Lovely little spot that had this welcoming vibe to it. There were plenty of people hanging out inside, doing homework, reading books, and whatever else people do at these little coffee shops. Tho there were plenty of tables inside, it felt like it was still kinda crampy in there to me. But still, I can see myself hanging out in there for a few mins or so catching up with my friends. The menu had a lot of interesting items, but I had already had my heart set on the Devil’s Kiss before going in; honestly, I think from all the hype of some of the Unilocal reviews, I went into the Devil’s Kiss with such high expectations, that it actually was ‘meh’ to me. Not bad but just not impressive either. My husband got the mocha latte and was disappointed … it just did not stand out to him. But workers were very nice and helpful in explaining what some of the drinks were. I would definitely come back and try some of the other drinks.

Amazing boba! Nicely sweetened Tapioca, cute place, and perfect tasting Milk Tea. Try their cranberry muffin as well! It’s so good especially after they warm it up for you. Yuum. Definitely coming back!

Very little nice place. Staff here are so friendly as well. The girl behind the counter looked like she was born to work there LOL! I have ordered the Thai tea with boba and also a Devil’s Kiss. I didn’t like a certain ingredient in the Devil’s Kiss and they said no big deal and changed it up a little. It was so good. I’ve also had the waffle with just nuttela on top and it was good. I would come here more often if I was in the area.

T’was my vaguest visit and I purchased the Orange Blossom. It was refreshing. I recommend it to anyone looking to try a new beverage. The service was friendly, efficient, and coupled with courtesy. I can assume that the café environment was made with effort. There’s an eclectic design to it. The theme screams relaxation and emits a kind of old-schooled classic ambience. I will return when I’m in the area again.

First of all I come here more than the times I’ve checked in. This drinks are amazing!!! I am a tea lover and I just can’t stop myself !! I have my usual drinks but my fave is the Purple me unsweetened with Chia and Aloe! Do try it! The others I do recommend are the Lychee Oolong, Angel’s and Devil’s kiss same way unsweetened with Chia and Aloe.

I was in the neighborhood and was looking for some refreshing tea and from reading the reviews, I figure I give this place a try. Sampled their«Purple Me» :hibiscus and lychee. Tasted good and sweet. But what got me interested was their«Hot Pink» since it also has hibiscus, strawberry, and mint. This drink was definitely refreshing and not too sweet! I added aloe so that helped make my drink a little sweeter. Will be back to try out the other drinks!

First off, the woman behind the counter was SONICE. When we told her it was or first time here, she walked us through menu and gave us some recommendations. There are not a lot of milk tea options(and I came in because of my addiction to milk teas with boba) but I settled on the jasmine green tea with sea salt cream. Boba was 50 cents extra(which I totally forgot to ask for –___-). The woman behind the counter gave us a sample of the salt cream which is DIVINE. The Jasmine green tea was very good too and tasted amazing with the salt cream. I asked for mine sweetened and I could have perhaps done with a little bit more sweetener but overall it tasted really great! And they have punch cards too(buy 6 and get the next one free) so definitely coming back here.

Reason #1 why I’m happy I left NJ: the boba is better out in California! I learned about Tocaja from my college friend who longboarded there and back just to get a drink. Obviously, if you have a guy choosing to labor down to the village from Foothill instead of preparing for finals, it has to be good. Needless to say, Tocaja exceeded my expectations. Walking inside, the café provides a very quiet, zen environment. The walls are adorned with wooden art, and there’s even a table outside to chill out with a book and your drink. While I’m used to typical Asian boba spots with milk tea, Tocaja carries tea drinks primarily where you can then have boba added additionally. I could hear my mother yelling at me in my head to walk away, since this wasn’t how I was brought up to drink bubble tea. Still, I stayed and decided on a drink. What I love about Tocaja is the fact that their drinks taste refreshing and natural, unlike usual boba shops that use powders to create their flavors. On my first trip here, I opted for the Hot Pink, which perfectly featured the hibiscus and strawberry without overpowering each other. I could honestly drink a jug of that poolside over a pitcher of lemonade any day. The sweetness wasn’t overbearing, and the only thing missing was a little umbrella and a lounger in front of me. On the various other occasions I’ve come here(I ended up coming once a week for four weeks), I’ve tried the Almond Oolong Tea Latte, Hibiscus Lemonade, and Purple Me. With each drink, I got hooked more and more on Tocaja, with the Purple Me being my all time favorite as of right now. I guess my Asian roots still lie in my flavor choices, since the lychee flavor won me over. Overall, for $ 3.75 dollars, this café isn’t the cheapest, but it is worthwhile. Boba and other additions are 50 cents each, but if you have a student id, you can get a large drink for the price of a small. The punch card is also helping me to justify my constant returns here. If you’re ever looking for a refreshing pick-me-up or a quiet place to lounge, Tocaja is definitely the place to go!

I love Tocaja for many reasons: 1. sea salt cream 2. friendly and awesome staff 3. in the village — very accessible to claremont colleges students 4. nice café-y atmosphere good for working. :) I always get the cold brew iced coffee with sea salt cream. eeeee so good. the oolong iced tea is also sooo delicious. they also have boba and other excellent drinks. ** remember to ask for a stamp card! rather than the usual 10 drinks til a free, it’s 6! :D *** also ask for student discount. :)

Trying to quit coffee… So what’s the better alternative? Drugs! Jk. Tea! :P I ordered a large black tea iced with chia seeds. The tea was strong and had that bitter taste that reminds me of tea from Asian cafes/restaurants. The chia seeds were great. I love boba but am trying to quit that too(too much sugar: sad face:) so the chia seeds were a great alternative. Boyfriend ordered a matcha soy latte. They actually stir the matcha with a bamboo whisk and tea bowl! The real deal! The drink was delicious but just a tad bit too sweet for his taste. The price is great(3 – 6 $ per tea. The 6 $ option is a pot of premium tea!) and all add ons(lychee, aloe, chia, boba etc) are 50 cents more.

LOVE this cute café that is more focused on tea but has limited coffee/espresso options too FREEWIFI, outlets, a couple tables inside and one patio table out back! I took advantage of the window seat up front! PLUS a few board games I’d your here for fun & not work —Devil’s kiss with aloe Vera: so refreshing. Not too sweet, and aloe Vera is always a huge plus in my book —They also had samples when i came and the hibiscus lemonade was good too Check in on Unilocal for 10%off your drink NOTE: they have a stamp card for loyal customers, 6 drinks gets you one free

I’ve become a regular. At work I think about how I’ll convince my coworker to go to Tocaja during lunch or after work, but luckily she’s been on board! I’ve had the salted cream, thai tea, Chai tea, and almond oolong. All really good, not too sweet, just how I like my tea! Boba consistency is great. They offer samples right by the door, and from those I’ve tried purple me, hot pink, and hibiscus lemonade, which have been a tad too sweet for my liking, but really tasty as well. It’s small but relaxing and I’ve seen everyone from people studying quietly to us playing jenga and being loud at times. My favorite tea place in Chino just closed so I’m glad I found this awesome place.

These tea infusions put Starbucks to shame. The Purple Me tea is a must! Its delicious and refreshing. The lychee gives it a great suttle sweetness and the color is as unique as the drink. This new gem in the village is adorable. Pop in and try 1 of their delicious drinks and sandwiches. They also have games you can play while you enjoy your tea ^_^!!!

Very delicious tea! I had the Hot Pink tea and it was amazing. The barista prefaced the drink by saying that it is sweet. And by all means… Give me some sugar! I loved it! The perfect balance of fruity and sweetness was perfect. I only wish that I didn’t drink it so fast! It is so good, it’s hard not too! At least I ordered it with light ice so I may have had a smidge more to sip on. Great service. Cute spot. Could use more lighting in the back seating area. The front was well lit by natural sunlight but had limited seating so I wasn’t able to get a good spot to study at until the end. Nonetheless, the drink was amazing! And they had sample cups so you could try some of the other drinks they had as well since the combinations are so unique, it can be difficult to make a decision! Highly recommend if you like sweet and special teas!

This place is amazing, me and boyfriend drive out here from Rancho Cucamonga just to get a drink here. So far I’ve been here 5 times and have tried something different every time and loved every single drink. The place is very cute and nicely decorated, like a small coffee shop you want to do your school work in. The employees are very nice and friendly, they greet you, ask you about your day, and bring your drinks to you(at least when I’ve gone). So far, my favorite drink to get is the Angel’s Kiss and Devil’s Kiss(they kind of taste the same to me). But I love adding Chia Seeds to it, they go great with those drinks! The tea tastes yummy and real, nothing is too sweet, and it all tastes very natural. I’ve gotten Hot Pink, Sea Salt Cream tea with Jasmine green tea, and have had a sample of the Purple Me(that one is my least favorite so far), but they were all very good I hope to eventually try everything on the menu! This place isn’t near any major part of the village but I hope that does hinder their popularity and that their sales are good so they never leave, this was a wonderful addition to the village and I will continue to make the 20 minute drive just to come here :)

I’ll crave it later I’m sure Wish I lived closer but def a go to spot when I visit the area! Every time I have gone it’s pretty quiet inside so perfect study spot I’m sure. Overall I loved it and I’m def going back
