I can’t speak on this warehouse store because I have never been here. But I CAN speak for Sweaty Bands. These things are awesome. I first saw them at the Long Beach Marathon expo and have to say I was a little hesitant on believing they don’t slip ever. Nonetheless, they had a «Boston Strong» band and I bought it anyway because I loved it. I wore it for the half marathon that weekend and wow… It really didn’t move once! I didn’t have to readjust or anything! Ever since then I’ve been hooked. I’ve slowly gathered a collection of these bands because they’re so cute. They have so many different styles to choose from. They also have bands in different widths for different preferences. I like the 1″ bands personally. They also make special edition bands for the expos at races! You bet I’ll be buying a Disneyland half marathon sweaty band in a few weeks. Buy at race expos, nordstrom, target, or on their website. Fantastic bands.

I recently participated in Best Damn Race Orlando 5K. The day before the race I checked out the expo and saw the booth for Sweaty Bands. I had heard sooo much about them and was drawn in by the racks and racks of pretty headbands, all prints and colors. The prices are steep, ranging from $ 15 – 19 based on size(skinny, medium or wide) but they also had a $ 10 clearance section. I ended up buying 4 . On the day of the race I wore my chevron print band and loved it. Kept my hair in place with no flyaways or so I thought. Well after finishing the race one of my friends noticed my sweaty band was GONE! I know it seems silly but I was really mad. We looked all over the expo area and finish line but it was long gone. A friend suggested going back to their booth to ask if anyone had turned it in. Well the woman working was very helpful and when I told her I had bought it the day before and even showed her pics of me that morning with it on, she went ahead and REPLACED it for me. She even had me try on to make sure I was wearing properly and gave me a business card with contact Info if I ever had any issues. She made it clear that they 100% stand behind their products. I was impressed with the way I was treated and how things were handled. I will gladly purchase from them in the future!

These ladies had a booth set up at the health expo in Los Angeles and I am so glad I stopped by. They have tons of styles(thick, medium thin bands, cloth, sequins, etc) and are about $ 10-$ 18 each. They DONOT move an inch(I ran a marathon in it). They do not snag your hair. They are supercute.

On the strength of all of the online reviews and blog posts about Sweaty Bands — I ordered 3 … one cute velour one for work, and 2 for workouts — one plain black one & one reflective purple one. They don’t work. I wasn’t even exercising — I was grocery shopping and it slipped out of place within the first hour I had it on! And now that I see them in person, they are way overpriced for what they are — I would say $ 5 would be a fair price and they are $ 15 each plus shipping.

Sooo this one was tough, I did strongly consider giving this 4 stars but I’m not ready yet. I bought a sweaty band at the Chicago Triathlon expo two weeks ago and I did a 12 mile run the next day with my new wide purple glitter sweaty band and(GASP!) it fell twice. Yup. I wore it last Sunday for a 9 mile run and it didn’t slip but I did check it once or twice. You have to really wear it close to your hairline and not push it too far back, but it can still slip. Compared to similar products, including my last set of hair bands from Under Armor, this is far better. Are they perfect? No. I like the idea and I really liked looking at the large display at the expo as there were a lot to choose from. But these aren’t cheap. It was $ 12 for a skinny band and $ 15 for a thick one. The margin on these products must be insane as its just a piece of fabric sewn to a piece of felt which supposedly keeps its from slipping. Seems a little pricey to me considering my triathlon club is selling custom made visors from Headsweats(a widely recognized apparel brand in multi-sport circles) for $ 15. I’m not against buying another one in the future, but for the price they are charging it better be a fabric/design I truly love.

I cannot say how long I have been searching for a hair/head band that does not slip during a rigorous workout. I have tried practically every single brand in stores that are available, rubber pads, elastic this that and the other, ALL of them have not lived up to my expectations… until I bough a Sweaty Band. These guys do NOT slip. What is the ultimate test? I wore my first Sweaty Band during a Tough Mudder obstacle course. Mud, water, ice, wood, running, jumping, scooting, sliding, swimming and it didn’t budge ATALL!!! Sure they are a bit more than what you buy in the store($ 20) but during my training circuits, mud run competitions, marathons and hiking, they stay in place and with the design selections they offer you are sure to find one to match every stylish and not so styling workout gear!
