Great service and food, was my first review. Unilocal says it’s too short. The food and service is excellent for a Denny’s. If you’re expecting a five star restaurant obviously this isn’t it.

I used to come here often and we always enjoyed the cheap kids night. When we first started coming in we always had good fast service the food was always good. Until the last few times we had gone. one time we waited over 45 minutes for our food and that was unacceptable when it was dead, I could hear it was a servers error and our food had been sitting in the window this whole time… the next time we went I had ordered mozzarella sticks and they brought them out with SPAGHETTISAUCE! there was meat in it! I asked for plain marinara sauce, she went back and said that this was the sauce they always serve with it. Called a manager over and she proceeded to tell me that I was wrong, that if I had ordered these before I would have gotten meat sauce. that no matter what Dennys I go to I would get meat sauce they just SKIM the sauce off the side of the pot and that is why I usually don’t get meat in it. 1. GROSS! 2. What would have happened if i was a vegetarian, cheese sticks look harmless but obviously they aren’t and 3. I don’t know ANYPLACE that gives MEAT sauce with cheese sticks but it was wrong on all levels. the manager said very gruff«so you don’t want them then?» I said no I would prefer not to eat them with meat sauce but…” before I could answer she had removed them from our table and thrown them away. I would have told her ranch would do just fine. we were ignored by the staff for the rest of the night. walked out saddened. This had been our go to Thursday night spot since we moved to town last year. We always tipped well even when I could tell it was the kitchen that was having trouble or if we got a new server. I confirmed my original thought when I called the Dennys on Horizon to see if they also serve meat sauce and the GM there said that was WAYWRONG and out of CORP protocol. we haven’t stepped foot in that Dennys since and I work next door at Murdochs. That’s okay I found Enzos pizza for my lunch hour needs. 2 stars because I had wonderful dining experiences in the past.

Can’t go wrong with breakfast here. Pancakes are always reliable. they have very good hash browns. The create your own slams let you really have a fun(and sometimes not very healthy breakfast). Prices are very good, espevially if you take advantage of their 2, 4, 6, 8 choices or their senior menu.

If you are from out of town and have eaten at other Denny’s then you already know its a quick fix for a decent meal, this dennys location is however just awful. I have eaten here 4 times each time with more regret than the last. Im not sure how anyone can write a positive review about this place unless they were paid. Honestly I really don’t know how they stay open except from what I’ve seen the locals here don’t actually know how bad some of these restaurants are. On average this location will serve you very poor food, the wait will be long, and the service VERY unproffesional. The last time I went we complained with good reason to the waiter and she talked to the manager, the manager a young latino woman, who didn’t even acknowledge our complaint but rang up our check, she shot a look that said«I couldn’t care less». The Truth is people if you’re not from around here I will explain because I have loved in this area almost a year now and most of the restaurants even big chains like Denny’s are not up to par with the rest of the world. The locals will tell you its great because they’ve never known anything else. There are a few little mom and pop type places in GJ that are pretty decent but you have to really be selective. If you really feel the need to eat at this Denny’s though the best advice I can give you is DONTDOIT.

Had a great breakfast. Not too bad and decent prices. Very friendly staff and clean restaurant. Hard to go wrong here.

Been here twice and both times I was satisfied with my service and food. I personally prefer this location rather than the one on Horizon Drive because of the friendlier staff. However, I still prefer IHOP or Village Inn

How can you screw up breakfast? Over easy eggs were over hard. Hash browns were burned!

Living in the area, my fiancée and I were excited to see a new chain restaurant. This location sprung up over the weekend it seemed like. Our first impression(on a Tuesday night at 7:00p) when we walked in was that of a hotel. Very new and clean, a feel of a typical diner, but newer. Our food we ordered was good, but all of it did not come out at the same time, in addition to the long wait. I ordered the cheesy chicken fried steak and my fiancée ordered a make your own combination. I had to ask for my toast and she had to ask for her fruit cup. These items arrived as we finished our meal. Slow service. As we were sitting and talking, we were forced to listened to another server chat and talk to the table next to us for a good 15 minutes. A conversation we really did not want to hear. «I’m stuck in the back section, I’ve only made $ 15 in tips, bla bla bla and on and on and on.» All the meanwhile, my empty Diet Coke is sitting on the end of the table ready for a refill. I know this location is new, I know that Denny’s just hired servers and are still in the training mode along with the kitchen. So I am giving them a lot of credit and the additional star in hopes service gets better. I’m not sure we plan to come back anyway. I think we just wanted to see what the new restaurant looked like. I hope things get better.
