Oh Hair

Hard to even rate this place, not a pleasant experience and the stylists made no effort. She had never been there but someone had recommended them so she called the main number and scheduled the appointment for the following week for a cut and color. She was really excited to get this done and had been saving for a while to have it done. When she arrived not one of the stylists that were there had her in their calendar and they didn’t know who did. My daughter did not remember nor did she know she needed to know the name of the stylist and the stylist there keep asking her who it was with. Guess when you book you should know who the stylist ist (this is not normal in other salons as there is a master calendar). Long story short, the stylists that were there were NOT helpful and almost rude because she didn’t know the name of the stylist. My daughter was upset because she was really looking forward to this. We ended up going to Emerald Isle Salon (which I will write a glowing review for next) and they did a fabulous job with excellent customer service. We will not recommend this place to anyone.

the salon looks cute and professional. Do not get your hair styled by Mary. I have had a haircut nightmare by her. Lesson learned. She took away 1 year of growing my hair out in a few minutes. When I finally realized what she did I was in shock. i told her i was trying to keep my length and to trim the dead ends and to keep the layers. she decided that meant make new layers between 3 – 5 inches throughout. by far the worst haircut of my life and that’s a understatement. sorry wish I had something better to say. I want to save someone else from having a oh my god what just happened to my hair moment. she was also late for theappointment and smells like cigarette smoke. Thanks Mary for temporarily running my hair and taking the past year away for me trying to grow it out. Only choice now is to cut it short in the back to somewhat make this look OK. Next time you get scissor happy make sure you listen to what the person is telling you in the chair and if you are unsure its time to double check,

My girlfriend recently had a bad experience at another salon. Long story short I ended up paying almost 600 dollars for my girlfriend to be reduced to tears and embarrassed to leave the house. After leaving poor reviews for the business they actually called me and asked if they could make it right by fixing it for free. I took her back for another session and they worked on her for half a day, when I picked her up I noticed a change but it was still far from ok, and they said it would take a «few more sessions».
My girlfriend ended up letting Tami at Oh Hair salon fix it. It took her about two hours to turn my girlfriends ruined, fried, multicolored hair to a beautiful natural healthy blonde that she wanted all along. Not only that but the hair even looked and felt healthier then before. I spent an extraordinary amount of money and time at another salon for what Tammi at Oh Hair managed to accomplish in a fraction of the time and cost.
I can not begin to tell you how great my girlfriends hair looks and feels now. Tami knows her business, it shows in the quality of her work and her prices are excellent. She took a horrible experience that she had nothing to do with and fixed it for us. She is a true professional. I would recommend her to any of my friends and family.
