I love their steaks but I was disappointed in the grilled shrimp. For as much as you pay they only give you six shrimp the grilled vegetables tasted bad and the rice that came with it tasted old. Also the waiter did not give us the bread right away we had to ask for it and that took some time to get I had to ask him twice for it. I was disappointed in the service also he was not too attentive.

I have to remember that I am at the Outback so I can manage my own expectations with the quality of my food and service on this visit. Ordered: Wings, filet with steamed veggies, no oil, no butter on steak, and broccoli. –Wings: Although flavorful, they were way too salty(and I love salt). Worse however, was the thick coating of grease left in the bottom of the plate for all the wings to soak in. The batter was not crunchy or crispy, and mostly the wings tasted of oil. My husband ate them, and the bite I had was so soaked in oil I had to use three napkins then wash my hands. –Steak: Asked for medium rare, served to me rare. Good thing I was planning on saving/re-heating half. –Veggies: Sent back the broccoli after noticing it seemed like it had been cooked and sitting in a warming tray for hours since part of the broccoli almost congealed together, super gross. On second attempt the veggies seemed better, but still somehow with an oil on them? How to steamed veggies get/need oil? –Service: Friendly, but inconsistent, and forgetful. Had to ask several times for water refills, my to go box(three times, including at initial order), and my husband’s lemonade to be brought. 26 dollars for an 8 oz filet with veggies wasn’t a «bad» deal, but certainly not a top-notch restaurant quality meal either, which for the chain/price, I wasn’t expecting. I’ve eaten at Outbacks where both the Chef and servers look at what they are serving and check on guests more which is why I was disappointed. Overall I left this place feeling like no one really cared… about my meal, my experience, or the small requests I placed to TRY to eat healthy(good luck). PARKINGLOT: Trying to leave the parking lot to merge into the long line of cars also leaving the Mall and movie theater, took forever. The overall layout of the center is horrible for traffic flow.

I usually stop by for a nice lunch. The staff is always friendly and very attentive. Food is delivered quickly and just as ordered. The steaks are not as great as those in luxury steakhouses like Fleming’s or Morton’s but neither is the price. So for the price it is good food. I Will definitely keep coming.

Will never return. Poor service. Poor quality food. Restrooms dirty and nor working properly. Overall no value for your dollar. Many other places that appreciate my business and where my dollar gets more value. This was the second time that I was disappointed. Never again.

Im writing this and i havent eaten yet. We walked in at 630 and was told it would be a 20 minute wait. Just got seated at 710, 40 minutes later. While waiting, watched the following. The two hostesses just standing next to each other. Who checks to see what tables are available. The two bus boys just walking back and forth with their tub across the lobby. As I write this, we are sitting at the table. It’s 715 and no one has come by. Service sucks. Hope the food is good tonight. Got our waitress and ordered our drinks and dinner. Took another 10 minutes and asking two people for silverware. I ordered the filet mignon. It was good. The lamb chops though had more bone and fat than meat. Waitress appeared too busy. Came by once to ask how dinner was. Didn’t ask if we cared for another drink. Now waiting for our bill. This place has always been good in the past. Don’t know what happened tonight. By the way, those boys spend too much time at the lobby area. Looks and is bad. Just spoke with the manager Allison. She listened to the issues and stated she would bring these issues up at a staff meeting. She did help make tonight better.

Food is good, service is alright, bad management. National promotion is not good at this location and the manager is ready to give a good fight for whatever bs she said.

Great service from our server Rondrequel . He was so nice & attentive to us. That’s how service should be done… thanks Ron! The rib eye steak was good. Also enjoyed our blooming onion. Hostesses friendly. Altogether great experience! Just came from there. So full…

I have been to this location several times, several months ago I would have rated this location 5 stars, after my meal last night 2 star is warranted, the food remains a constant very good quality, however my NY strip was unusually tough, although prepared medium as I requested. The baked potatoe was excellent and the broccoli was superb. The presentation was lacking from previous visits. I ordered the ahi tuna appetizer, which did not come with the usual 3 choices of dipping sauce and did not have the full cole slaw salad accompaniment. The bread was late coming out, but once out it was delicious. Our server really tried hard to correct our experience, she did her best, but management at this location needs to be re-trained or fired.

Difficult to decide. .how many stars… waiter was overwhelmed… ordered teriyaki with both steaks… never brought it… asked for ranch with blooming onion. …took 15 minutes for the reanch… onion was basically finished… drinks not refilled in timely manner. steak came out well done when ordered med rare… sent back and asked for nothing in return. .manager was sweet. .she brought free dessert and removed the steak from our bill. She was sorry and concerned… the waiter had absolutely no concern… very annoying

Less than one star! We had a horrible experience last night. We walked in with a 10 person party to celebrate my wife’s birthday around 830. We were sat in the back of the restaurant by the kitchen. We were greeted by a helpful and knowledgeable server who took our drink order and then left. Needless to say it went downhill from there. We were greeted by a server who was apparently uncomfortable with the size of our table to drop off our drinks(1glass of wine, mostly waters, a few sodas and my Arnold Palmer) and then take our food order. We waited over 20 minutes to get our salads, which were made with the wrong dressing and one extra, which was tried to give away to whomever was hungry. Then after sitting there for over an hour we were notified that they were out Ahi tuna for one of our peoples salads. So we put in a substitute only to be followed by the manager coming back saying she personally just learned how to cooked ahi and she would go do it herself if we would like. But weren’t we just told there wasn’t any Ahi tuna!!! Another 10 minutes later, our food finally showed up. But only 8 out of 10 dishes arrived. Then the 9th got there. And finally after 10 minutes, the final plate got to the table. My ribeye was overcooked by 2 temps. I asked for rare/med-rare and it came out med/med-well. My wife’s filet was med well and she ordered it medium. My father in laws prime rib was cold, as was his au-jus. It took the server another 15 minutes to get horseradish and ketchup to the table. My father in law sent his prime rib back. So the manager brought out a replacement. When she dropped it off she said she personally cut it herself(highly unlikely that she went behind the line and picked up a knife). After she dropped it off, she had the audacity to sit down next to him and ask him if he minded that she sit and watch him take a bite! Seriously??? He said I’d rather not but I’ll put up with it. So she sat there and watched. He was pleased with the temp and she left. He ate his dinner alone, while the rest of us watched and talked. When everyone was finished, we waited for 20 minutes to get our checks. No birthday congrats, NOCLEARING of the table, no refills on drinks. Where had our server gone. We had no idea. So I went and spoke to the rookie cookie cutter corporate manager and briefly explained my frustration about our dinner and all the mistakes on behalf of the server and lack of managerial presence. We left the restaurant well over 2 hours after we got there and exhausted. We visit that area every year and WILLNOT be going back. Where has customer service gone? I hope that upper management gets wind of this and helps make some changes so that this doesn’t happen to others.

I have never posted any pics and comments on Unilocal, but this is definitely the worst steak I’ve ever had !! I told them«medium rare»! They gave me this. I didn’t eat it at all and it made me feel sick. This place can’t compared to the one on Huntington. I won’t come back.

Came here for Valentine’s Day dinner as a last resort because the boyfriend and I were craving steak and we got our steak! But the experience was mediocre at best. I didn’t really expect a 5 star experience quality and service wise, but damn at least a four star… but nah. We were seated at the tall tables which was pretty uncomfortable, but no biggie. The waiter who took our order was nice, but damn the girl who dropped off our food, I know it’s Valentine’s Day and working that night must have sucked, but you should have packed that attitude up and take it home, I hope my tip that night only went to the guy because this tip right here is meant for you, smile!!! We ordered two prime rib dinners, a soup, and a seared ahi tuna appetizer. The bread was good, but I didn’t eat much of it since we ordered so much. The seared ahi tuna was up first, the slices of tuna were pretty thin and sad looking, but the quality was okay. The sauce for it was delicious though, very flavorful. Then we got our chicken tortilla soup which was pretty yummy, my boyfriend said it tasted very authentic, like how his family used to make it. We finally got our steaks and the portions were quite generous. I got the 12 oz and my boyfriend got the 16. Sad to say an oz or two of both our steaks were probably fat though, and we realized this is probably the difference between high end restaurants and these every day restaurants. The steak sauce was pretty salty and possibly soy sauce based… kind of strange, kind of worked? Overall the experience was okay for a last minute, late night dinner! But that girl, I swear.

I came here with some friends the day after I went to another steakhouse so I opted to order a sesame chicken salad. That salad was actually pretty good! I wasn’t expecting very much in terms of taste, but it really hit the spot. The veggies were fresh and the chicken was only a little bit dry. I would’ve given it more stars, but my friend got a rib eye and massive diarrhea after. Medium rare is not the way to go here. Her man hated the strawberry lemonade here as well. He was expecting the fresh squeezed kind apparently.

Salty. Everything tastes super salty. Even my dad who inhales sodium said it was salty. The service was fine but the food was just — don’t eat here. It’s not even cheap. If you want decent unhealthy food, check out your local McDs. The blooming onion was fine as it is, except they added an obscene amount of seasoning which made the dish pretty much inedible. Even the salad was drenched in too much dressing. The steamed broccoli was just on the entire stalk itself and had a weird piece of. unidentifiable string looking thing in it. The coconut shrimp tasted like fried. friedness. The medium-rare steak was cooked medium and the medium a medium well. Even for the medium-rare, the exterior was burnt and I had to cut slices of it off. I literally cut my steak into little pieces and to go-ed it so I can make fried rice or something at home. tl;dr, the best part of the meal was probably the bread. I lied. They brought out an oreo sundae for my sister, as I had let our waitress know it was my sister’s birthday. That was pretty good, but I also could’ve gotten that at said unhealthy fast food restaurant.

I stopped by here with a friend on a Tuesday night … neither of us had ever set foot in an Outback restaurant, and I generally eschew chain restaurants in favor of mom-and-pop joints. Buuuuuuuttttttttttt, we were hungry, it was late, and it was the best option on our«last resort» list for the night, so we figured why not give them a try? As it turns out, despite my skepticism from being inundated by countless Outback TV ads over the years(invariably featuring an Aussie/Aussie-sounding narrator promoting impossibly delicious-looking food), we did have a pretty positive dining experience here, overall. Due to the day and time, parking was extremely ample. Our various servers providing differing degrees of enthusiasm, but the level of service provided was pretty decent, overall. Not top-tier, but not bad at all for a chain-type restaurant. I’d like to start off the assessment of Outback’s dishes by positively commenting on the complimentary plate bread/butter: it’s *surprisingly* good — far better than I expected … soft and warm on the inside, toasty on the outside. The quasi-artisan quality of the bread was also far higher than one might’ve anticipated from a chain diner. So that was a good start to our meal. We started off with a «Bloomin’ Onion» appetizer, which was pretty much a glorified dish of onion rings(or at least, a step up from them), served with a dish of «bloom sauce», which was surprisingly nowhere as spicy as I had feared. It was tasty and well-made, but I was quite glad that I did not have to consume the dish by myself, because it’s *real* cost was frickin’ 1948 calories(and not $ 6.99). =-O We followed that regretful obesity trap with Grilled Chicken on the Barbie and Baby Back Ribs. The grilled chicken was served with seasonal mixed veggies and BBQ sauce. To be completely honest, it wasn’t exactly the tastiest item on the menu … *but*, at only 408 calories, one can order it with zero risk of having to apologize to their waistline later on. I would only recommend it if avoiding tubbiness is a higher priority for you than having a scrumptious meal. The Baby Back Ribs were exceptionally good … tender, flavorful, and properly moist. If they had only served it with a slightly greater amount of BBQ sauce, I would have deemed them to be more or less *flawless*. I would definitely recommend this dish to any of my readers of the carnivorous persuasion. To my amazement, the check was not delivered prior to request — which I consider pretty impressive given that the opposite has been my experience at similar types of restaurants. So that’s another point in favor of this Outback location. The restroom could be a little cleaner, but I’ve been in worse. Overall, this place is pretty splendid for a chain restaurant, and I would not hesitate to come back here again to sample other items on their menu.

I decided to come here for dinner because I was craving the blooming onion, and you really can only get that at Outback or at a fair. We got here around 8:00 and there wasn’t really a wait. The restaurant is just way too dark. I wish there was more lights in there. For our appetizer we ordered the blooming onion! The flavoring of the coating was very good. Only complaint was that they didn’t cook the bottom part all the way through and it was very greasy at the bottom. For my entrée, I ordered the grilled ribeye with their classic seasoning and the garlic mashed potatoes and french onion soup as the sides. The french onion soup is one of my favorites. It’s so cheesy and gooey. The steak was cooked to a medium, which is what I ordered. It was a little bland for me, so I had to ask fro A1 and Tabasco. Service was good. Our waiter was very attentive and always asked us if we needed anything. I would come back for the french onion! and maybe the blooming onion, but probable go elsewhere for steak.
