Below average food from a limited menu. Nice staff and a pleasant enough setting.

It’s all organic and it serves hot food. Not very tasty, but healthy.

I brought my honey to Green Organix when they first opened(2 or 3 years ago) and was extremely pleased. Firstly, because a healthy restaurant/grocery store popped up near our beach condo that we frequent on vacations from Santa Monica, CA. The West Coast is much more health conscious. Especially, Santa Monica; there are at least 8 yoga studios on 2nd St. in a beach community that is only 8 square miles! Florida, in my opinion tends to be a little behind the times and does not offer as many healthy restaurants, or grocery stores to choose from. Secondly, because we enjoyed the yummiest gluten-free, free range/antibiotic free beef lasagne with a descent bottle of sulfate free wine at a great $! At least a year had gone by before returning with my sister. I was stoked to see that the menu had expanded. My sister, not such a health enthusiast, ordered the gluten-free Mac & Cheese. She was not impressed and I find Amy’s frozen version a hell of a lot more tasty. I had a Sloppy Joe with antibiotic free/free range beef on a gluten free bun, but there was hardly any beef and the bun was soggy. We then decided to erase the bad memories by ordering a fruit smoothie on the fly so that we could go to the beach condo and throw a shot of rum in it. A little controversial, I agree, but hey, it was her b-day! I let the server know that there was a sense of urgency and asked her to run my c.c. as another employee made the delicious fresh fruit smoothies. By the time we where out of there, and home, our smoothies where liquified. I emailed Green Organix wondering if the ownership had changed since my experience went from solid to liquified, no pun intended. The owner Larry was apologetic and invited me back in. Upon returning to FL, this time with my honey, we went and had the most divine experience! He had a Mediterranean Chicken dish after a Greek salad and enjoyed it down to the last bite. I ordered Tilapia w/lemon caper sauce over couscous w/mixed veggies and a side of spinach. My dinner was healthy and delicious. Taylor, our server was on her game and provided us with lovely service. Overall, it was worth giving it another shot. Everyone/place has good and bad days is my lesson reaffirmed by this experience. I will definitely recommend Green Organix to friends and family. Thank you Larry and his wife for bringing this healthy gem to Clearwater!

I wanted to try a place that served up some healthy and organic meals so I visited Green Organix. I had a good first experience and also had good fresh food. If you’re looking for a place that serves up some mean healthy food than this is a place to visit if you’re in Clearwater. I’m new to the whole vegan, organic and vegetarian food so I didn’t absolutely love the food but I did enjoy the food there. I tried their coconut water, bbq chicken quesadillas and portabella burger. All the food that came out of the kitchen all looks amazing. The service is a bit on the slow side but they are super friendly!

Great menu, healthy food, some hiccups with service. While staying at a hotel in Clearwater Beach, I was desperate for healthy takeout food. I was happy to find this place since it was a short drive away. My wife had the green cobb salad with chicken, which was excellent. I had the aloo matar, which was a bit bland(but I hadn’t really thought through the fact that it was vegan, so no butter, no cream, etc) but I was thrilled to eat brown rice and vegetables after a few days of eating unhealthy tourist food. When I arrived, the cook(who was new) had cooked the wrong salad, so I had to wait while they cooked the right one, and then I was rung up for the wrong bill, which I had to point out. So, they could work on the details. Overall, I was so happy to find this place while on vacation.

I wanted to like this place more than I did. The food was reasonably priced for being organic and humanely raised, but like other restaurants with a fresh organic or vegan theme, they just don’t deliver when it comes to flavor. I mean, it was OK, but nothing spectacular. I don’t know if they’re trying to play it safe, or letting the subtle flavors of the food do the talking, but the lack of spices used results in food that is bland or just good, but not REALLY good.

Best food in town!!! I ate here everyday for a few months while in town & often twice a day. It was so nice to eat healthy food, gluten free & organic! I never had to worry about what junk might be in the food. Very friendly staff too:-). I wish I had this restaurant in Phoenix! Miss you guys! Can’t wait to visit again:-)

Just got back from dinner with my wife and daughter at Green Organix in Clearwater. Food was very good, all organic and gluten free. I had a grass fed burger with blue cheese, my daughter had a chicken salad sandwich, and my wife had fish and chips and then we all had ice-cream. The only thing we didn’t like, was when we walked in we felt very uncomfortable. Like you were walking into a private club the we were not members of. We will go back.

The restaurant was clean and inviting and the staff was friendly. Unfortunately, we came for dinner when the chef was out of town and the staff didn’t have enough prepared food to last them until the chef came back in town. So, they were out of hummus so we had to have the Mediterranean chicken breast with spinach and feta cheese, they were out of lasagna so chose the anti-meat loaf instead. The meatloaf itself was good but the staff managed to burn it on all sides so I could only eat the inside. We also ordered the extreme hamburger medium rare and it came out well done. A side of sweet potato fries was very bland and a side of quinoa didn’t have any flavor either. Overall we were very disappointed and don’t plan on returning. There are several other reviews of happy customers so I guess if the chef is around then your meal will be great, but that isn’t a good way of running a restaurant.

Not only was it clean and friendly atmosphere, but the smell is delightful. Our waiter was very receptive and he understood my concern about the menu items all being gluten free. He helped my girlfriend and I choose what items to try. Amazing! I love when the wait staff has enough pride in their own cooks to offer up their most flavorful foods. Spring rolls and chicken salad it is! When the spring rolls came they were fresh and colorful and perfect for two people. So my friend and I shared them. Not being a fan of sauce I decided to try mine without the sauce that was offered. Big mistake. I took one bite and was scared to take another, until my friend told me to try it with the sauce. Holy cow is that good. Somehow it completely transformed the roll. Then our chicken salad came. Mine with a ranch type sauce(nothing like real ranch) and my friend with a Greek sauce. Both were absolutely to die for and I almost wished we hadn’t split the chicken salad. It was so moist and delicious that we both finished our salads in 5 minutes flat.

I’ve eaten here about a dozen times. The food is always excellent — fresh, organic and gluten free. Since they’re so new they’re still getting their act together in terms of service and not running out of items on the menu. Tonight I had a Delmonico steak — deeelish! This morning I had a crustless quiche with feta and broccoli. Keep up the good work, guys!

This is my third visit and every time I have had a wonderful experience. The food is amazing, fresh and delicious. I had the best scallops EVER here at their grand opening. It is quaint and charming and they are so willing to talk to you about the food, the wine and eating organic. Love it!
