Probably my favorite coffee in the city and I don’t really like coffee that much. Their drip coffee and espresso is so smooth, not at all bitter. Their chai latte and café au lait are my favorites. I’ve not tried their baked goods yet but it’s a lovely, cozy place with friendly people who take time to craft every drink with care. Prices are on par with any other coffee shop so I feel like it’s definitely worth going there rather than the two Starbucks nearby.

Needed to kill time before a dinner reservation so came in here. We ordered a capuccino and some gelato(hazelnut and chocolate chip). The gelato was average, but still good.

Cute little coffee shop near Michigan Ave. Feels like you are enjoying an espresso in Europe. Nice outdoor seating. Price is average for a coffee shop. I tried the hot chocolate($ 3.15 for a medium) which was delicious and not too sweet. The gelato also looked great.

The espresso was smooth, delicious and reasonably priced. Will definitely be back every morning for an espresso.

Great service and awesome coffee. The medium mocha was so large! Very cool hangout spot and I loved the coffee themed art.

We loved our iced caffè mochas! I thought it was going to be way too sweet, but it turned out to be rich and chocolatey with a great, deep coffee flavor. I was very happy with it! Price was around $ 4.95 for a large. Nothing you won’t pay any less for at Starbucks lol. We didn’t try any pastries or treats, but it all looked tasty! Give it a try. I think they serve drinking chocolate. Mmm… next time!

Quick and friendly service. Coffee is delicious and genuinely strong. The local art and décor displayed is wonderful to look at while you have your drink. The blt is ok. Good not great.

After a light bite in the area, I was craving gelato. Trusty Unilocal showed that Lavazza wasn’t too far away so I decided to quell my craving. The gelato was ok for me, just average. I went for the cappuccino and pistachio. Was definitely anticipating a richer deeper flavor for the pistachio, but it was largely missing. There were little chards of ice in the cappuccino that made me feel it wasn’t super fresh.

This place is right next to the inn of Chicago. Me and my gf had breakfast here the day we checked out. By this time we were broke and didn’t want to spend a lot of money so Lavazza came through. We spent $ 20 on two croissants and two coffees. Not bad for Chicago. Not to mention it was pretty good and fast. Passing by it might not call your attention but it’s definitely worth it! Good coffee.

Any place that serves coffee in a mug vs a paper cup for those dining in, is a winner! This is a cute coffee shop near mag mile! Lavazza is one of my favorites so I just get the coffee black but it appears they have some fun interesting froofy drinks as well. They also sell sandwiches, soup, and gelato. Barista was not the most friendly but they provide fast service. Great choice over Starbucks! Best seat in the house = next to the large window.

This is a perfect addition to the Eataly complex as it is an iconic Italian coffeehouse. The baristas work tirelessly supplying not only grocery shoppers, but commuters coming in off the street. My drink was made perfectly and was in my hand less than 2 minutes after ordering. What more can I ask for?

Sunrise muffin was delish. Yesterday I had the lowfat blueberry. It had a chewy texture to it, probably woulda been better toasted, next time I’ll try that. Also the barista was very pleasant and friendly.

Love this place! Although the café can be cuter and more of an open space, the coffee is great and there aren’t too many people there. It’s quiet and good for people watching. I always get the regular black coffee because when the coffee is good, you don’t need cream or sugar.

Like some froth in your espresso? This place offers the classics as well some combinations you probably haven’t heard about. Much more original than Starbucks.

Excellent drinks for entire family including three kids. Ham and cheese quiche was excellent, almond latte was excellent, kids loved Nutella croissant. Something good for entire family. Just wish they had more space, but definitely worth stopping. We will return next time in Chicago

This place has NOOUTLETS. It’s miserable to try to come here to have a coffee and catch up on emails or work for an hour bits lovely and great coffee and people but I’ve never known a café to have no outlets. Which sucks because this is my neighborhood café and I would come everyday if they did. If there is a change I would be there daily. I hope they do. *fingers crossed*

I worked here for Lavazza for a few months and it was hands down one of the most fun jobs I’ve ever had. I couldn’t have had better coworkers and I regard the owners Sam and Seniha Karatas highly. They really care about the café and are always looking for ways to improve it whether it be seasonal menu items or improving the menu board. I absolutely loved working here and the food and coffee are so worth trying! The only thing I would say could be improved is maybe the seating? It is a very small space and when it becomes crowded, it is hard to navigate. Other than that 5 stars.

Love the coffee. Staff was friendly. I just found that I can get Lavazza in the store but this was way better.

This place is hands-down disgusting. I was in Chicago and meeting a friend for coffee, and she just picked this place randomly. I wish she wouldn’t have. When you walk in, there’s a ceiling art installation or something like that with bottles all over the coffee area. It looked like it hadn’t been dusted in years. I really could not care less about how good or bad the coffee was when you have to worry about age-old dust falling into your cappuccino. Very unappetizing. Ultimately, we just sat outside in one of the two tables left. Definitely wouldn’t go back here.

I usually just get a coffee, but today someone introduced me to the idea of a fun dessert: Affogato. Wikipedia: «An affogato(Italian, „drowned“) is a coffee-based beverage. It usually takes the form of a scoop of vanilla gelato or ice cream topped with a shot of hot espresso. Some variations also include a shot of Amaretto or other liqueur.» I think I have a new favorite: I got it with pistachio: a fun way to combine all your dessert services into one dish. Friendly and fast service, not too crowded on Sunday afternoon.
