Have posted a few reviews on Unilocal not sure why I’m bothering because most of them are taken down not exactly sure why I should bother or what anybody does but the business I’m trying to promote does a fantastic job framing and has done for years the five other people that I’ve discussed this with that have also please reviews on this business frames and things have had their their reviews taken down as well so I don’t really understand how Unilocal works apparently but I do know that frames and things is a great shop and Unilocal doesn’t even have a phone number to discuss why they keep taking down reviews that are not — seems to me they only take down the ones that are positive

The owner claims to have experience since 1982… if so, that doesn’t equate to good or solid experience. I brought in a print to frame matching a set that I already had, which I brought in for matching sake. I offered to allow them to take apart the already framed print to better match, but they claimed they could do so without taking it apart. When I went to pick it up 3 weeks later, they had a completely wrong mat on the outside, so they then changed it to magically match. Of course, I knew when they presented their finished product the second time that it still didn’t match. Unfortunately I did not bring the original back with me to demonstrate this. As expected, the mats were no where close to matching when I arrived home and their backing was extremely flimsy.
If you have low expectations, use this shop and their work will suffice. However, if you are accustomed to quality work, go to Austin.
