This Statbucks is very convenient but it is too small! There is only one register so they c an only take care of one customer at a time. Imagine on a weekday morning when every single person staying at this Courtyard comes down and wants a coffee before they go to work!!! Let me tell you it is chaos and pandemonium!!! And it takes a year to get a cup of coffee! The coffee is the same as other Starbucks so if you manage to make it to the front of the line you know what to expect.

This place is smaller than Lance Armstrong’s conscience. If more than 3 patrons are in there it feels mighty tight. I recommend you go to the Starbucks a block down on Erie and St Clair or to any of the 30 Starbucks within a 1 mile radius.

Restaurant Review This place is puny! Based on all the other reviews you are better off going to other locations around here including the corporate store on Starbucks. The shop itself has barealy enough room for 5 people. They do not honor starbucks promotion. So if you want a quick drink or snack this is the location to visit, but otherwise walk away! Pro– it has starbuck coffee Con– super small store, does not honor starbucks promo Hidden deal– None

You truly are better off going to the newly opened Starbucks that is just down the street at 633 North Saint Clair Street(cross street is Erie, opposite corner of Corner Bakery). Not only does that new location boast great customer service, a cozy ambiance, and enough seating space, but they charge close to 25 cents less that what is charged at this location on Ontario. Plus, the coffees at this location are not made that well. Why this place is more expensive is beyond me, but it feels like dishonest business practices. PS– the address is Ontario, but the entrance to this little store is on St. Clair. You will see Dunkin Donuts before you actually find the entrance to this place.

Mom was browsing the stores on N. Michigan, and you all know what that means – lots of standing, sitting, and waiting! A few hours in, I thought I was going to PTFO. If I was going to survive the next few hours, I needed to find some caffeine, so I opened up the Sbux app and ran to the nearest café. This has to be the worst location for a Sbux… ever! It might be convenient for those staying at the hotel, but seriously, why bother opening half a café? This location can’t accommodate very many people(even those who are waiting for drinks!); there’s no seating area and therefore no WIFI; and lastly, the entrances are pretty well-hidden(there are signs but they aren’t as helpful as you might think). Save yourself some trouble and go elsewhere for your coffee!

I’m stating what others have already pointed out — this place is TINY. They also don’t accept the Starbucks electronic payments via smartphone, which is a bummer. Staff were friendly, but they really can’t accommodate more than 5 people(yea, it is that small). My advice — walk a block south on Michigan Ave — there is a huge SBUX there.

I have never had worse service at a Starbucks. I have been here numerous times because it is close to my building, and the staff has been rude every time. They spill the coffee when they plop it on the tiny counter, huff when I ask for an additional item, and never make eye contact. Whenever I get a bagel or muffin it is hard and seems stale. At least the coffee is acceptable. Absolutely AWFUL location.

Great if you need to pop in for a coffee, and continue on your way. If you’re looking for a place to sit and linger, then this location is not for you. If anything, stop by to admire just how small it is.

Smallest Starbucks I’ve been to. Also, there was a sign on the other side of the Marriott building, so I couldn’t find the place until someone pointed me in the right direction. I wanted to order a strawberry smoothie with protein, but they ran out of bananas so I was pretty bummed about that. They suggested a different strawberry drink; it was meh. Fail. $ 6 wasted. But overall, the size of the place turned me off because I didn’t know where to stand after I ordered my drink. It got pretty crowded. Not even one place to sit. Note to self: Not all Starbucks are created equal.

This may very well be the smallest Starbucks I’ve ever seen. If you want an idea of scale, imagine a closet that serves coffee. That being said, the service and the product were both fine. They get dinged a few starts from having nearly no room inside the store and having nowhere to sit.

Sure, it’s in a hotel so it’s constrained by size, but the staff is awesome, and always make me laugh. In fact, often times, they’re the best part of the work day. There’s also deals if you buy a refillable thermos … which really makes it worthwhile, and something that pays for itself.

This place is the worst Starbucks for miles and miles. Its always packed(if there are more than 2 customers in this tiny space, you are tripping over each other) It takes forever to process a credit card(which you then have to sign for) The staff often seems a bit frantic, and yet they are painfully slow — even on the best day. They try to be friendly, but its salt in the wound when your average visit here is around 15 minutes just for a latte. All I can think is «GETMEMYDAMNCAFFEINE then you are entitled to be chipper, ok??» Don’t make me an addict then take your sweet time delivering that budget-busting ‘hit’, ok?“ Today the barista made several drinks incorrectly for the people ahead of me, which slowed things down exponentially. She then had to remake said drinks… Also, there have been several instances where they have been out of various key items.(You know, little things like Soy and/or Skim Milk). Getting coffee in this place just never goes smoothly. I’m generally pretty patient and polite, but these repeated offenses combined with my caffeine addiction tends to morph me into the ‘Incredible Hulk’ of bitchy customers, bringing out terrible attributes. You’ve encountered other ‘Incredible Hulk’ style bitches — you know, the ones you see around town who at the first indication of delay or incompetence begins steaming, gets redfaced and irritated, begins to audibly sigh, makes snippy comments, rolls her eyes and taps her fingers on the countertop and then storms out when the necessary goods are received. Its not pretty. Bottom line: Its absolutely painful to go in here. Even though this location is steps from my office, I have learned to walk over to the one on Ontario and State. Its consistently a million times better experience and their speedy, accurate caffeine delivery allows me to remain in my original polite, patient human form.
