I literally used to live down the street from this place for 15 years and never went. On Mother’s Day my parents called the kids to come down for an all you can eat with the fam. I was kind of scared to eat here, these buffet places are usually dirty(and now that I HAVE eaten here, I read some pretty nasty reviews, gross lol) anyways, yea it’s even more sketch on the inside. Old, dusty. What’s weird is that my parents eat here a couple times a year, so I was like fine whatever… there is a large variety of food and it actually wasn’t bad. I didn’t get sick and I ate items that could’ve potentially made me sick, i.e. sushi. What’s weird is that we went on Sunday, Mother’s Day and my dad paid for the bill with his card. The young guy took the card and returned with his card and receipt. On Wed/Thur May 11⁄12 he received a notification in the afternoon from the bank to confirm 2 transactions. One he made… One he did not. It was for a $ 300 purchase at UnderArmour in Cabazon. The bank denied their purchase and my dad was sent a new card. My dad’s pretty suspicious about everything so he’s pretty careful about things(i.e. Passwords, bank info, Internet use, etc.) He claims the only time his card was out of his sight was when he paid here. Who knows, right? I’d say if you’re brave enough stop by and try the place. The food isn’t bad. It does seem dirty and it is old… like I don’t even want to know what the kitchen looks like when they turn off the lights :(and if you do come here, might be best to pay in cash. Just in case… Who knows …

I love this place. Never get tired of this so much variety! Barbecue beef ribs. They have all different flavor of Chinese food. They have all different kinds of dishes, they have, shrimp, crab, miso soup, a well sorted salad and fruit bar. They even have sushi! Delicious pastries and ice cream for a very reasonable price! Will never tire!

Gone down hill since the last review service has gotten worse and the quality or the food is not what it used to be. Once we were seated the waitress never came back to see if there was anything else Or to see if everything was ok Food subpar at best

I have driven by this place a million times and always wondered what it was all about… Had to meet a client that is into AYCE type of places… To tell you the truth… this place is actually above average compared to others… First of all… I was surrounded by my brothers and sisters from South of the Boarder… I noticed they had plates piled high with fried rice and chow mein… others had plates full of crab legs and oysters… I tried alittle of everything just to say I did… Not too bad… There was one item you dont see elsewhere… Beef ribs… So if your out in BFE… and you feel like buffet type food… This is your place… The staff is really friendly and these Chinese people can actually speak some Spanish… Esta Bien!!! I had to tell my Chinese SH@T joke… ask anyone who can speak Mandarin what Esta Bien translates or sounds like… :)

Sort of a 3.5, so I rounded up. Went here twice in the last month for different gatherings. It seems like a fairly popular place. Price is very reasonable. Food is hit-or-miss, with enough good selections to make a meal(small clams, mussels with a mayonnaise sauce, sesame balls, fish filet along the back wall). There is a sushi bar, which tasted decent for an AYCE buffet. Did not like the steamed dumplings too much, the dough was too thick. They have a separate room on the side for a «private» party — but the long tables make it cramped and the carpeting in that oddly shaped room deceivingly goes up the wall over a knee-high ledge that my uncle tripped on and fell to the floor. The staff insists that you choose either tea or water. If you want both, you can ask for both, but they’ll only do that for each individual who asks. One time the staff was attentive with refills, the other time they were not. I guess it depends on what is going on in the rest of the restaurant.

3rd time there was pretty good. They did a bit of remodeling from back in the day. Seems they also stepped up their food game. Will be back party of 3 for like 21 bucks during lunch time not bad at all.

My dad is big on buffets and this is how go-to spot because it’s cheap and has decent food. They recently started serving sushi and small sashimi, which in my opinion is not too bad. They also started serving crab legs, so the food you get for the price is pretty good. Their beef and broc is honestly good and so are a couple other dishes. For the most part it’s not crazy good, but different good. All in all the food is good for the price and the staff is friendly. Everyone who works here looks kind of miserable though.

This place has a variety of food, from donuts to ice cream, to sushi, orange chicken to soup. My fave are the cinnamon sesame ball, crab in the shell, green onion soup broth, and wontons. Been coming to this place since it opened & it’s always great. You get what you pay for it good.

I cringe every time I pass by this place. The food is horrible. I don’t expect much since there are not a lot of Chinese restaurants in the area. But I am so surprise how tasteless everything is. I don’t care how cheap it is.

I have to agree with the most common regarding about their food is dry. They really need to work on that. I hope the owner of the establishment read this.

The food is disgusting, most of the food tasted like it was sitting out for hours. It was stale, soggy, mushy!!! Just disgusting! Rude customer service as well. Wasted $ 13 for one plate of food

It’s a buffet not a five star restaurant, I don’t know what all the other reviewers expected. You won’t be talking about the food for days or anything but it hits the spot for Chinese food. My boyfriend and I came the other day for lunch. They had many choices that were all fresh. I noticed the staff constantly changing them out. Unlike other reviews I felt that the place was very clean! Our server forgot to bring my boyfriend a cup for his hot tea but no biggie we just flagged him down and he brought it right out with apologies. I left full and satisfied with a check for only $ 20. It’s a good deal if you ask me.

I’m not a fan of buffets, in general, and this place seals the deal in why I don’t go. I came here not by choice but for a reception and I am never coming back. The quality of the food is awful, but I don’t expect much when there’s a mass production of food, in general. The only saving grace was their steamed sole and their egg drop soup, which is why I didn’t give them just one star. There was ample parking too and the service was not bad. I’ve experienced worse service at a buffet but they seemed to be helpful. Otherwise, the fried rice and dim sum that I ate was cold. That grossed me out. Their tea was just hot water and a tea bag, in plastic tea cups that just seemed so cheap to me. The shumai was not authentic at all and it seemed to cater to a more American clientele who does not know much about Chinese food and would prefer to eat at Panda Express. The décor seemed like they were still in the 1970s. Sorry Buffet China, I’ve experienced better and I don’t think I’ll be coming back even if I had to.

This is my pop’s all time favorite buffet… that’s close to home and on the cheaper side, anyways. I’ve been coming here for years now, and the only thing that’s really changed are the prices. Food selection is good and consistent for an all-you-can-eat Asian buffet. Menu doesn’t really change. However, they recently changed the layout to include space for a sushi chef. They also now have a decent selection of sushi(when compared to their sushi selection before anyways). At night time, they have a broader seafood selection including oysters. I think they’re making that available all day now after my last couple of visits. Prices aren’t too bad for a buffet. You get what you pay for. In conclusion, it’s not a Vegas buffet. But it’s better than the usual oriental buffet.
