Wowzser Cleaning Services

We own a two bedroom, 1.5 bathroom, 910 sq ft townhouse in Huntington Beach which we rent out. Our renters moved out on December 31, 2012. I called Ray on January 2, 2012 and specifically asked him the cost for a MOVE OUT, DEEP CLEAN of the property to prepare for our new renters. I forewarned him that the place was left a mess (bugs everywhere, dirty walls, dirty appliances) and specifically requested that all appliances (stove, fridge, dishwasher and stove) to be thoroughly cleaned.
He was very responsive and scheduled his crew to come out that day. I appreciated this quick response. Unfortunately, I had to re-​schedule for another time since we had other contractors working on the property. We finally agreed on Friday morning (January 4, 2012).
His crew arrived on time and my husband met them. My husband walked them through the property and pointed out exactly what we wanted. He also asked Ray if I had mentioned the DEEP CLEAN, especially the kitchen and appliances. They started at 7:30 a.m. and I received a text at 10:24 a.m. that they finished.
My husband and I went to the property and reviewed their work. The stove and floors behind the fridge and stove were still dirty. There were still spiders on the walls. There was still dirt in a few cabinets. Of course, Ray had one of his employees fix these issues as we pointed them out. He had excuses for everything, too.
On the phone, he first quoted me $ 90.00. Than he said it was $ 110. Before we paid him, he said he usually charges $ 200, but gave me a special. The property also has a wall heater which they cleaned out. He said that he usually charges extra to clean this out. I am in sales and I can’t stand people who make these types of comments after the price has been negotiated. Be upfront and don’t make comments as if you’re doing me, the customer, a favor.
My husband and I spent the WHOLE weekend at the condo. I spent four hours in the kitchen cleaning what they didn’t get done. The stove overhead and fan was never cleaned. The back of the stove and fridge were swept and mopped. I wiped out every drawer and cabinet on the left side on Saturday. On Sunday, January 7, 2013, my husband went through the kitchen to make sure everything was wiped down. He opened one of the drawers on the right side (the side which I had not gotten to) and found a PILE of dead roaches. i have attached the photos.
We were charged a MOVE OUT, DEEP CLEAN and this is what we got. The work was way below average, no care in the results and shows absolute laziness. We would have paid any amount as long as the condo was cleaned the right away. We were specific and upfront of what we wanted in a MOVE OUT, DEEP CLEAN.
I texted Ray (the person who I have been dealing with) after we found the cabinet with the pile of dead roaches and he never responded. I sent him the photos that we had taken, too. Most reputable businesses who care about their customers would have called immediately and addressed the concern. Most businesses would offer a second chance or some kind of refund. Ray never acknowledged the text message.
Unfortunately, this company was the first to return my phone call. I called five companies who called me, but I had already scheduled with Wowzser. We will not use this company again and we definitely do not recommend them. We feel their work is dishonest, lacks attention and with all the other reputable housecleaning services out there, this is one you should avoid.

Today was only day 1 with this service, but the job they did is excellent. They went above and beyond.

This cleaning service is awesome. I have been using them for a year now to clean my apartment and they always do a great job. They are extremely professional, on-​time and flexible with my work schedule. I have recommended them to 5 of my friends, and I will continue to refer them to anyone who ask.
