Tried the chipotle chilaquiles, when we got them they were cold and a tad dried, they tasted great just wish they would have been warm. The potatoes and the beans were delicious and again they were cold. It might be me but I like my food warm and not dry. I will attempt this place one more time, I am not sure if this place is a sister location as the one in Tijuana but the TJ chilaquiles super Rock!

I decided to try the place after trying the other Mexican places in the area, which weren’t so pleasing. This place has a great taste and very friendly service. I had the cilantro enchiladas with their house potatoes and beans. It was delicious. Again, the service is nice and besides lunch and dinner, they also serve mexican style breakfasts! I definitely will be coming back for the taste. I recommend trying the place out.

So, this place sucks. I’ll just be honest and straight to the point. And before you dis me, saying that this place is the bomb, Let me explain. This restaurant would be my go-to place whenever I’d be at the mall and I’m hungry. Why? Because this place was pretty good. Was. One of my favorite orders would be a carne asada burrito or carne asada fries. Staff would be pretty nice. Then, today, was just the worst. So, after a nice long day of shopping, I went to order some food. No one would want to serve me. They see me, and just ignore my presence. Finally, I catch a lady’s eye, and she says, «What are you doing here?» Shocked and quite angered, I said, «I want to place an order.» She just looks at me and says, «You want a menu?» I said no, mainly because I already know what I want to order and I already said that I wanted to place an order. I don’t know if she’s some sort of idiot or not, but let’s just continue with the story. So, she says«I’ll be back.» She never came back. After a few minutes, a different guy says, «Are you here for pick up?» Hello? I’ve been standing here for like, 5 minutes, in front of the cash register. They even saw me there when I came in. So, I placed my order, and then I went to go visit a store for a while waiting. We came back after 10 minutes and they just look at us again. We sat there, waiting, for 30 minutes. Finally, I asked the lady who never came back, «Excuse me, is our order done?» She just yells to the others, «is it done?» They looked at her, then to us, then to her again, then us, and said, «We’re gonna start it now.» I was shocked, because for 30 minutes, we’ve been waiting here, inside, and no one wanted to take our order, nor even start our order! After waiting another 10 minutes, they’re still working on it, and one of the workers come out and say, «you want a drink?» Uh, no I don’t, because I already told you my order, and then you start asking me for other things? I just want my order, not a soda. After 5 minutes, they come out with one of the things I ordered, an order of carne asada fries, and says that the carne asada burrito is still being worked on. Then, after another 3 minutes, they come out and say, «we’re almost done, give us 30 seconds.» No, I don’t want to wait even more. I counted 30 seconds out loud, and I think they heard since they started rushing, and then finally, they came out with my burrito, the lady packed it in, and said, «bye.» No one apologized for the long wait. Finally, I got home, unpacked all of the food, and guess what. The burrito was cold and uncooked. The fries were okay. But the burrito was absolute trash. So, I’ll probably never come back here. Yup. I’ll probably go to some other place, like Tokyo Grill, which is right next door. I give up with this place. I don’t know why they made me last. Is it because I’m Asian? Is it because I’m not Mexican? Is it because I wasn’t dressed in fancy clothing, but just regular clothing? I don’t know. So, I have some tips on this business. Be more friendly, attentive, focus on cooking, keep track of time and order, and don’t judge people by their looks. Because, you lack this. That’s for sure. So, any last parting words I have for you? You suck.

I said I was going to try something new but I couldn’t resist the chipotle cream chilaquiles again. But what is kind of crazy is that the dish is different and somehow even better. It’s not presented in quite the gourmet stack of perfectly placed chips and instead is way more sauced and the recipe seems tastier. We remembered that the medium size is more than enough so we did that and were still too stuffed after eating it all. Their potatoes have improved too. Love that they have coupons too.

YESSSS the best breakfast I’ve ever had. It was also not expensive at all. Usually when I go out to have breakfast with my family of 4 we end up paying a pretty big bill but this place was not expensive. I could barely finish my plate. The place was pretty full but it was a Sunday so I was not surprised.

I recently visit this place, and it looks and taste AMAZING. I tried the«CILANTROCHILAQUILES» and it was the best Mexican food i’ve ever tried in SanDiego. Great customer service, and also don’t forget to mention the greatest decorations on food. I meet the cook who’s name is Jorge, he was very kind and made our family’s dinner the greatest. I will be visiting again soon with the FAMBAM for some great chilaquiles. I will let all friends and family members know they need to visit this place! Thanks for the great experience.

I just tried the Carne EN Su Jugo… It is by far the best one I have tried. Other than Mi Tia’s of course… lol. You gotta try this place, it has the feeling of a fancy restaurant but in a Food Court setting.

Sit down restaurant service in a mall food court? Yes, please! The food is really good; definitely not your average food court food. In fact, it’s not fast food, it’s not even chain restaurant food, t’s really great Mexican restaurant food. Their chilaquiles are available not just with red or green sauce but a ton of different sauces at different levels of spiciness, and they also have a fairly good selection of familiar Mexican dishes. My chilaquiles were some of the best I’ve ever had, and my wife very much enjoyed her cheese enchilada with mole sauce. The service was great. Our waitress spoke Spanish to us without even attempting English(we are Asian), which is a clue this is a legit Mexican establishment. The dude that initially was cooking in the back later came out to make sure we were doing OK, and on hearing me speak español, even threw in some free dessert! Sweet! Since chilaquiles are my favorite Mexican breakfast dish(possibly my favorite breakfast dish, period), and theirs is super legit, I will definitely be coming back for more chilaquiles(definitely the«la mas picosa del mundo» hottest sauce in the world this time) and to sample more of their dishes.

I went in today hoping to have the best chilaquiles in San Diego, I mean everybody praised this place so I assume it was going to be good. I got the mole chilaquiles, they had no taste, watery, the potatoes were very very cold and hard, the beans were very oily, the chicken had a very strange taste and smell, the cochinita pibil taco was dry and bland. Nobody came to check on us once we got our food. The cook was very nice though.

I always say I’m going to write a review but never get around to it but this time it’s just mandatory. I have been by the food court at this outdoor mall several times but never really eaten at the food court until someone gave me a voucher from . With that in mind, I told myself might as well give this place a shot. Walked in the place, small sitting area inside, okay that’s normal for an outdoor food court mall. Much more sitting outside but due to wind I wanted to sit inside. I was welcomed the moment I sat down by the waiter and chef which was very pleasant. I was thumbing through the beverages and instantly ordered fresh orange juice which was a great choice. Fresh and the perfect taste. I was quickly won over and couldn’t wait for my food selection. Steak skirt fajitas was my choice of poison that day and let me tell, in the year and half of living in Southern California this has been the best Mexican dish I have eaten!!! Fajitas had yellow and purple onion, red and green bell peppers, tomatoes and the juiciest meat. Accompanied with a side of beans and guacamole and let’s not forget the handmade flour tortillas. Never been so happy with a meal. On the way out I had to try their jugo verde which is a take on green juice. Healthy and definitely a little kick to my day. This place is just phenomenal! Would come back even without a food voucher. Highly recommend this place and for dont forget to check in on Unilocal for 10% off the tab.

I work in this mall. Most of the time if I forget to bring lunch this is my go to spot for food. I usually go with a fish or carne aside taco. Their servings are really generous. The chilaquiles are delicious. Get them with Mole. My favorite thing about the restaurant is the Habanero sauce(green sauce at the salsa bar). It is so spicy but soon delicious. If you’re really not used to spice be prepared to eat alone so no one can see you sweat. The workers and managers in there are very nice, especially Jose who I usually order from. It’s mainly a take out place, but you can dine in and the staff waits on you. They’re great.

If you’re hungry for some good Mexican food, try this restaurant. They serve some pretty authentic Mexican dishes. They offer plenty of good combo plates as well as a-la-cart items that you can order. My hubby and I love their food! On our most recent trip, he ordered a combo fajitas plate. It was served on a sizzling hot cast iron platter. It had beef, chicken and shrimp. It looked and smelled delicious!!! The dish I ordered may not have been as exciting as his, but I was really in the mood for beef taquitos. I’m so glad I ordered them! Most of the Mexican fast food restaurants that I’ve been to don’t put very much meat in their taquitos. This place is different. There was plenty of meat inside. The texture and flavor was delicious! Same thing for the beans and rice. Very delicious! The service is friendly and the place is clean. The prices are very reasonable too.

If you haven’t tried this you are missing out on a unique and delicious experience. By far the best Chilaquiles I have ever tasted and so many flavors to choose from. We had the combination plates with the roja and the cilantro then the avocado and chipotle. They were amazing but the chipotle and the cilantro were outstanding. The employees made us feel welcome as soon as we hit the door, the chef gave us some fruit plates to cool off with and he explained all the options and flavor combinations he could do for us. The place was so clean and the finished product looked too good to eat. I am not from the SD area but will travel back often to come back for these Chilaquiles.

Stopped in over the weekend while shopping, I was in need of a snack. The place was clean and the service was quick and friendly. I ordered shrimp tacos — B. Nothing fancy or spectacular, but they were tasty and fresh with a good seasoning on the shrimp. I would stop by again!
