My third or forth time eating Indian and have to say this was at the top!!! Asked for my meal with little heat until I get use the place so next time I will ask for a little bit more. I had a butter chicken and a vegetable dish that had spinach and chunks of cheese and they were great! Very pleasant owner and very much a family atmosphere as his son and I think wife were eating also. I thought the prices were very good this I bought two dishes and can’t wait to have left overs tomorrow for lunch. They also had a buffet but that is for lunch only which I normally do so I can try multiple item as I still do not know the dishes so need to brush up on my Indian or find a nice Indian gf.

Laziz is a bit of an odd spot. There is never anyone in the restaurant, but many people walk in and out for takeout. They bring Indian crackers and pickly salsa to the table to start, which is nice. The food in general is good and covers a decent variety that you would find at a typical Indian establishment. They also did a custom order for me because I was really wanting paneer tikka masala, but only chicken tikka masala was on the menu. Rice is served in large portions. The naan and roti are good. I could eat the garlic naan every day. The restaurant is not kept up very well. Wobbly tables and chairs and the owners child has been running through the restaurant every time I’ve been there. Not terrible, but sometimes I wished we just got takeout. Laziz is not top notch Indian food that you would find in a larger city, but it’s probably the best spot in the area if you have a craving.

I love Indian food and Laziz is nearby. I know that everyone can have a bad night(or 2) which is the only reason I tried it more than once. I’m perplexed that Laziz has so many 4&5 star reviews. Like another poster here I’m from D.C. where 5 star Indian restaurants abound. Food at Laziz is barely a 1 and the 3 times I’ve been there I endured long waits, rude to non existent service, and food that kept me up all night. Ayer several visits I came to the conclusion that the owner/staff do not like to serve women(I dined alone). Point taken — I will not return. The food is also over priced for the quality.

Food was good, people were very kind. Not necessarily the best Indian food I’ve ever had, but I’d go back.

We have been going to Laziz for years so I thought I would put in a review. We have tried most of the things on the menu and they are all pretty good but we always come back for the same two things. The butter chicken and the garlic Naan! We have had indian food at many locations and this is by far the best butter chicken anywhere. They have a nice buffet for lunch also that features it.

Really good food but had to wait awhile for stuff like drinks. It’s a small restaurant but I would go back there to eat.

Had the chicken tikka masala. It was good but the service could’ve been better. The pricing on the menu is a little high for similar type of restaurants that I’ve been to.

Went for the lunch buffet. Arrived at the restaurant at about 130. There were not many choices on the buffet. All that was on the buffet was naan, rice, Curry chicken, butter chicken, and tandoori chicken. The food was very bland and there wasn’t much of it on the buffet. The strip mall that it’s in is under construction, so they may not be putting out as much food. Overall I would not go back to eat at this restaurant.

This place is not good. I ordered chicken tikka masala and it was awful and bland! It had a weird flavor and was not spicy at all even though I ordered a medium spiciness! This is NOT authentic Indian food! Also The hostess took forever just to run my credit card even though I was just getting take out. Never coming back!

Indian food, yes. Authentic, no. It will never suffice a desi pallette. I just moved from LA and I will probably not visit here again. Service was fine(2 stars for that). I guess the point of the restaurant was to make money and not to serve good food.

We came in and hand Chicken Tandoori(a must!), garlic naan, and Chicken Tikka Masala and the food was soooooo goooooooood. The restaurant was quiet on a Wednesday night – maybe it draws a larger lunch crowd? At any rate, I’ll be back again for the eats.

I’ll never eat at this place again. It was small and dreary, the lunch buffet was tiny with barely a selection, and the host doesn’t interact with you at all. I can deal with all of these three things, but what I can’t deal with is the following: — The owner’s/employee’s kid running around screaming. — The owner’s/employee’s kid picking and digging on himself and then sticking his hand in the cucumber/tomato/vinegar salad. — A customer reusing dirty plates. — My water being refilled from a dirty pitcher. — Poorly seasoned food. — Hot kheer. Maybe they were having a bad day, you decide.

We came to try the buffet with friends and when I saw that buffet had only 5 items I decided to order. I ordered Full Laziz platter it was pretty good. We got chicken tandoori and chicken tikka, portions were big. Overall food is good. Service was bad thoe. I guess it’s their culture: our waiter didnt smile at all and wasn’t friendly.

Went in for a dinner of chicken curry and garlic naan. No veggies in the curry as the menu stated, rather just some breast chicken chunks drowning in curry sauce. Garlic naan had good flavor but was very fluffy. Flavor and heat was good, I just expected, well, more. I might go back and try again with a different dish, but I won’t be rushing in anytime soon.

I love Laziz. The palak paneer is perfect and creamy. The chana masala is spicy, rich and dreamy. The garlic naan will scare vampires away. The food is so good it will make you go cray. So hurry on over for Indian cuisine You’ll eat and you’ll eat until your plate is clean. This place is awesome. Don’t judge.

I’ve gotten take out orders from Laziz many times over the years and the food is always fabulous. I normally order the veggie samosas, which are fried hot and fresh with delicious sauce on the side as well as garlic naan and mild butter chicken. The naan is excellent and is always full of flavor but also nice and soft. The butter chicken is a very large portion and comes with a side of rice as well. I love the flavor of the butter chicken, theirs is one of the best I’ve ever had. I can’t say much about the service since I have never experienced a sit down meal here but no complaints with the take out so far. My only complaint is that they close from 2 — 5 daily. I realize it’s a cultural thing for them to close for an afternoon break, but the other day at 3:00 I wanted indian food like it was nobody’s business and they were closed. womp womp. Just keep that in mind before you go in the middle of the afternoon. I’d love to come here again and try the buffet and get an idea of the dine in experience here.

In a break from routine, we decided to take the advise of friends and tried Laziz. We were not disappointed! It’s in a strip center in the SW corner of Enterprise and McMullen-Booth, next to Emerald City Comics. We started with the Laziz Full Platter appetizer. It came with one huge samosa(which we halved) and lots of fried goodies. The most memorable was the onion bhaji; we could have eaten a big basket of those! Next we got the Katchumber salad which is a tomato, cucumber, cilantro salad that you squeeze lemon on. For a taste bud refresher, you nibble on it throughout the meal. For entrees, we got the Chicken Jalfrezi and the Shrimp Makhani. The chicken dish was full of diced chicken with assorted veggies in a spicy brown sauce. Delish! The Shrimp came in a bright red tomato sauce that was wonderful. We had gotten an order of garlic Naan to sop up all of the sauce. The service was efficient and polite. Considering that we eat as much as farm hands, we felt that we got a great meal for a fair price.

This was my first real Indian food adventure. I visited this restaurant with some of the members of an multi-cultural club I was president of. I tried many different types of curry dishes and desserts. I liked the food that was served here but I have a feeling there’s even better Indian dishes served elsewhere. The waiter was super nice though and helped us chose dishes wisely.
