I was very torn about doing this review. We have always enjoyed eating here when we are in town and really enjoy the food. I took my daughter and 5 grandkids here and was very disappointed when they brought one serving of chips and salsa for 7 people. When we asked for more they said there would be a charge. My daughter and a couple of her kids decided to move to another table and a seperate check. They still refused to bring additional chips. We decided to just go somewhere else since it was disappointing and not worth the frustration. Good food but their service needs some real help.

They mixed up my order and served me a salad for another table. The server then returned to my table and whipped my salad away to serve somebody else at another table. I could have sneezed on it or taken a bite. I was glad I wasn’t at the receiving end of that salad…

about the best Mexican food ive found around here so far… im from California so im spoiled when it comes to good Mexican food… but this place is good and the staff is excellent… cleanest restaurant ive been to since moving to Idaho.

Their salsa sucks; it tastes like they took a whole bottle of Cholula, and mixed it with tomatoes, onions, and water. It’s probably the worst salsa I’ve ever had. They said that I was the first person that ever complained about it, but I told them that most people probably can’t get past the spiciness to taste the terrible flavor.
Salsa aside, their food is okay, and their service is spot-​on! Their décor is a bit dated, but the place is clean.

I like Chapala. Their service is quick and the food is good. It’s not the best Mexican I’ve ever had, but it’ll do. Nice family place since the place is easy to carry on a conversation in. My family and I eat her maybe once a month or so and the food is consistent and we have had great service.

Really bad food. The taco salad had no taco at all. Bad customer service where we had to ask several times for salsa. The bathroom had no Toilet paper or seat cover.

I ate at this restaurant on my way back to Twin falls after a trip to yellow stone. The restaurant was clean, and the food fresh and nicely done.
The tortillas were warm and the grilled vegetables were fresh and flavorful. The taste was as good as in Mexican restaurants in the bay area.
