Cool toy and game (and craft) shop; lots of variety, for all ages. From big ($ 500 Ferris wheel) to small (99 cent mini paint sets and 35 cent parachute men. Lots of fun, and even some educational, stuff!

Very cool store with lot’s of variety. They really have something for everybody and we probably spent a good hour or so just browsing through all of the cool stuff. Nice mix of newer toys and some old fashioned type toys. huge selection of board games, many of which I have never seen before. being a big kid myself and having 2 young daughters made this a pleasant surprise during our visit to Coeur D’Alene. Employees were friendly and displays were great!

We love going into figpickles, they have the greatest selection and we especially like that it is a local business. However, several times we have been in the store there is a young man who works there that will hover over us and take toys out of the kids hands and put them away. We are supervising our kids, it is not as if they are just roaming the store pulling toys off of the shelves. It really makes us uncomfortable and we sadly would rather take our business to a toy store where we feel our kids are welcome.

This place makes me miss Wiz Kids that used to be in Hayden, ID. Not friendly when dealing with refunds. My son had asked if a toy he was going to purchase did XYZ and was told «yes». When he opened the toy in the car and it did not do XYZ they would not refund his money because the package was opened. They also did not care that they were wrong about XYZ. That was a few years ago, hopefully they have gotten better.

Even as a fully grown adult I can’t get enough of this place! Everything is so fun. They have the newest & coolest along with all the old school classics everyone loves. The prices are right & all the staff are wonderful!

Figpickels is a place where nostalgia has never looked so appealing. It’s truly a toy store for both adults and children. The store itself is very visually pleasing, with an array of colors and designs. The staff is beyond friendly, as they should be, and very willing to help. It’s unlike big toy stores and has a home-​like feel to it. Great device and very well staffed.

Went to this store for the first time when we recently visited the Coeur d’Alene & Post Falls areas. We heard several raves & recommendations from local friends, and we didn’t leave empty-​handed. It was as described, and we look forward to visiting again on our next trip to N. Idaho. Our family loves and prefers learning and real toys that inspire education and creativity over what you typically find in the big-​box store toys, and Figpickles is that kind-​of store.

An absolute treasure in CDA. My kids ask me to go there just about everyday if we are coming into town. I view them as a sort of babysitter. I know I could drop my 2 kids there and have at least 3 hours :) just kidding. Everytime we walk in their eyes light up. So if your coming to CDA and have kids… worth the trip

Amazing toy store!
I read one of the less than favorable reviews about their prices being high. They are not as cheap as amazon but your kids don’t get to touch everything and spend time playing with all the toys on Amazon. I am fine paying a bit more here to keep them in CDA as my kids LOVE going there!

This is a MUST if you come this way– no matter what your age!
There is a junior carousel kiddies can ride on, and they can play among all the toys inside– the clerks are so friendly and will show you how everything works! Such unusual and superb selection of everything imaginable!

Absolutely love this place! It’s a must everytime my family and I go up to Idaho each summer. It reminds us a lot of our children’s book store back in San Diego
, where the service and atmosphere is the real reason you shop here. The employees reall KNOW what they are selling and will demonstrate how the toy works for you. Most of the toys are already on display somewhere in the store so you know what you are buying. Such a cute little place!

My son and I stop by here on a regular basis. It is a really a beautiful store and you are able to demo a large amount of the toys before you buy. They stock a lot of old school toys you don’t see in a lot of places these days as well as large amount of educational toys.

This store is absolutely amazing, there is so much to look at and you are like a kid in, well, a toy emporium! This place is really awesome for the kids because it is a really hands on place with some of the toys out in the open that kids/​adults can play with! The customer service is great, they greet you with a smile and answer all questions you have! When you walk into this store it is like walking into the movie «Mr. Magoriums Wonder Emporium,» it is simply AWESOME! The bathroom even has cool stuff going on… you walk in leave the light off and look up, they have a cool space theme!

Just try and be in a bad mood in this whimsical store. Here the employees are busy playing, but quick to share and help you find just what you weren’t looking for but delighted to own.
