Motel 6

After reading the reviews and actually staying here, I can vouch that my experience wasn’t the same as others. There were no roaches, no bugs, no frayed wires going into the electric socket, although there was a prong stuck in one of them. TV reception was fuzzy, sheets were a little stained, but it really was fine. It wasn’t gross. The floors were a tad dirty but honestly, this isn’t the Hyatt or the Hilton, and the evening rate was good and cheap. The staff was very friendly. Great place to crash for the night on the cheap.

Cockroaches. Non-​working wifi. Loud train every 15 minutes.

A complete DUMP… Worse than the TRAVELODGE… Only stay here if you plan to drink in Columbus and just want to crash SHIT, SHOWER, AND SHAVE!!!

This place is super shady inside and out. The outside of the place smelled of cigarette smoke and inside the room wasn’t much better with it’s musk smell that rivaled public restrooms. TV was ancient, bathroom was small an outdated, paper-​thin scratchy towels. Air conditioning barely worked the floors weren’t carpet they were what looked like wall paper on the floor.
Walls were super thin all I could hear all night was the cars and crickets outside and when my neighbors used there bathroom. (Yuck) No desk to sit at with your computer and there free WiFi was incredibly slow.
Lets see what else… oh yes the door stuck, one of the outlets didn’t have a faceplate (extreme safety hazard), one of the beds’ sheets had a cigarette burn through them. 2 of the 3 lamp shades were broken… the only thing that was new in the entire place was poorly installed security camera’s in the hallways. (Guess there is a crime problem here since everything in the room was bolted down)
Needless to say everyone who works here should not have a job, their customer service skills were severely lacking. The guy at the front desk only made eye contact with me once, the rest of the time he was watching some Indian soap opera on the TV…
So in conclusion stay anywhere but here.
