I have been needing lip and brow waxing for a while and most places are so expensive and dont have time to get you in. I called about 230 and she gave me a much lower price for waxing both my lip and brow than the previous place i called. I made my apt for 430. When I went in, I didnt have to wait at all. She spent a lot of time on my brows and my lip to make sure things were just right. She did a great job and I will be going back. I hope that this little place recognizes what the customers are saying. I think it would be a nice place to go.

My sister and I just used our groupons for the shellac mani and regular pedicure. It was easy to schedule an appt within 2 days. I have never gotten a shellac, but the woman who did my manicure did an excellent job! It looks perfect and well done. My pedicure wasn’t the best one I’ve ever received but it wasn’t terrible.

Stopped in with my mother for haircuts we were greeted and given a couple books to look at styles because we weren’t sure what we wanted, maybe something new? The employees were commenting amongst themselves about how fake someone who just left there business was then left us to look at hair books while they touched up their OWN makeup on the floor. My mom asked how much a cut was, and commented it was a little more than norm, then we found our styles and were told we could make appointments for a later time because they had appointments coming in and couldn’t take any walk ins… EARTHTORAINSALON: Starr with that next time when you have a walk in come in! You came off rude

Cherry cuts my hair and I love it every time. She is the only one I go to now. Never had my nails done here and by the reviews I’ve read I’m happy about it. Funny thing though, the first time I went here nobody wanted to cut my hair(not sure why, its thick but not scary).

I went to Rain to get a shellac manicure and a pedicure. Neither turned out very well. I will not be returning.

Nice girls. but that’s not what I went for. I «cheated» on my salon because of a Groupon I purchased. The girl who did my nails was very sweet, but I’m NOT impressed with the work she did on my nails. They’re uneven in color, and she didn’t apply the shellac to my ENTIRE nail on a few nails. Lets also mention I was there YESTERDAY! I’m already having nail issues! She appeared to be very tired, and the receptionist sat in the computer playing games on the Internet or fighting with her«baby daddy» INTHEFRONTOFTHESALON… not the back. Probably the most awkward nail experience I ever had. I plan on contacting the owner and attempting to be reimbursed.

I wish I could rate these girls higher but I cant. They are nice enough and very sweet but when it come to nails it was like I was getting them done at a school. I think the girl need more experience n in nails before they have a grupon for $ 45 for a mani pedi, I felt I was pipped off. I have spent $ 20 on a mani pedi and it has lasted longer then theirs did. I got my toes done first, the girl was nice enough but was def off in her own world, my toes looked ok but the polish wore off in less than a week and i noticed one of my toe nails is complacently crooked and uneven from her filing. while I was getting my toes done my friend was getting her manicure done, as the girl was talking about«not liking to nip the cuticule and how it causes infection«she eneded up nipping a part of her finger that later swelled and hurt. Her schllac manicure lasted 2 days… 2 days! My schllac manicure laster 4… the polish was lifting up and peeling to due to improper application. I have gotten schllac many times and this has never happened, also the girl said«we dont give hand massages becasue it ruins the manicure, NEVER have I ever gotten schllac and NOT gotten a hand massage, u do the massage after the polish is applied and dried. sad to say i wont be gong back here, its out of the way and the girls need more practice in nails before they have such an expensive grupon, maybe they should lower the grupon price so they can get more people in and more practice.

I never even got past the receptionist. I called to make an appointment to redeem my «Fox 12 Daily Deal»(groupon-like thing) for a mani/pedi. I was asked for my name and number so the receptionist could call me back. That was 11:45. Shortly after 5:00pm I called back to see if any progress had been made in finding someone to take the appointment. I was told«Well, the girl who is working that day, doesn’t want to do this deal, but we can find someone else. What time do you want to come in?». Translation: Your request is a pain in our butt. I was hesitant to pick a time as it seemed clear that I was going to be working around the stylists and not the other way around. I asked to speak to a manager and was put«on-hold»(in quotes because I overheard the entire conversation that followed). The receptionist then recapped the situation for her coworker, using a mocking tone when passing on anything that I had said(like teenagers do when they imitate their parents). It was not a factual recounting of events as she told her coworker(apparently there is no manager) that it had been a couple hours since I called(6 hours is actually 3 times«a couple»), then got back on the phone and tried to give the canned apology. I said that they had succeeded in making me feel like a burden, and that I would be pursuing a refund. Fox 12 agreed to do so(bravo to them). What happened to customer service??? Apparently at this salon you call them, they take your name and number and get back to you at their leisure. I’m glad business is so good for them that they don’t need to be concerned with securing new clients. I just hope they never endeavor to branch out into giving professionalism training to other businesses or anything, we don’t need any more places that treat customers as inconsequential.
