Been coming to this place for about 3years always get a great haircut and beard trim. All the barbers do a great job! I Would recommend this place to anyone who wants good service and a friendly staff

I have been coming here for years. Rose is the owner and she never gives a bad haircut. In fact she is fast and efficient. I have always gotten a great cut. The prices are very reasonable too. When I’ve gotten a haircut from one of the other barbers here, I have been pleased as well.

Rose and the crew are awesome! Been coming here since I moved to the area, they do a supurb job with me and my two boys. The price is right and they give you a good old fashioned barber experience with a nice shoulder massage at the end. Looking forward to my next visit, thanks guys!

We go once a week and owner is always welcoming us in with big smiles and great conversation! Quality cuts without a 3 hour wait time like my old barber! As an actor, a great haircut is essential. I’ve paid $ 90 on the west side for a less satisfactory cut than I get from Rose for $ 12. Highly recommend this shop. It’s worth the drive even if you live outside the SGV.

Been coming by here for about a year now and have had nothing but good experiences. All the barbers are very friendly and more than capable at doing a variety of different hair styles. Prices are definitely reasonable and I would recommend anyone who’s looking for a good haircut to come here

Super unhappy!!! The first time we went, I thought oh great… finally affordable prices, it states $ 7 cuts… so I took my two boys… they were happy because the lady was fast but I wasn’t impressed by the cuts, I always get zero’s high fades and about 4 on top, the owner only bad mouthed other shops like the one I was going to before and she kept trying too hard to convince me that they are better… Now I know why there is never anyone there… She’s not a talented barber… she didn’t even know what a zero on a trimmer is??? WTH? Okay, I won’t be back… I gave her business 3x’s and each time the price went higher… for kids cuts… seriously???

Prices have doubled, the place looks like a dump and I’m not happy with my cut. Do yourself a favor and don’t bother stopping in. There are better barbers.

Good luck figuring out what time they open in the morning. No posted hours. I guess its only good to come during the middle of the day to wait in line. Very frustrating as a consumer thst is trying to plan their day out. I won’t be back here again.

Great haircuts for a cheap price!

I’ve driven by here numerous times never having given it a second thought. I finally decided to stop in yesterday to see if they could give me what other, pricier salons/​barbers haven’t been able to.
I’ve gone to Sport Clips in Glendora, CA for at least 3 months now. Every time I go, I ask for the same thing, nothing off the top and a high zero. Each time I’ve gone, the cut is never a short as I want it to be and I always leave a little bit dissatisfied. A zero means virtually bald or bald. I don’t think that Sports Clips has the proper equipment to do a proper zero.
Charter Oak Barbers is a barber shop. It’s a no-​frill establishment, very simply decorated, with 4 chairs. This is a not a place where you go expecting luxury products or a neck massage, they cut hair well at an affordable price. There is a sign – in their window, I believe – advertising $ 7 for a cut, once you walk in, however, there is another sign stating that the price has increased to $ 10 as the $ 7 price was a 1-​year promotion.
There was no wait when I walked in, I sat down for maybe a minute before a stylist/​barber called me over to her chair. I told her I wanted a high zero and that’s exactly what she gave me. It took a bit of time – she used about 4 different clippers and/​or cutting combs – but the result was exactly what I wanted and for $ 10, the cut can’t beat.
There is also a TV – it was playing Billy Madison at the time – that you can watch. The stylists/​barbers even make a point of turning you so that you can watch the television for most, if not the entire duration of your cut.
I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here and will certainly be coming back!
