Great family owned dry cleaner. Very friendly, and they pay close attention to your special requests. Unlike many cleaners these days, don’t ask you to pay up front. Quick turnaround, if you get in before about 9AM, same day cleaning. Also, had a few alterations here, been pleased with all their alteration work.

Every time I go here to drop off clothes, I promise myself it’s the last time… but it’s just so darn convenient. They have a front door on Clark and a back entrance just off of Sedgwick and are open 7 am — 7 pm. Too easy to get to! When I drop off clothes that are just ready for a refresher, they do a fine job. But when something has a mark or a stain, I’ve had some issues. I always point out the problem area and they mark it with tape, but I’ve had to take back 3 pieces that haven’t been cleaned thoroughly. I understand some stains can’t come off — I just wish they would tell me up front or try again if that was the case. Luckily, they don’t charge you for the second(or third) time when that’s the case. Either way, the prices are absurd and they only take cash/check. The location is convenient and the service is fast. Sooo I guess that evens out to a 3?

I’ve gotta say, I don’t have much experience with other dry cleaners/tailors(and now that I think about it, I probably never will since Stephanie’s gives me no reason to stray), but I think Stephanie’s nails everything they do. The owner(Stephanie?) and her husband are sweet and welcoming. Somehow they remember me, regardless of how long it’s been since I dropped off my last batch of dirtiness. They’ve never taken more than two days to get my work clothes back into wearable form and their prices seem fair(again, not sure what the competition is charging). And my favorite feature is — as their homemade, construction paper sign in the window proudly proclaims — that they do original hems on jeans. And for $ 10! Now, that’s one place where I know they put the competition to shame. I’ve paid 2 – 3 times that much for similar results. Only drawback I see(and this may be standard): Cash or check only.

Ok first off i really wish I could rate this cleaners like 10 because that is what it deserves. I have NO idea what this rebecca woman is talking about down thre but I go here every single week and dont have a feeling of being ripped off. If you can not afford the services of this cleaners than maybe you should try a different one. I mean according to you it imight be expensive but on the other side welcome to LIncoln Parkk rebecca its not as cheap as wherever u are used to getting your laundry. :)

The only reason I continue to go here is because it’s about half a block away. They rip you off worse then any dry cleaner I’ve been to in the city — ridiculous. I need to be not so lazy and walk a few blocks up Clark to go somewhere else…

A hard working husband-wife team run this small, convenient cleaners. And let me tell you, there is nothing like a super clean cleaners. I had to walk through their place to the dressing room(for alterations) and there wasn’t a pin out of place. I love that they have a back entrance, so it is only ½ block from my house. The alterations are excellent and reasonable(what is reasonable?), and the service is relatively quick. The lady is super sweet and I love how she scurries to fetch your clothes. Open 7 am to 7 pm Monday to Saturday.

I really like Stephanie’s Cleaners. They seem to be on the expensive side for city dry cleaners, but they have a fast turnaround and a really friendly staff. My husband and I go through over $ 100 worth of dry cleaning in a month so we need someone we can trust! No issues with them at all so far. They also do alterations.
