I went in for a the norvelle spray tan yesterday, which is what I usually get when I’m there. My tan is always smooth & even. The staff is always so nice & friendly. I happen to forget my hair tie yesterday & the girl behind the counter gave me one of hers. Its something so little, but so sweet that makes you feel good when someone goes out of their way to be kind. I highly recommend this place.

I Come Here Pretty Close To Every Day!
Most Of The Staff Is Very Nice And Friendly.
I Would Think It Would Be Smart And Safe If There Is Always Two Workers On Staff At All Times. For One Person To Be There Alone, To Much For One Person. Especially That The Nice Weather Is Rolling In. Between Setting Up The Customers, Cleaning The Beds And Stand Ups And Cleaning The Bathroom, Which Needs Some Attention! And Taking Care Of The Laundry (Towels) … I Always Know When There Is One Person On Board, Either The Front Desk Is Empty, Bcause There Doing A Thousand Things.
And I Think Its Not Safe For Anyone To Work Alone, Not These Days!
For The $$$$ This Place Makes,
It Totally Needs A Serious Make Over.

ive gone to many tanning salons and have had great experience except for this one. i walked in and the workers were not welcoming. I tried signing up for only 1 month since i was going to be going away, so i wanted to get the cheapest package, according to the girl that worked there she said that the cheapest package were cheap beds and they would burn my skin… i didnt comprehend if she was trying to not sell me the service or what. i ended up getting the cheapest package, my skin was totally fine once my month finished.
The place needs a make over, the beds are old and they smell. speakers are broken in majority of the rooms.

I am a huge fan of Beach Bum Tanning and have been tanning with this company for as long as I could remember. Beach Bum is high quality and they are known for their friendly staff. HOWEVER, when me and my friend were in Commack we decided to tan at this location. The lady put me on a bed that I had never used before and I wasnt able to turn it on… After the third time trying to get it on she told me that if I wasnt able to get it on the next time she would cancel the session and still charge me. All I wanted her to do was to go to the room and simply show me how to turn the bed on, but she refused. Each time I went up to the front desk after I wasnt able to get it on, I had to wait nearly 5 minutes because she was either outside smoking a cigarette or to busy in the back doing god knows what. I love beach bum but my experience at this particular location was horrendous!

The staff is always very informative, patient and friendly. We’ve been customers for a while and will continue to be. Paul and Angie were so helpful describing the new Norvel spray tan to my daughter and I. It went so smoothly and both of us LOVED the results!!! This location in Commack Rocks! Keep it up guys – great job!

I love this place! I go here all the time. It is clean — the people are friendly and the mystic is perfect for me! Can’t imagine why anyone would give this place a negative review. Who cares if young people work here!!! They are awesome! God I hate whiners!

I will not be going back. Dirty beds. Broken speakers and fans. Rude customer service. Guess that’s what you get for the price of a chain establishment run by teenagers.

My third positive experience getting an airbrush tan at this location. Want to shout out Ella this time — very personable and friendly airbrush artist and mixed a very natural «beach glow» for me. (The downside to Beach Bum locations is that one session costs $ 60.)
