook makes it and wraps it, and the cashier/server calls your number and gives you the food. What part of that suggests anyone deserves a tip? Granted, they don’t act like they mind when people don’t tip them. The tips are so far and few between that they must be used to it. The meh: 1) The spicy chicken sandwich is just ok. It’s a little spicy and the meat is decent quality, but in the hierarchy of fast food spicy chicken sandwiches, this one lands squarely in the middle. Maybe even a little below.

At here recently in my efforts to explore other places in this mall’s food court. I was offered a sample of the tender and it was damn good, juicy and flavorful on the inside and crispy on the outside. I got the three tender meal, with sides of Texas toast and corn. I have to say the tenders did not disappoint, they were super delicious! Definitely the best tenders I have had at any fast food place. The buffalo sauce I had was great, too. Service was very friendly as well. I will definitely eat here again and recommend it to others. the only reason why this place gets 4 stars instead of 5 is that I wish they had more non-carb-only side options. I would love some more veggies on the menu.

Yes, this is a mall food court place, but I was so impressed with their spicy chicken sandwich(#3 combo), I had to review it. This chicken sandwich comes with a very large piece of crispy fried white meat chicken. It also comes with a spicy sauce, jalapenos, lettuce, tomato and CHEESE! I was extra excited about the cheese, cause normally fast food places charge extra for cheese. I was full from the sandwich, but the fries were like a thicker version of Zippy’s fries(in Hawaii), so I did as much nostalgia eating as my stomach could handle. :) Oh so lovely. I hope this place lasts awhile cause I plan on eating this again.

A good bigotry-free alternative to Chick-Fil-A. And let’s be honest, the food there is as delicious as the donations are repugnant. Honestly, it’s almost as good. The fries were totally awesome, the chicken was the second-best I’ve had, and it’s right here in the dining terrace at the Fox Hills Mall. Perfect. I’ll be here every weekend I teach.

What a difference a few months makes — This place is so terrible now. The size of the chicken tenders are so small now compared to how it was when it first opened. The sauces aren’t out in the open and you have to request it one by one which is annoying. The customer service folks are so confused and untrained. The last three times I went they messed up my order. I take back all the nice things I said earlier about Chicken Now 2 months ago. Such a shame.

«Work out those kinks… Meanwhile, gimme some chicken. Now.» I wrote a five-star review for Chicken Now, when it was a part of the Westside Pavilion’s food court, years ago.( ) Things have changed, for both the good and the bad. They now have their delicious sauces and dressings at a little self-serve station. If you have Cesar salad dressing out, ITSHOULDBEREFRIGERATEDORKEPTONICE! THISIS A HEALTHCODEISSUE and I don’t want to lose another Chicken Now location. That being said, you can load up on their house sauces, ketchup, BBQ sauce, and salad dressings. This is a great idea and makes the consumer feel like they’re really getting«their money’s worth.» THEFOOD&ISSUES. I ordered a two-piece«Tender Box,» which includes two sides — I opted for the traditional Texas Toast and French Fries. The order was ready within the minute, which means it was NOT fried-to-order, like it used to be. It was good, albeit a tiny bit soggy and greasy in some parts of the tender. The fries were not as hot as they were at the Westside Pavilion location(back in the day); again, likely due to the food not being fried-to-order. It should be made clear: The food did NOT taste old, but didn’t taste as fresh as the old location. I enjoyed the chicken tenders, which were VERY moist. The fries were fantastic, compared to most places. Double-frying is the only way to get a truly immaculate fry — and Chicken Now does it right. Their fries did not disappoint. Now, just make ‘em fresh-to-order and you will get those extra stars. The public WILL respond because freshness is next to godliness. The only real problem with the order(other than NOT being made-to-order) was the fact that the Texas Toast should’ve been a bit more crisp and toasty. It was a bit soggy, and I can only imagine what happens to that toast, in a to-go order, during a 20-minute ride home. Eeep. I’d prefer a more browned and crispy surface… And I believe it is possible. THESERVICE. Jenny was the cashier who helped me. She informed me of my side order options(a luxury other reviewers apparently weren’t privy to) and was kind enough to offer me the option of bottled water as opposed to tap water(which apparently isn’t the best around). She humored me, as I raved about how happy I was that they were now a part of my local food court. She’s management material. Jenny had a big smile, a professional yet friendly demeanor, and was very helpful, overall. Kudos. OVERALL. Now that I know it’s open, I’ll be back to check on consistency in both service and product and I’ll come armed with my camera. For now… get happy, because really tasty, fresh, AFFORDABLE Fried Chicken is back. Now.
