I love Concord’s Farmers market. I believe in supporting local farmers oppose to big supermarkets. Most produce here is organic. Apples are not coated in shiny wax but picked straight from the tree. They are not shiny looking like those in a supermarket but at least you are not getting bunch of chemicals, pesticides, GMO’s and toxins into your body. It starts every Tuesday all year around at 10:00am and ends at 2:00pm. I wish it was till later sometimes as it can be challenging to get there in those 4hrs. Parking is not bad. There are 2 big garages — both free! And you usually get lucky with a space on the street as people come and go. I love they have crepes and gluten free options. You can also bring your kitchen knife’s and get them sharpened. They have lots of yummy foods. Fresh breads, cheese, humus, flowers, popcorn, berries, eggs, fruits & veggies, sweets, honey, balsamic vinegars and oils, soaps, fresh made salads and other healthy options. Park is filled with moms and kids so it can be loud at times. I usually bring my own bag and stuff everything in. Otherwise you will have to carry everything in those cheap plastic bags which can break easily. Do not park in the Bank of America parking garage. They will give you ticket. I’m not sure if this place is cheaper than supermarkets. You pay between $ 2 to $ 10 at each stand but you are for sure getting less toxic produce. Let’s support our local farmers!!!
