Delicious! It truly is like Subway for pizzas. I got a mound of every topping I wanted for no additional cost. The thin crust is perfect & crispy so u don’t fill up on that & u can even more, enjoy all of the glorious toppings. I’ll definitely be back! Staff very nice & helpful too.

Thin crust, fast, and unlimited toppings if you order build your own pizza! They also offer gluten free pizza, for an additional fee! I will add that prices went up, build your own cost $ 8.50 now still a decent price but when you have to order two personal’s I prefer going to Filippi’s pizza for that price lol …

First time here and I loved it. Got #4 on the menu and my daughter got all pepperoni and she loved it too. It was good to have a restaurant the has ginger ale. I haven’t been to one that has it at the drinking fountain. Definitely coming back.

Fast, affordable and tasty. I loved my 1st pie project experience. We did a 2 in 1 pizza with 2 halfs. Build your own. People were fast and friendly. Altho, my advice is if u dont like hot. Dont put too much pepper flakes. It was really good and pretty spicy. The drinks werent too sweet. I did like the the lemonade. Id reccommend it for fast and affordable dine in.

Love this place. My younger daughter is allergic to dairy, so this is the only way she can eat pizza. A little sauce, bacon and ham. She doesn’t fell left out when she older sister eats her pizza. Regular size is $ 8.50 and the kids size is $ 6. You can put any or all of the toppings at not extra cost. Yummy. Staff are friendly and helpful.

First time at a Project Pie brought here by business colleagues and the pizza is fresh and fantastic. Highly recommend. Great flavor. A friend called it like a Subway for pizza where you order whatever you want and they make and bake it right in front of you.

Project Pie is becoming my favorite create your own pizza place! The service here was fantastic, super nice staff and very efficient. The space is nice, plenty of seating. Prices are more than fair at $ 8 for a pizza with as many toppings as you like, I got a salad along with it and had plenty of leftovers for later. Tons of toppings, all of the usual plus a few unique ones that other chains don’t serve. The quality is fantastic, the food always fresh and prepared perfectly! So glad we stopped in, I’m sure we will be back for more!

Wow. What an amazing experience I had at this delightful and unique restaurant. They have a large menu standing outside so you can pick out what you want before getting in line inside. I went inside and ordered the #6– BBQ chicken pizza and added jalapenos( ) along with a couple other pizza for my friends. You can customize your pizza any way you like. They start creating your pizza right in front of you.( ) They pull out some dough, start rolling on it with some tool.( ) They asked if i would like garlic butter or olive oil. I asked what does it originally come with? And they said olive oil so I stuck with just the olive oil. They were busy working on the pizzas and I did see them start to put this cheese on my pizza. It looked like blue cheese. I was a bit hesitant about it. I asked what it was. They said it was called gargonzola cheese and it was similar to blue cheese. I said alright and thought it must be good if that is what comes on the pizza. They proceeded to put the pizza inside a huge oven( ) and I asked them how long it takes and they said only 3 minutes. Wow! It was pretty fascinating. Came up to the register and was greeted by Lily and asked if they had a combo special and they said no, and that drinks are separate. They had milk, chocolate milk, apple juice or just a fountain drink. Lily then started telling us about the fountain drinks. She was very pleasant and informative about everything! It wasn’t just any fountain drink. The drinks they have use real cane sugar instead of artificial sweeteners and corn syrup like other sodas contain. I thought that was very interesting. We decided to try the fountain drinks.( ) We started to eat our pizzas and we all enjoyed it but I noticed a weird taste in certain bites of my pizza. My friend wasn’t enjoying hers either. We figured out it was the GARGONZOLA. My friend described it as tasting«like the smell of mold». We were in a dilemma becuase here we had two whole pizzas we didn’t like but felt bad that we didn’t know we didn’t like gargonzola. I ended up taking one of our pizzas to the front and was just honest and started explaining we just couldn’t eat it. The gargonzola was too strong and we had no idea it would taste like that. April said that was no problem and she made us another custom pizza. This time we stuck with only mozzarella. The pizza we received was delicious. The ingredients were fresh. Their crust tasted excellent and the pizza had the perfect texture. The cheese was melted to perfection. I really loved their fountain soda as well. It tasted really good! It was almost better tasting than coca cola. They had an ipad hooked up with a camera on the wall that you can take pictures with and post on their instagram. I thought that was pretty cool I had never seen anything like that. They had many awesome quotes written on the wall and me and my friends started reading them and picking out our favorite quotes. Overall this was definitely a great, different kind of pizza place. I love the fact that you can go in there and get any toppings you want and customize it just how you like without feeling like your being to difficult. That really is the whole point to this place is customization. I will definitely be returning for a round two!

Subway style pizza joint. Pick you toppings as you go and in 5 minutes, your pie is ready. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a good place, but I think i prefer the regular pizza joints over this place. The crust was crispy and toppings were plenty which made for a good pizza, but there’s nothing like the taste of something a little less instant.

I came to the Chula Vista location with a friend and I always enjoy a «build your own» place. I felt like I was watching a movie in slow motion because of the service. I can’t imagine how long you have to wait when they get a rush of customers in for lunch. I think the topping choices need to be expanded and they should have an option for the choice of crust. The bathroom was also not very clean which is inexcusable because I was their first customer that day. While having my pizza made I had to continuously ask for more toppings. I also had a half and half pizza and the girl kept mixing up how I wanted my pizza. When my pizza was made my order was wrong. I did not want my pizza to go to waste so I didn’t have a new one made. The pizza was just okay, nothing special.

Came here recently and I didn’t like it. I frequent the location in HIllcrest and I like that one a lot better. I feel like this place is disorganized. The staff is nice, but they could have been more orderly. Already firing numerous pizzas they would then look in to figure out which pizza is what, mark it down and then ask for your name. That may get a little confusing if there’s many of us, which there was. At the Hillcrest location they would just fill out everything as you go, no confusion what so ever. I like going to Project Pie because I don’t feel guilty after eating it. It feels healthy, as much healthy as it can be I suppose. Ha. But this location. my pizza was so oily. It was dripping everywhere. I couldn’t finish the last piece because I had a huge puddle of oil on my tray. That has never happened to me before. I don’t know everything just felt so heavy. Yes I know it’s pizza. But trust me, I’ve had project pie where everything just felt so light. This wasn’t it.

Project Pie is a great place for a good and simple pizza. There is nothing complicated about what pizza you want and what there is to choose from, because everything is completely customizable so you know you’ll be able to have something you’ll enjoy and love. One of the best parts about this place is that every pizza is affordable at one low price! Unlimited toppings, everything you want, for one low price. Granted, the crust is not the thickest, so more toppings can lead to a soggy pizza. My favorite pizza to get is no red sauce, just the olive oil and garlic, with some gorgonzola(skip the mozzarella), meatballs, and caramelized onions. SOGOOD. AMAZING. It’s the same type of pizza I would make when I worked at a pizzeria and the combination has never let me down! The salads they have on the menu aren’t what appeal to me the most, but last time I just asked if I could make my own and they were happy to help me. Salad turned out amazing! Very hearty and delicious.

Came to Project Pie for dinner tonight. My husband had a coupon. It was buy one get one free. I chose to put pepperoni, mushroom and green pepper. My husband also added artichokes, red pepper and garlic. It was all on a thin crust. It was very tasty and the thin crust was crunchy. It only took about 5 minutes to cook. They cook the pizza in a big oven. See my photo. It was cool to see them cooking it. We also got fountain drinks. They make their own sodas. It is not a brand name like Coke or Pepsi. I chose the black cherry soda. That was good. I try to avoid sodas but this one was different. I had to try this no name brand of soda. It tasted great. There was plenty of seating inside. There is also plenty of parking in front. The service was pretty quick. Once your pizza is done, they call your name. A lot of people came here to eat for dinner. Good thing we got here early. We try to avoid the long lines. This place is a must try.

Came here before the movies and wow this pizza is pretty bomb. The staff is cool as f we wanted to sneak in pizzas lol so they did their best and individually wrapped our 3 pizzas. Its a cool vibe too it reminds me. of woodstocks pizza over in the college area. Pizza and beer I think? But anyways the pizzas are small thats probably the only thing that kinda sucks. I will. come back tho we really enjoyed the food. $ 8 for anything that’s great. Reminds me. of subway :) Sorry Unilocalers no pics(blame the hunger)
