Unpleasant visit at Drive Thru. 10⁄4(Corner of East 16th Ave and Greer St in Cordele, GA). While figuring out what to order(we have 2 children who have never been to Hardee’s and needed a little extra time to figure out what to get). Once we were ready, we tried communicating with the employee but kept hearing clicking sounds. So we assumed something was wrong with the intercom. Pulled up to window to order and at least 4 people were working within sight from the window. No one came to take our order, so we tapped the horn lightly to catch their attention. No one came to the window after a few minutes. Tried again with the horn. Nothing. And clearly they could hear us, one employee glanced our way. At that point we felt uncomfortable and didn’t want to risk getting a bad order as a result of a possibly rude crew today. As we left two other customers were ordering just fine via intercom and were being serviced at the window. I’ve never been turned down at a drive thru before, let alone for no reason at all. Normally, we(adults) love Hardee’s but this type of nonsense caused you to lose our service today, and most likely — we will not be returning to any Hardee’s for a good while, if at all.(Easy fix though, wrote a review and leave… Wendy’s got our business today)

Hardee’s is one of those places that you don’t see everywhere and this visit was prompted by their BACONVELVEETA® PATTYMELTDOWN commercial. Think Chopped applewood-smoked bacon, grilled onions and cheesy, melty Velveeta on a 100% Black Angus Beef Patty. In my opinion Velveeta is as close as liquid cheese as it gets and that’s good enough in my book. Not to be disappointed, it was a great burger and the fries were average. the restaurant looked clean and well run, plus it was less crowded than the neighboring Chick-Fil-A.
