I just called Carpeteria to inquire about a price on a carpet after having a bad expirience with another company and their install. I told the woman I spoke with that we were going to be issued a refund from the first company and I was looking to have the same carpet installed as long as they could match the price. The woman on the phone then told me «wow, well you see this is already a big red flag for me. All you’re doing is price shopping»(well yes but is that illegal?)… basically she was telling me she didn’t want my business. She just lost a very easy sale. All she needed to do was tell me what their price per sq ft. was, or even just tell me about their install process, customer service, etc. and I would have purchased over 1,000 sq ft of carpet. If this phone call was any indication of their customer service, stay far far away!

Sales person was difficult to work with to the point of being offensive and abusive. We will never attempt to do business with this company again.

I recently purchased an area rug after many hours of searching. Found one I thought would work but didn’t go back to purchase until a week later. Faye, the sales person was very helpful and knowledgable but never pushy or aggressive. I so appreciated that type of salesmanship I would highly recommend the store, their selection of products and most of all, they great sales style. happy in pleasant hill!
