We were waiting for a very long time for someone to come take our order. Like 15 – 20 mins. We were watching as people were coming in being seated and their orders were being taken before ours. Wtf! The waitress was only paying attention to one certain table. Very disappointed.

We wait 45 min to be seated, when we aske what was happenning they told us that people call from their house and make reservation. That was not the only thing the lady that was seating the partys, she was really rude when we ask twice about our table.

I have seen numerous reviews about being charged 6 bucks for the 4.99 all you can eat pancakes deal advertised, so I decided to call them. Turns out that the IHOP in Eastlake charges 6.99 for the AYCE pancakes, and 1;50 for any add ons, such as apples, blueberries, etc… No thanks… I’ll go to Hometown Buffet and eat whatever I want.

So. the system goes down. and the waitress comes to tell us 25 mins after the fact. that they can’t put orders in until the system comes back up and then the cook can prepare our orders. whixh would be another 20 – 30 mins. umm. whatever happened to looking at the waitress’s ticket, start cooking and when the system is back online, put the damn orders in the system for billing… I swear people rely on technology too much. besides this, I’m sure the food will be good. I would give 3 stars. but just 1 for tonight.

We’ve been here a few times to eat breakfast. Their coffee is hot and delicious. I’m not sure what brand they use, but I really like the flavor. I usually order pancakes, eggs, and bacon. My hubby usually gets hash browned potatoes. Our food has always been decent at this restaurant. It’s usually pretty crowded here, at least on weekends during usual breakfast hours. That’s to be expected. Upon arrival, someone will greet you and add your name to their waiting list. It’s nice that they give you an estimated waiting time. If the wait is too long, you can always decide whether or not to go somewhere else. I don’t mind waiting, as long as the good is good and the service is friendly. I like this IHOP and I’d recommend it to others. It’s a nice place to eat breakfast. Nothing too fancy, but good food.

Looks popular. It’s clean, well decorated for the holidays, with attentive wait staff. Wait is too long for me on a late morning during the week, so I left.

Attention Waitresses, you cannot always rely on your MEMORY!!! On Monday 9−5−15 I went to the IHOP on Otay Lakes Rd. with my Daughter. Our waitress, Patty took our order without writing it down. Well, when I got my food I was not given my Vegetable Omlet with my French Toast. When I told Patty I also ordered a Vegetable Omlet, she tried to blame me and said«I thought you only wanted the French Toast.» That’s why you should NEVERASSUME what I said and WRITE it DOWN! You are good enough to use your MEMORY!!! You people in Management should make it Mandatory for all your Servers to write down ALL orders TAKEN! PERIOD!

Horrible wait time. Waited 30 minutes for a table and another 35 minutes for the food. Food was cold when it got at the table. Will not be coming back.

When I’m craving for omelette, I think about Ihop in Eastlake. There are days that the wait will take about 20 minutes or so, but the last time I was there with my family we were seated after about 5 minutes. Everytime we come here, we always order omelettes, so many choices and they’re all good. The price is not that bad at all for $ 8.59, $ 9.59 and you can also create your own for extra charge. If you’re watching your weight, ask for their simple and fit menu items. Customer service is awesome. They always refill our coffee. And I love that! Parking here is not a problem.

I was very excited to go to IHOP because I heard it was a good place for breakfast! But I made a big mistake! When we got there(my sister and her boyfriend) we were told there was a wait of 15 mins and we didn’t mind! When we got our table the server came and she didn’t even introduced herself! She just said what can I get you to drink!(We noticed she was in a hurry) but we didn’t mind! She took like 15 mins to come to our table to take our orders! When she was going to take our orders she said«anyone can start» like how rude is that!!! After that we waited 40 minutes to get our food! We were about to leave but we saw the food coming and we were really hungry! More disappointments happened! The food was really bad as well! My brother in law couldn’t even eat his pancakes because they were super hard to eat! The manager wasn’t even doing her job at checking on tables! It was just a disaster! I’m very dissappointed and I’m not coming back!

My husband and I eat here nearly every Monday night! We are always seated promptly and the service is superb. Our waitress is usually Johnna, who is the best you’ll find anywhere! The food is always served promptly, hot and just like we ordered it. My favorite is… well, I like a lot of things, but the chicken crepes are probably my fav. Husband likes Country Steak and patty melt… but we’ve never had a bad experience at this IHOP!

Wait was long. A lot irritated because I overheard a guy come in(party of 4) and he said that he called over 30 mins ago sand was late. We had been already been waiting over 30 minutes and he was say before us. How is this fair to all of the patrons that have been sitting patiently. If you don’t arrive during your time, you should go at the end of the list or lose your spot. The restaurant was jamb packed and this should only be allowed to be accommodated if it is not busy or not at all. For example, I could call ahead of time and take a shower and then show up and be accommodated right away as per the explanation I received from the person in the front and jump ahead the people that have taken the time to come in and wait. This policy is for lazy people and unfair for people who are waiting patiently!!! Understandable if you have a big party, but ridiculous for smaller and more manageable parties.

I’m upping them one star because I found out that you have to ask for your hashbrowns to be crispy and mine came out really crisp after I asked. All the others in our party had the same soggy ones I got last time. I don’t get why they don’t come that way automatically but at least it’s good to know it’s possible for some crispy potatoes. They forgot my salsa ranch on the sandwich but at least the waitress apologized and brought it out after I asked for mayo. She said, «do you not have your ranch salsa?» I said, «nope, nothing on this.» She was surprised. But for these prices, you shouldn’t have those kind of mistakes. It’s an $ 11 sandwich! It took our party a really long time to get drinks and order. To be fair they were really nice to store our cake and sing to the birthday girls. I didn’t pick the venue for the birthday celebration but I think they are just too busy to accommodate large groups like ours.

I haven’t been here in years. But, apart from the AC leaking near our table & the random little spiders that were falling on our table in booth the food was good. Plus, they accepted my coupon! Woo hoo! We were seated right away & it was not crowded at all for a Sunday evening. The host & our waitress were super nice & attentive. We had: splashberry drinks, spicy chicken ranch sandwich & onion rings, chicken noodle soup, and steak tips. The food was seasoned well.

Service is not that great but the food was not bad. You can get the same food at Denny’s for half the cost.

Not busy on the weekdays, totally packed during the weekends. Food is standard. Nothing too extraordinary. To me, it’s a little Better than Denny’s(too greasy sometimes)… But I’d stick to local breakfast spots. The biscuits and gravy were good, but not enough gravy. Husband likes their chicken fried steak… I called in my order for pick up… I think it depends who’s working. When I first arrived, the lady at the counter seemed a bit too busy to acknowledge me. A moment later, a second younger lady came up to the counter and was much more helpful and friendly…

Busy Sunday afternoon and the teenager wanted pancakes. First choice… Broken Yolk, but there was a 40+ minute wait. Second choice… Country Waffles, but they were a tad too far. So, this brought me here to IHOP. I have nothing against IHOP, just this one. The previous two times I’ve been here I have had bad service(i.e. wrong orders, under cooked food, forgotten about, etc). But the teen wants pancakes. What’s a dad to do? If I reviewed my last visit, I’d give them 2 stars. So, let’s start this rating from my previous visit. –We were quoted 15 minutes for our wait, but was seated even faster. Less than 5 minutes on a busy Sunday for a table… sweet! +1 Star to IHOP. Now, they’re up to 3 Stars. –Got our silverware and my fork was dirty. I showed my little girl. My fork either had dried yolk on it or it was a booger. Not taking any chances and requested for new silverware. –1 Star to IHOP. Now, they’re back down to 2 Stars. –Our Server was fantastic. Viviana was very attentive, especially since we sat outside. +2 Stars to IHOP. Up to 4 Stars. –Turkey Bacon: See the pictures, folks. This thang looked like two strips of rubber. Taste wasn’t good either. Now I know what a rubber band taste like. –1 Star Mr. IHOP. Back down to 2 Stars. –6 Egg White Omelet w/Spinach and Mushroooms: Again, see the pictures. But this time, I was not disappointed with my order. To my surprise, this egg white omelet was huge and very tasty for egg whites. They got this order right. My omelet was still fluffy and got me wondering if they used more than 6 eggs. +1 Stars to IHOP. Man, this is a lot of math. I got them back to a whopping 3 Stars. So, overall just 3 stars for me. Would I come back? Not by choice. However, if the teen is in the mood for some pancakes and the others aren’t an option, then it is what it is. UnilocalPERSONALCHALLENGE2013 —(473⁄500)
