A few things prompted this review. Outlined below: 1) THEYWEREOPENAT8PMONTHANKSGIVING. 2) This carryout now offers growler fills, which wouldn’t be that thrilling except they give you a FREEBOXOFFIREWOOD with every growler fill. 3) Overall, selection is pretty decent. Lots of local and craft options. Plus, the guy that owns it seems pretty genuine and nice.

This place is great. Great selection of microbrews with a many hard to find ones(Wittekerke in cans). Pretty decent wine selection. Prices are in line. The owner/operator is a super nice guy who loves to chat. Great place to have in the neighborhood. Don’t judge a book by it’s cover.

«Going to the corner store!» These are the words uttered in my house on a regular basis. When I first entered this store I was flabbergasted by the selection inside. Beer, red wine, white wine, champagne, a small selection of chips and bar snack. It’s the perfect place to pick up your old favorite or try something new. The prices are about the same as any other store in the vicinity and it’s so convenient if you live in the Grandview area.

One might think from the exterior that Boulevard Carryout has coolers full of Natty Light and Boone’s Farm. On the contrary it’s full of hundreds of bottles of wine and a half-dozen coolers full of anything but cheap domestics. I’ve been here on many occasions ranging from picking up a bottle of wine for dinner to grabbing a case of fancy beers for a cookout. They’ve got it all. The guys behind the counter are typically pretty helpful and you can get out of here with what you need in less than 10 minutes. One negative is their prices seem to be a little on the high side; although for as much time as you save getting in and out with what you need, I don’t mind spending an extra dollar or two. Time is money after all.

I typically feel very comfortable here. They have a great selection of both wine and beer, and it is reasonably priced. I stop for different things all the time. Sometimes I’m looking for beer, other times, a higher end bottle of wine. A few of the employees are great. Two days ago, however, I went in to pick up a very cheap bottle of cabernet to cook with. I grabbed one, took it to the counter and the gentleman recommended a french wine that he claimed was marked down from 23 dollars to 9.99. He said It was excellent. His exact words: «It tastes like a 40 dollar bottle of wine.» I asked why they marked it down, and he said they were just trying to move them out. I took his suggestion and purchased both. I tasted his recommendation when I got home, and not only was it a terrible, but when I googled it the results showed that it is a $ 7.98 bottle of wine. I am not sure why he chose to mislead me, but I am very offended. I can only assume it is because I am a younger woman, and my initial purchase may have lead him to believe I didn’t know anything about wine. I can’t say I wont go back, because it’s location is very convenient, several of the other employees are truly great, and they have a very nice selection, but I definitely wont ask for or take any more suggestions.

My favorite carryout in Grandview, located right down the street I can always count on Boulevard to meet any of my last minute alcohol needs. The wine selection is wonderful, much more than you would expect, the beer selection is just as good, with the even the non-standard beer kept cold. Boulevard does have limited amount of snacks and pop but if that’s all you need I would stop somewhere but if you need beer or any type of wine this should be your one stop shop.

Perfect location! Right a five points intersection: 3rd Ave., Northwest Blvd., and the little street that could easily be confused for an alley. When you walk in and you can expect the typical carryout item: Beer-in a case, or individual bottles, chilled or room temperature. Wine-chilled, room temperature, red white, single servings, party bottles, high end or weekday tastes. Liquor-it’s not a liquor store, but they have the essentials, vodka, tequlia, rum, cream liquors, mixers and even a few single servings. Snacks-check. They have snacks. Chips, nuts, jerkey. Don’t expect quality here people. Unless it’s air tight, it will be stale(read: the snacks at the check-out are stale). The employees are awesome! SUPER nice. Say hi, smile, be cool and they’ll love you!

This gorgeous establishment(okay. kidding) located on the corner of 3rd and Northwest is such a gem! I am always greeted with an enthusiastic hello and the small talk is actually enjoyable. Along with the service, the beer selection is top notch. They carry an incredible amount of imported beers that are super hard to find and is quite impressive. The only con to that is that it leaves me standing there in those cramped quarters for double the time I intended due to indecision. Haha. Not a bad thing but certainly a clever, albeit unintentional marketing strategy. Once I almost had a heart attack because I didn’t see my Strongbow but worry not– Ali came to the rescue with his supply located in the back. Ask and ye shall find. Speaking of finding, you will be pleasantly surprised to find Bells, Unibroue, Anderson Valley, GLBC, FFF, Left Hand, New Holland, Arcadia, Stoudt’s, Avery, Chimay, Ayinger, Stone, Bitburger, DFH, Sammy Smith’s, Abita, Bison, Sierra Nevada, Buckeye Brewing Co. and CBC just to name a few. They also are really good at keeping seasonal beers on hand. It’s almost time to break out the pumpkin beer folks!
