I have been there twice and Brittany is awesome! She takes her time discussing different options and will explain the process as well as the end result. She is also hilarious! I was worried about my hair getting messed up because I was laughing so hard while she was cutting! No worries though Brittany is a pro. The other stylists seem very friendly as well.

I got the perfect ombré and new cut for summer today! They are re designing the inside and right when I thought it couldn’t get much cuter! They also custom made me a conditioner to tame my wild and crazy curls! Talk about customer service!

Amazing salon! I go here while I’m away at college and usually request either Jenna or Kelly. Both girls are absolutely sweet, professional, and down to earth. I usually get a trim and a full set of highlights and a few low lights. Prices are low/​average and the products they sell are to die for! I just recently bought a Wet Brush and a bottle of Kenra Blow Dry Spray. Obsessed!

I can’t say enough good things about this Salon.
I went for the first time last night. New client, never met anyone here before as well as I had a lot of fear based on I have been going to the same stylist for many years.
I explained my situation and what I was looking for through email, and they partnered me up with Paige. I couldn’t be more happy about the way my hair looks, feels and the cut. We did a highlight, low light, trim and also a blow out. It was worth every penny and it looks amazing. I’ve also scheduled my next appointment in 3 months.
My day just started and I’ve already received 4 – 5 compliments on my hair color, cut and health.

Don’t go anywhere else for color. I completely fried my hair with bleach and after 11 years of dyeing my hair blonde, they brought my hair back to feeling healthy and looking a natural warm brown in one visit. Trust them!

We had a fantastic time at Mint Hair Studio for my August wedding! I was referred to Mint after a particularly bad trial at Camelot Salons and after a wonderful hair and makeup trial I made the switch! Kelly was my stylist and did a fantastic job. We were able to get the studio to ourselves for the morning and brought in snacks and mimosas and had a blast the morning of the wedding. All of my bridesmaids hair turned out fabulous and the makeup was flawless. The best part was that the day was wretchedly humid and everyones hair and makeup survived the day despite ridiculous amounts of sweating! Mint went above and beyond to make it a fun experience for my bridal party!

I had such high hopes for this salon. They were dashed, almost instantly.
Monday: When I called for an appointment, I requested a balayage service. I called on a Monday afternoon to schedule for the upcoming Friday. I was asked if I wanted a haircut also and I declined.
Thursday: Upon further thought, I figured — sure, I’ll splurge and get a hair cut also. I felt really guilty about changing my appointment specs on such late notice but I called anyway and figured the worst they could tell me was that no, they couldn’t accommodate. Lucky me, however, they could. The girl I spoke with asked if I could come in a half hour early («the earlier the better»). I said of course, not a problem. She then told me I might not be able to be attended to right away. ??? I didn’t understand why I would be asked to come in early if only to sit around and wait. Nonetheless, I agreed and was pretty excited for my new hairstyle!
Friday: The salon was super easy to get to, with ample street parking.
When I walked into Mint, it was completely empty. (I guess I was expecting it to be busier.) No receptionist, no stylists, not a soul. There was a bell on the door which I guess alerted the girls in the back and Kelly came out a few moments later. I introduced myself, and she asked me what I was here for, what I wanted to have done. For clarification, I suppose. I had a few reference pictures, for both color and cut, which I showed her. She said ok and went to the back room to mix up the solution.
The painting part of the balayage took under a half hour… If even that long. Her technique was good, using the cotton balls and plastic wrap instead of foil (a staple of the balayage).
I honestly couldn’t tell a difference in my color except for a bright streak of caramel blonde on the left side of my grown-​out bangs. She barely even trimmed my hair (even though I had requested angles to even out my bangs) and then blew my hair dry.
I had no idea what to expect but I could barely see a color difference. I know this technique is supposed to be natural but to me it seemed almost nonexistent. She told me the ends would lighten up even more and that if they were too light, to come back and she would darken them for me.
The girl at the counter offered me a very stiff, forced «your hair looks nice» compliment when I went up to pay. I’m not sure entirely what I was charged for, as my total only came to $ 100. Kelly told the girl at the counter to charge me for a «baby balayage» — probably because my hair really had not had anything noticeable done to it. My hair felt amazing and smooth but I was already disappointed with the less-​than-​dramatic change. I tipped Kelly 20% even though I wasn’t satisfied.
I debated about a week on writing this review because I wanted to give myself time to adjust to the new hair before I fully judged it. But then I started getting comments from friends and coworkers on how my hair seemed green. Not cool. If I want my hair green, it’s going to be green. I’ve done it before. I was aiming for a nice subtle sun kissed look and I didn’t get anywhere close to it! I was also planning to spend whatever amount of money necessary to achieve it.
I’ve made another appointment with another salon to fix whatever it is that happened to my hair. I was so excited to give Mint a try… But I am so disappointed with how my hair looks. The girls all seemed really nice but I will most certainly not be returning.

My first time at Mint, and it most definitely will not be my last! I had a great experience with Kelly, owner and master stylist extraordinaire! I requested to chop off my hair for a donation and finish with a Halle Berry-​esque hair-​cut. Kelly gave me the edgy yet still corporate America acceptable look. Lol. I love the layers, textures, and volume in my hair, which is pretty much stick straight. A little bubblegum smelling pomade and voila, instant style. Run to Mint and have them kick it up a notch for you! Hug your stylist for she/​he is saving all the suburban moms from soccer mom syndrome!

I moved back from Cali (and left a stylist that I had seen for 8 years) two years ago and searched high & low to find someone that could cut & color (highlights, base & toner) my thick and occasionally unruly hair. Kelly is a true pro at what she does with my hair. It’s long, naturally wavy and very thick. She tames my main and did wonders with the color. I highly recommend coming to Mint Hair Studio!

I went to Mint because of the great reviews here on Unilocal.I have tried every hair salon within a 15 mile radius of Phoenixville and Mint is the best. I went to Kelly, but watching the other stylists work, I saw that they were all very talented. I have very difficult hair and I have never been so happy with a cut as I am with my last cut from Mint. Love it.

I have been going to Mint Hair Studio since the day it opened (literally) and have been having my hair cut and colored by Kelly even before she opened Mint. The salon is lovely and the people there are very friendly and helpful. Kelly is incredibly talented. She colors and cuts my hair better than anyone ever has and her prices are affordable. My daughter (19) and son (12) also get their hair cut by Kelly.
Kelly and Paige did the hair and makeup of my daughter and her friends for both their junior and senior proms and they were gorgeous! They really made it a special day for the girls. I highly recommend everyone at Mint Hair Studio!

There is no doubt that Mint is the salon you have been searching for! Artful décor, intimate size, and personable staff. The stylists are skilled and professional. I have never left disappointed or needing a single hair corrected. And for my fellow curly girls out there, they nail it EVERY time. So when it comes to hair, trust me ladies Mint is the real deal.

Love Mint! The staff is so nice and accomodating. Paige does an awesome job on my hair (cut, color and blow outs). I also just recently used Jazmin for makeup before my bridal shower and received glowing reviews from friends and family.

Excellent service and very affordable! I was in town for a wedding and my friend recommended I see «her girl» Jenna for an emergency color and blow out. Everyone there was attentive, courteous, and talented. She mixed up the perfect color for me — a complete stranger — and then did one of the best blow outs I’ve ever gotten. I got so many compliments at the wedding and did not have to break the bank to do it. I plan on going back the next time I’m in town.

I have gotten the best cut and color I’ve ever had from Kelly! She knows her stuff, has a great sense of style and is very talented at what she does. Each time, I haven’t had a haircut or color picked out and Kelly worked her magic to flatter my face and coloring.
Mint hair studio is great, I can’t recommend them enough.

Kelly has been doing my hair for the past 5 years and I will follow her wherever she goes! Last time she did my hair she did Ombré — I’ve never gotten so many compliments before. She has a great eye for color as well. A great timeless cut or super stylish and edgy. She does it all! Love her!
