The first time I came here there was hardly any food under the standard heat lamps that you would see at a fast food chinese place… I can’t stand Panda Express so I am willing to try new places… it was as I placed my order that I realized that they make the food FRESH which is great… Not sure what is up with the negative reviews on this place but I come back here time and time again. Staff is nice… it’s the same old man each time and like I said food is made to order. you can beat that.

Cooks to order, which is fabulous! I love the shrimp w/vegetable soup. The rest of my family ordered combo plates and an order of delicious wings(lemony zest)! Very authentic tasting, inexpensive food. I definitely suggest giving this place a try if you want a break from Panda Express. The cook had a pretty positive attitude as well, which is always a plus!

This place was terrible!!! The food was not good. Yuk! I ordered Combo A and when I was done ordering my steamed rice and one item only the lady than asked«What else»? I was like … What so you mean its only one item right? Combo A comes with 2 items. She was like«YES»! OOO K! So I ordered another item. I than waited while my food was«FRESHLYCOOKED» is what they called it. After finally getting my food I was charged more than what I had expected. I stated,” Isn’t Combo A $ 4.49? The lady was like, «You ordered Combo B.» OMG. REALLY! I was so annoyed by this and decided I wasn’t gonna be tricked into buying a 2 item combo. LOL No thanks! I told the lady that I ordered combo A. That’s what I wanted. And instead of admitting her fault. She than proceeded to pick out every piece of chicken til the last crumb, turning my combo back into one item. lol. WOW! MEORMYCOWORKERWILLNOTBERETURNING…

Ok I’ve lived in Covina here for a few years. THISPLACEISDELICIOUS !! Please don’t listen to the nay sayers, EVERYTIME I ORDER it’s from the menu and it’s MADEFRESHTOORDER. Don’t go in for a Bowl & Drink. They are traditional Chinese family style cooking from the menu.

I’m really not trying to be mean, rather just honest. This place has new management, and chances are in another year or so, it will have another«Grand Opening» or «New Management» sign out front. Over the past 5 years of me living in Covina, this is how it has been. This is not going to be like Panda Express or any sit down restaurant. The food is all pre-cooked sitting under heat lamps. It is all drowning in sauce and oil. The beef is very chewy and the chicken meat is all dark meat. Why do I come here? Lol, well if you get something that they have to cook on the spot, it will be quite good. I usually opt for War Wonton Soup, or a batch of Fried Rice. Have I experienced better, hell yes!!! Have I experienced worse, hmmmm this place is pretty darn close to it.

Great customer service and food! We got there late and were pretty much out of food so they made everything fresh for us. Good milk tea, chowmein, orange chicken,& hot and aour soup, the only thing I didn’t care for was the bbq pork.

The one thing I hate is writing a bad review and whats even worse is that I did not even finish my food. I was craving Chinese food after picking some stuff at the local market. The Grand Opening Sign is what caught my attention and what caught my attention even more was the sign at the entrance that said. The place would be closed on the 1st and 4th Monday of every month. That along should have been a REDFLAG, but my stomach got the better of me. To make a long story short about this unpleasant experience I had here. I ordered the two item combo with Orange Chicken and Teriyaki Chicken. As I walked to the cashiers counter I noticed how much of a mess the stove was and how pans laid underneath the stove. When I got home and opened up my order. I noticed and tasted that the Orange Chicken was Sweet and Sour Chicken. The Teriyaki Chicken was not covered in some other broth other than Teriyaki sauce. After a few bits into the meal I could not finish my order because my tastebuds were expecting something else! I’m not even going to go into the dried out Chow Mien. To say that least I am a bit disappointed and now that I look back at it. The cashier took change out of the Good Luck Frog’s tray. Never again.

Happened to be in the area and saw a Grand Opening sign for this place. Parking is easily found since it shares it with many other shops and a market. The facility is clean and seats were available for seating. This is more of a panda express type of place, not a restaurant where you sit down and order. The guy who was scooping my food was nice. I ordered a 2 item combo-fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, and chicken w/mushrooms. The chicken and mushrooms had an odd taste and was VERY oily. Sweet and sour chicken didn’t taste fresh, but the flavor was good. I did enjoy the fried rice. I also had a thai tea, whichi was refreshing. The price was average(total for my meal w/drink was $ 8.15). Honestly, I probably won’t be back for the food, but maybe the thai tea.
