Pretty much the only chain coffee place I go to because Peet’s has really good coffee in my opinion. I keep it simple and just get a hot coffee on most days. Staff is really friendly and since I’m a regular they pretty much know what I want once I walk in the door. It changes slightly but they get it right for the most part. Having mobile payment system such as Apple Pay also makes my life easier. I can just pay with my phone and not have to carry any cash or card on me.

Unlike Starbucks, there was no queue and their vanilla latte was pretty good and less sweet that Starbucks. So, I was happy to try it out !

Love coming here with my dad on the weekend for an almond milk latte! My friend came in with her dog(not knowing it wasn’t a dog friendly store) and the barista kindly asked if they could bring our drinks out to us outside because dogs were not allowed in the store — the staff is very friendly & sweet!

A bit of a small location & in an area that can be difficult to get in and out of due to being on a busy street. But at least there’s plenty of parking! One thing I thought was odd was that I always come to Peet’s to buy a tin of loose leaf tea. Whenever I do, I’ve always been offered a complementary tea or coffee. I’ve had this at locations throughout Orange & Los Angeles Counties as well as up in the Bay Area. Yet, at this location when they asked if I wanted one, I asked for an iced tea & they charged me for it. I mean, after all of the free ones I’ve been given I didn’t mind, I just found it odd that it was different here. Eh, no big deal.

Worst customer service. My boyfriend asked if they had a light brew coffee and was told by the barista that they only had the light roast to sell by the bag. Then she proceeded to say that the light roast was similar to the medium roast. We ordered our coffees and realized there was no creamer. I asked the male baristas, «Do you have creamer?» They responded with a snarky remark,“like the band?” I was then directed to where the barista was standing and he handed me he carton of half and half to pour into our coffees. Even though I’m not a fan of Starbucks, I’d much rather go there instead of dealing with these baristas again.

Peets is THE best coffee in all of California. When my middle sister was in the process of moving from Surf City, USA to the northeast, she desired to get short haired tresses HAIRDONE one more time by her preferred stylist on 17th street. I was a good sister, and I dropped her off here. The OC locals, you know how dire 17th street is. Drank up the PEETS while waiting. Little parking lot with(my favorite, yes!) FREE parking. A tad challenging to turn left into from 17th street. Just be patience. The sea of cars will eventually part for you. Rock solid PEETS. Note: At Peets, you do need to buy something new every few hours and not just hang using free Wi-Fi all day having bought just one cup of coffee. This also means, you have a hope of getting a seat because people will get up and leave periodically and not just hunker down for the afternoon.

I work from home so I usually spend the mornings working at home and the afternoons working at coffee shops. I decided to give Peet’s a try today and while the coffee was good, the wi-fi was atrocious. The worst part was that it worked intermittently and it was super slow so it wasn’t quite enough to get me to leave but basically just had me working in frustration for 3 – 4 hours haha. Luckily, my work wasn’t internet heavy today but still, why even offer wi-fi if it’s not gonna work? I talked to a couple regulars and they both brought their own hotspots because as they said, «the wi-fi sucks here» Guys figure it out or go Kean style and get rid of the wi-fi.
