Andrea saved my hair life! I tried to take out my own weave and ended up cutting my own hair. So halfway through I started looking for a salon to take out my weave and style my hair. Andrea was able to see me that evening. She was welcoming and was able to tame my crazy hair. I would definitely recommend her to my friends.

I had a very bad experience at the salon. Unfortunately, I don’t think everyone is licensed. And a bad color ended up in here breakage and a poor response from the owner.

I absolutely love Andrea’s Hair Salon and I’ve recommended all my family and friends who also love it and thank me for recommending them. She works so well with natural hair. My hair grows so fast after her trims and she maintains my hair healthy all the time. She knows what’s best for all kinds of hair and how to treat damaged hair. This is the only salon I’ve ever gone to that doesn’t take 3 hours to finish my hair, even when it’s busy they still manage to get you in and out and looking great. I would never go anywhere else and no one but Yohan is allowed to cut my sons hair.

Okay, so let me start off with the fact that I’m 16 and I am Puerto Rican and Black… But I have nappy hair and I’m tender-headed from having many different types of braids for about 2 years straight. I haven’t been to a salon in 8 years because I had a very bad experience. So here’s how my day went at Andrea’s: *Made an appointment for 11am the morning of my appointment *Walked in at 10:45am *A lady began washing my hair at 10:50am *P.S. the shampoo and conditioner smells soooo good *While she was washing my hair, she detangled it with a comb(a little rough but hey! The naps were real) *She told me to walk to the chair and sit down, then she began setting my hair with rollers *After, I was under a dryer for about 40 minutes *Then this is when it got a tad painful: *She took the rollers out and another lady blew my hair out *Just a warning: ITWASREALLYHOTAND I CRIED A LITTLE *but don’t let this scare you! It was my first time at a salon and it was worth it! *It was quite a fast process… About 20 minutes. *All together: arrived at 10:45am and left around 12:30pm

Andrea did a great job on my hair. Service was nice. I was greeted as soon as I walked in by her personally. I signed in and went straight to the back to begin the washing, etc. I was in the salon for 1 ½ hour(45 mins under the dryer was where my time was spent). I have NEVER been in and out that fast in any salon EVER. All in all I was satisfied with my first ever blow out and will be going back every week or two.

great hair fast. straight or curly. This is a typical Dominican salon. they have weekday specials that will save you some money. I was there on Friday and I was happy to see the barbers working it out. There were 2 barbers cutting people back to back. I usually walk in and can be seen right away or with a short wait.

Yohan B. is an excellent barber – he can be a bit rough but he makes up for it in speed and accuracy. I think he’s the only barber on staff, as their specialty is women’s hair. I can’t comment about their women’s hair services, but since it’s a true Dominican salon, I have no doubts that they’re experts. I see all kinds of women coming in for their hair.

This is a Dominican hair salon. This means that they specialize in the blowout hair straightening. The rates are as cheap as NYC– $ 35 and the quality is good. The only downside is that you have to plan on being there for 2 – 3 hours. I don’t think it would take that long if they were more organized, but I’ve found this pretty typical with most Dominican hair stylist/salons… They have 1 barber, but mostly they do women’s hair.
