I brought my sister and the family here for her birthday dinner and it was delicious! The garlic rolls are buttery and Oooh soooo delicious. I could seriously eat the whole basket. … but that is probably frowned upon. You normally don’t come across a lot of BBQ places with a nice assortment of vegetarian options so this place gets 5 starts for that. … and the fact that the food was great and the atmosphere is very laid back. This is a great place for veggie and meat eaters alike. According to the meat eaters in the group the ribs were on point!

So for our 2 year anniversary, my boyfriend and I decided to have dinner at Yardhouse but somehow we ended up at Woodranch since we have never been there before. Honestly, no regrets! Okay, not only their food was AMAZING but their customer service was AMAZING as well, very very nice employees. Also, since it was our first time, our waitress was extremely helpful in helping us pick out our plates. We felt extremely welcomed by everyone. The atmosphere is more of a family restaurant but it’s beautiful, the food was so delicious(I’m not a meat person) i could definitely say we are coming back for more! Thank you for the great service Woodranch! I think we have found out new spot :)

Got here at 5:15-ish on a Friday night. The parking lot is an absolute nightmare but this place is definitely worth finding a parking spot to go to. I got the three meat combo which is under $ 30 and for good barbecue that’s a bargain. The beef ribs actually had meat on them not all bone like some places. The Carolina pulled pork was actual pieces of meat not fat pieces like other places. The tri tip was the perfect amount of tenderness and easy to cut through not tough or overcooked. The best part of the dining experience was our waiter Chris. Never let our waters go empty and always make sure everything was good checking in on us from time to time. Chris is the definition of a great waiter! We will definitely be back as their menu has a good selection of BBQ and we have to try the other items they have. BaBaBooey

The BBQ here is on fire! Or is it maybe that I’m just really hungry when I come here? Nah, the BBQ here is really good! I tend to not get an appetizer unless it may be something small like a soup or salad because the complimentary rolls they give you are really good! I ask for ranch and mix it with the BBQ sauce for dipping the rolls. If I don’t stop myself, I’ll get full on just the bread alone. I always get the Tri Tip or ribs, but since I gave up red meat for the Lent season I decided to try the BBQ chicken chopped salad. Surprisingly, it was filling for me. I didn’t even get to finish it. Then again, I did have about 6 rolls before eating it. The salad consists of mixed lettuces, Monterey jack, grilled corn, black beans, tomato, tortilla strips, carrots, scallions, cilantro, ranch and Original BBQ sauce. For those of you who can eat red meat, you can opt for Tri Tip instead of chicken. If you come hungry, you’ll definitely leave full. This place is always clean, even the restrooms. The inside kinda reminds me of a Black Angus. The servers are very nice. I asked for my salad without the black beans and it came out with it. The server was very apologetic and took it back quickly. The manager even came out after to greet us and apologized as well. It was no biggie, we weren’t in a rush to eat or like there was an object in my food. But when we received our bill, my salad was comped. A big THANKYOU for making the restaurant service that much better! Customer service and hospitality done the right way! It was like the cherry on top of a Sundae. This place is less than 5 minutes from us. But even if it wasn’t, I would definitely make the drive to come out here for the food and service. I’ll be back soon.

I’ve been living in the chino hills/diamond bar area my whole life and why have I not discovered wood ranch until now? That bothers me and I feel like I’ve missed out on finger licking good bbq!!! I personally like their bbq more than lucille’s. Their tri tip is cooked to perfection! Super tender and glazed with their original bbq sauce on the outside is my all time favorite! Coming in for a close second is the pecan wood roasted beef ribs with cherry chipotle sauce. You MUST try the cherry chipotle sauce! It’s my crack sauce with a creeping kick! The all American baby back ribs are good too but I don’t find them as unique as the others. As for sides, their fries are addicting and their Mac n cheese is surprisingly good too. I’ve been here twice in two weeks now and both times, everything was cooked consistently good so no worries about that. I had saved some leftovers so that I had a good meal to look forward to, but I had forgot to put it in the fridge! Don’t you hate it when that happens? I sure was mad at myself! D:

Reasonable price for Bbq. Lunch specials. & Great side order options. Nice upscale cherry wood interior, full Bar, and 16 Locations to choose from America best Tri tip Sandwich with the premium side of grilled asparagus is one of my favorites. Most other Bbq places only have one flavor of Bbq sauce for their beef ribs they have original and Cherry chipotle.

As with many chain locations it’s hard for the restaurant to move above a 3 unless they have excellent staff, and while we have eaten at several of the Wood Ranch Locations and the food is consistent it always seems to be the staff that brings these locations up an extra star, which is a credit to a company who can consistently get great staff members, Prices and selection are what you would expect, quality of food is a little above average, but again the staff is what make the restaurant. 3.5 stars for the quality of food, 4 stars for taste, and 5 stars for the outstanding staff members

I thought this place was decent, but I expected better for the price. The st. loius ribs I had were good, but not spectacular. I felt the same way about the sides. My dad had the tri tip which was excellent so I recommend that if you like tri tip. 5 dollars for a Strawberry Lemonade was a little on the pricey side, but that did include refills so keep that in mind. I really enjoyed their free bread too. The service and ambiance were okay, but again I expected a little more for the prices at this place. I think I will try Tahoe Joes or Joeys if I feel like BBQ in this area again.

I’ve been here a few times and it never disappoints. I usually order the baby back ribs because it’s my favorite plate from here. It was no different this time. I got the full rack and it was made perfectly with good flavor. One of my guests ordered the rainbow trout(blackened) which I tried myself and it was delicious! It was full of flavor with a variety of spices. Has a kick to it so if you like spicy, you’ll enjoy it. Service is always good here too. I’ve never had an issue with any of the waiters/waitresses. They’re on top of everything and you won’t have to wait long for anything. If you’re worried about wait time to be seated, make a reservation before. You can do it same day if needed.

This was my first time at the Chino Hills location, i usually go to the one in Arcadia at the Santa Anita Mall. You Still can never go wrong with Wood Ranch. Everything, and i mean Everything on the Menu is Amazing. Good Garlic Rolls to start with, Good appetizers, salads, meats, drinks, Etc. On this visit i tried the Tri Tip salad for the first time and it is like no other, amazing dressing and the tri tip is cooked perfect. My friend got a plate that i would normally get which had, tri tip, BBQ pulled pork and two sides. The BBQ chicken is also amazing here. The Staff and service here was great, we called in advance to make sure they were not out of tri tip(F.Y.I sometimes they do run out of the good stuff lol) they assured us they were fully stocked up. The atmosphere is very nice and very relaxing. Looking forward to dinning here again.

Yardhouse was 1 hour and 30 minute wait so we walked over to Wood Ranch. I ordered a Newport Lemon Cocktail and asked for Grey Goose Vodka instead. The drink was good. However, I needed something stronger so I asked for Grey Goose with a SPLASH of cranberry(I like to taste my liquor). So, since I asked for a splash of cranberry, my drink so taste mostly like Vodka, unfortunately, it tasted watered down. Our BBQ Tri Tip sliders was NOT good at all and I am not a picky eater. I took two bites and that was it for me. My boyfriend didn’t like it neither and we left the 3rd one there on the plate. Not once did the bartender ask how the food was or the drinks. They were nice though. I mean. I’ll give this place another try, but I don’t know. Maybe not.

This was my first ever Wood Ranch I ever tried out on the recommendation of my girl friends. We were all in this area for work and they suggested we meet here at Wood Ranch for happy hour. I want say happy hour is Mon-Fri 3−6p. We had about an hour to take advantage of the happy hour special by the time we arrived. Seating in the bar area wasn’t too bad around 5p. SPINACH-ARTICHOKEDIP $ 5 — it’s a small portion and we felt the dip was salty. They give you a lot of chips though(chips don’t look homemade) FRESHGUACAMOLE&CHIPS $ 5 — again, tiny portion of guacamole compared to amount of chips they give you. The guac was ok but nothing special KILLERWINGS $ 5 — they let us choose two flavors which was nice of them. I think we did the habanero and buffalo. The wings were dry. We did appreciate the ample amount of fresh carrots and celery though. I can’t remember what we had to drink from their HH menu that evening(and noooo, not because we drank a lot). I just can’t find any pics of the drinks. I just tried calling them to inquire about their HH drink options and the host couldn’t tell me a thing about it. Their website also makes no mention of what drinks or food is available during happy hour. You know the absolute best part of the meal. I know I should say the company with my awesome girlfriends but hey, let’s keep it real. It was the *free* garlic rolls man. They were so frekkin’ amazing. This is a beautiful restaurant and nice location. Too bad the happy hour menu wasn’t better and I can’t figure out what drinks we had that night. They recently opened a new location in San Diego so hoping the food is a bit better.
