I started to write this review about a week ago but decided to wait until my next visit to see if Marcella P. is talking about the same barista that makes my morning EACH and EVERY time I visit. She is. I just came from Starbucks and yes his name is Forrest and I swear even if you don’t like coffee, tea or frappuccino’s or water or sandwiches, or pastries or food; it is still worth your time to walk in there and have Forrest acknowledge your humanity. He goes out of his way to remember you if you are a regular. I am not a regular, but I visit often enough that he actually apologizes when he can’t remember how to spell my name. When I ordered my drink this morning,(I order the same thing every time) I was a bit distracted thinking about my day and he said, «You want extra room for cream right?» He is such a delight that I don’t just look forward to my greeting, I actually enjoy standing in line watching him work and greet each and every person treating them all the same, treating each and every person like they matter, because they do. I don’t know if Forrest likes his job, but it really doesn’t matter because if he doesn’t you would never be able to tell. Thank you Forrest for making my Grande Americano taste just a little bit better than any other location, because of you. Your future is bright!

some rude older lady helped me at the register, seem like she didnt want to be bothered. if you work customer service like i do, fake being nice cuz it just cost you a tip. never called my drink or name when it was ready. dont expect much going here. they need to work on a few things.

This is my & my fiancé’s favorite Starbucks. Why? One very special, friendly, and energetic barista: Forrest! Forrest is the best! He is so personable with all his customers & goes out of his way to make your Starbucks visit a five star experience. Forrest should be the ideal that all baristas strive for. Great job, Forrest! Thanks for always being so happy & friendly!

If you’re one of those people that prefer to use your app to place your order, and find it waiting for you, this isn’t the place for you. Estimated times are nothing but a lucky guess, be prepared for anything. The last time I went there, I waited a fantastic 20 minutes for my order. Yes, I know first world problems. I place mobile orders to forego the lines, and the wait time. If however you’re one of those unemployed/retired people who can leisurely come and go as you please, this is the perfect place for you. Happy waiting.

There is one male employee who has decent customer service skills. All the other people there are terrible and should be fired. Especially the dark haired dude who constantly snaps at you to say only one order at a time but if you take too long he snaps that you should hurry up. WTF. Don’t talk to me like that. Ever. I started going there because it’s semi convenient so now I know how to deal with him –I’m just a mega bitch right back. And then there’s an older blonde lady who obviously hates her job. She loves to argue with you that you have actually ordered your own drink wrong because she is always right. Isn’t the customer always right? Fortunately I’m not a fancy coffee drinker but still they never get decaf right. It’s just another Starbucks so they’ll never go out of business. Just get in bitch mode before you order and you should be alright. OR head to Starbucks in the village because they are the nicest people ever.

Slow service. Like others have said they messed up my order twice. One guy spilled my drink while trying to put the lid on it. They consistently are out of drinks that are relatively new. I wanted to try the honey caramel latte or butterscotch frappé but they were all out of both! Parking is a tight and difficult to find in the shared lot.

This Starbucks location consistently gets my order wrong. I’ve been here maybe half a dozen times and more than not my drink is incorrect. The only special request I make is for non-fat milk, yet every time I get regular milk. Unfortunately because I don’t stay at the location I can’t ask to have my drink remade.

Most of the employees here are nice and professional, but there are a couple of unhappy employees that have bad attitudes. I don’t want to mention any names that could jeopardize anyone’s job, but the management at this store needs to better train their employees to have a more pleasant attitude.

I love this Starbucks! it’s usually the least busy of all of the Claremont ones. I’ve waited 25+ minutes at the one on Yale. I’m usually in this Starbucks for less than 10. Everyone is nice and Matt is the best! Such a nice guy. One time my drink was lost in the queue and they gave me a free one. They work pretty hard to make people happy.

It is my second time visiting this location. The employees were very kind and nice. I had a somewhat complicated order and the cashier guy took care of it with a smile. He was very patient and I give him a lot of credit.

This Starbucks. Is the WORST in Claremont. If you can go to any other Starbucks you should. All the times I’ve been in there I’ve never been treated with kindness and respect. Especially the blonde overweight lady that’s normally at the register. She always has an attitude for no reason and is incredibly rude all the times I’ve been there. I’m not entirely sure why they would keep someone so horrible that doesn’t benefit the company in any way. I also ordered a reduced fat turkey bacon sandwich.(Heated by the same lady) It was in the bag spread everywhere cheese melted in bag and burnt. Not even servable or eatable. I would highly suggest going to any other Starbucks in Claremont if you want a good experience getting coffee.

One star for 2 huge reasons. 1) Lack of respect(of time and energy) for customers who are getting refills and 2) the horrible quality of thy refilled beverage. Anytime I get a refill anywhere else, I am given a new cup for«health code» reasons. That doesn’t happen here. So expect not to throw your cups cap or straw away because you will be given a drink without such accessories.(Which I’ve been told is a rule of what not to do). Apparently, because it’s free(if your a starbucks gold card holder), your time and energy to drive park, and study, read, or work while at this location is irrelevant to the batista who was of a more mature age and yet had the patience and care of a 2 year old. Waiy, I take that back, when my kids were 2 they were very caring. I waited a total of 10 drinks from people who were behind me, before I received my drink. When I reached to get a cap, I was asked not to do that and to ask for it? Really, you want me to ask for a cap? It doesn’t take impeccable astuteness to determine the beverage should have been capped. Okay no biggie, whatever, chalk it off to a bad experience. And then, I move on to leave because I just didn’t want to spend a min longer here(further derailing my plans to study), I leave. I drink the iced coffee which has an abundance of sweeter to the point that no matter how far up I lifted the straw, the drink was grossly over sweetened and thank god I have no affliction yo diabetes or I would have been shore to be sent into a shock. Boo. Completely, utterly, boo. I won’t be back. So here I am spending more time driving to la verne, where they know how to smile and be fair.

I work down the street and my office gets coffee from here every Saturday. The service there is pretty good. Every time I have gone in they are friendly and polite. Like any other Starbucks, this one does get pretty busy in the mornings. So make sure you have the time to stop by.

I’ve been here twice in a week. Each time there was one person at the register and the other employee cleaning. After my order is taken the cashier waits for the next customer while I wait 5 minutes before a staff member stops the cleaning and finally gets my drink. Customer service here is disappointing.
