Very impressive service, quick response (1 hour) knowledgeable and confident. The truck and equipment was in organized fashion with great teamwork, and the prices were very very fair. Both Jim and his son worked together /​all business, they were respectful in not leaving any messes and hosed up leaving my yard in better condition when they arrived. They cored through a backyard fireplace to allow ventilation, not an easy task, however they have all the right tools and experience to manage any job! I’ve read two of the negative responses listed here, NO WAY! The problem most likely was the homeowner who is one that never can be pleased and is a complainer not matter what. Jim called me right away to discuss our job, and even though it was a small area of our patio at our townhome that needed to be removed (many companies don’t want to waste their time on small jobs!) he gave me an estimate of charges, after sending him pics, and within 3 days, he and his son arrived at our home and did EXACTLY what we needed done within a few hours. Jim is very professional and my husband and I were so happy with his work and would recommend them in a heartbeat!

What amazing service — and in my opinion, you won’t find better
Jim and his son showed up on time (sometimes a novel concept); worked hard; and did a fantastic job. We had two sets of sliding glass doors removed and new channels had to be cut in the concrete slab in preparation for the new ‘window walls’. It was challenging work and only a skilled craftsman could have accomplished the job — Jim was definitely the man (and company) to do the work.
Jim and his son conducted themselves as professionals and were a pleasure to work with. Any we have future drilling or concrete sawing required — we would definitely have the Todd men back.

I called these guys to do concrete cutting. Jim Todd’s only focus is how much he’s going to get paid and how quickly he can get paid. He thinks that showing up early is better than showing up on time. He charged me $ 600 and was on the job maybe two hours. His son caused damage to the property, cutting through a clean-​out in the driveway. My call from Jim was «I got to get out of here, I’ve been here long enough. I need to get paid. It’s just a little trap, I want to get out of here». Not only did he not take responsibility for the damage caused, he made light of it.
Todd coring is an embarrassment to the construction industry. I will be contacting the Contractors State License Board to file an official complaint.

The first and last time I use this company to core curbs for me, I admit he did show up when he said he would give or take an hour… however extremely rude first thing he does is kick my tools out of the way instead of asking me to move them, then grabs a pice of drain pipe off my truck for the job that he should have been prepared to do for the price he was charging me. Then tells me that he doesn’t connect the drain that I had ran to the curb! When he was finished he demanded that I paid him in cash. Very un professional, I will wait the extra day for my usual guy from now on who charges half the price and does twice the work…

I had a challenging drainage issue that required core drilling through a retaining wall and lining it up directly with a current drain pipe. Jim came out and was dead on for both holes. He was done in two hours! I appreciated his professionalism and speed of service.

These guys are AWESOME!!! I had waited for two months for my regular contractor to get this job done. I got tired of waiting and called Todd’s Core Drilling on a Monday to have a drain line run from the side yard to the curb. They were out to my property by that Wednesday. They dug the trench, cored the curb, ran the pipe under the sidewalk, and covered everything back up. The job was completed in 30 minutes. No muss, no fuss. They even squeezed me in after they had already worked a 12 hour day. Fast, highly efficient, affordable, and they show up when they say. I can’t recommend these guys enough! Thank you Jim!!!

Todd and Craigy arrived on time and did a bang up job. Left the place clean and all the work was done to perfection. They cored the curb and cut a 4X5 area of slab to get to a leaky pipe. I would highly recommend them.

My husband wanted some concrete removed in our patio, and also removal of the old-​stone on our fireplace in the living room. After checking the Internet my husband came across good reviews for Todd’s Core Drilling & Sawing.

Jim Todd called him back. A decent price was quoted for the patio, and a couple hours later Jim’s son, Kreger showed up and deftly handled the job. The work – IMPRESSIVE AND CLEAN.
Later that day, Jim stopped by to assess the fireplace. There was no hemming or hawing, he quoted a fair price and assured my husband they could do it. Jim called my husband earlier today (Thursday July 31), and a couple hours ago, Jim and Kreger showed up, and made quick removal of the cemented slabs of stones in the fireplace. This father and son, Super-​Duo know their stuff!
IN A NUTSHELL:
1. The Todd’s PHONE YOU BACK. Unlike so many ‘others’ who say one thing and then leave you high and dry, and waiting for a phone call that SOMEHOW never materializes.
2. They HONOR the fair prices they quote. If the job may run into an unforeseen glitch, then Jim is honest ahead of time (with the cost), and we knew this going in with the fireplace. We weren’t certain if there was a solid block of cement under the top step or if the original builder of the house laid stone on top of stone – which they did.
3. They are fast-​consummate professionals and polite to boot.
4. They do their best to keep the mess down to a minimum, in addition to being extremely careful not to destroy walls, etc., while working.
We would gladly recommend them to our friends and neighbors. And we know who to call back, if we need something done down the road.

These guys were great, they are a father and son TEAM. They where early and got done in 25 minutes. I wanted a curb core for a drainage system at my house and at a certain angle and they did a perfect job. I got three estimates and they were by far the cheapest. If I ever need or if my friends need anything to do with cutting or coring these are the guys to call.

Great job, and oh so quick. We needed two drain holes through the curb and went looking on the internet for a company that was acceptable to the city. We found Todd’s and called the next morning. They got the permits and completed the job the same day. They even asked where to dump the muddy water, and I was starting my back yard landscaping so I was able to reuse the water. I am very pleased.
