Sushi bars were empty when my friends and me were there at Sat 8:05PM !This is not a buffet at all!Never got refilled and plates cleaned!Serves just stood there or watching people eating or watching their own phones!and what the most importance is Do Not Spend YOUR money without being apperciated!Management do not take care customers at all!She do not understand English!Never come back again:(

To say that I was disappointed would be an understatement. Arrange for a very important family gathering where we reserved a room, only to come and our room had been given away. They gave us a subpar room where they we felt like packed sardines. Mistakes happen. However, the service was horrible. Most of us never got a drink, or a refill. Those that did just settled for whatever she brought to the table. When it was time to pay she gave credit cards to whoever…(glad we were family)…When ll this brought to the managers attention, he gave a % discount but then added a mandatory 18% tip. HORRIBLEHORRIBLEEXPERIENCE!!! I left hungry.

Okay… if you are into bland food in large amounts at a high price this is the place for you. Here is the problem. When you serve over 100 types of cuisine there is absolutely no way of focusing on the quality because you are too focused on the quantity. The sushi bar is below par. Not the sushi makers fault… can’t serve a good product when you are given crap to work with. The tip jar threw me a little at the sushi bar. Raise the rate at which you pay them. There is no direction at the buffet. You have people starting on both ends… highly aggrevating. I go to a Chinese buffet to eat Chinese food… not cajun, American, Italian and chinese.

When we left the we noticed the door is always opened and we wondered why and I read the rating and they had a B. The food is usually always good but it can be cold sometimes and the food is good but they need to fix that B rating

Nice and clean. Food is also good and fair price. Very good selections to choose from even in week days. I haven’t try yet weekend.

We went by here today for lunch. What was a good buffet, has gone downhill. All of the food we tried was just bland and cold. The hibachi grill is not a good as it once was. Also, when we left, we noticed they had a C rating on the door. Just don’t go here.

I wasn’t impressed one bit. The sushi was so-so. Everything else just o.k. I really don’t see myself jumping hurdles to get back here… Waitress doesn’t understand my English(sighs)… Oh yea hibachi grill was decent I suppose.

Not bad for a buffet. Service is good for buffet service. I do like the unlimited sushi aspect at this restaurant, always fresh and plenty to choose from. I wish the edamame was served warm instead of cold, but I can understand why. Several different items to choose from. Some great untraditional items including beef carving station. Don’t forget the hibachi aspect included free of charge. Only reason that it is not 5 stars is that some items do not look so fresh on a day-to-day basis; really have to arrive on the perfect day to get the shrimp or crawfish.

Don’t eat here! They got a C on the restaurant report card! Beware! Flaming Grill, 115 Afton Ct., Columbia — 74 C — Fly strips found near the food prep area and where clean dishes are stacked — Employees not washing hands between points of contamination or changing of tasks. — Black growth noted in cutting board grooves — Follow up scheduled next week

Arrived to a clean restaurant and was seated and treated very nicely. The sushi was great. The cook was making it fresh. Lots to choose from. There’s a big selection of all food. I would give it 5 stars but the boiled shrimp was soft and oysters dry and not alot to choose from. As far as buffets go you can’t expect much more. $ 10.99 and $ 5.99 extra for a pound which is 2 crab leg clusters. The crab was just ok. Over very happy and would go back.

Food was cold and not much variety. Expected more due to the reviews. Nonetheless, I won’t be going back. Don’t believe the hype.

I’m giving this place four stars mostly for atmosphere. First of all, when you drive up there is some magnificent stucco art on the front. There’s also a light that projects flaming Grill onto the concrete below. Awesome entrance with lots of kitschy fun decorations. The food is presented very well, and it’s a very attractive buffet layout. There is a huge selection. It’s clean and well lit, and organized well. There is hibachi, sushi, a chocolate fountain crawfish — all kinds of things. Where it kind of falls flat, is the actual quality of the food. Now, buffets are not typically the highlight of any cuisine, so it is what it is! It is not cheap either. I really enjoyed it though and left satisfied. It’s not the best Chinese buffet I’ve ever been to but it’s definitely good at what it does and what it aims to do. I’ll be back mostly because I really enjoyed how it looked, as shallow as that may be. It was fun and felt like a theme park! I even rubbed Mark Antony’s bust’s chest!

Average at best. Big selection, quality of the food was low. There was very little taste most of the food. On a Saturday night they did not keep up with the food on the buffet. Service was just OK.

I have been to a lot of buffets in my time and this was great. It was clean, service on point, and food was fresh. Very worth the time to eat.

If you are just into presentation this place is for you, but anyone who thinks this place has awesome food must have not been to a good restaurant/buffet in their lives!

Okay, so while I find buffets absolutely repulsive, unless it’s the Ritz Carlton buffet, this establishment isn’t too bad. That is why I am giving it four stars. It’s better than gross places like Ryan’s. While I would recommend staying away from the sushi bar for obvious reasons, their Chinese food and hibachi are pretty decent for the price. It’s like cheap takeout, just a little bit better quality wise. Their dessert bar also has a fun little chocolate fountain you can dip fruits and marshmallows in. The price is also VERY cheap. So if you’re in a time crunch or are trying to pinch pennies and save money, this is the place to go. An added bonus is that it’s close to Carmike theaters, if you’re looking to catch a bite to eat before a movie.

This is an average buffet at best. The atmosphere is pretty. The food was ok but the service was very poor. Was nothing exclusive or special here. I had the urge for seafood but found only the typical fried shrimp, baked salmon soaked in sauce, etc. This place is all about eating your food and leaving. The service here was impersonal and severely lacking and the servers seemed more concerned about cleaning up to leave than refilling empty glasses and show no concern to providing good customer service. I don’t plan on coming back, especially considering that there are plenty of better options.

I had really high hopes but this place did not exceed my experience at any other buffet in town. The sushi was probably the best part. The rest of the buffet was your run of the mill fare, and a lot seemed like it had been reheated. At $ 10.99 for dinner, the price is reasonable, and you can find coupons in your local newspaper insert. I probably won’t be back anytime soon… just nothing that sets it apart from the hordes of other Chinese buffets in town.
