Are you currently looking for a review of Qdoba on Unilocal?Do you look at instructions on how to walk properly online? Do you heavily weigh online reviews of socks for months before ordering? Do you research for months on end the proper etiquette at gym watering fountains? It’s Qdoba idiot! You already know what it’s like! Just get a 32oz soda cup full of queso like everyone else and move on dummy.

I got a pretty good coupon for Qdoba and I had never been so I thought I’d give it a try. First, the woman working at the register was SUPER nice. I didn’t catch her name, but she had glasses and brown hair. Anyway, she was really helpful and friendly. she recommended I try the chicken queso burrito. Great suggestion, it was delicious. She also made a spot on recommendation for my boyfriend who loved what he ordered as well. I absolutely love authentic Mexican food as well as Chipotle. Chipotle and Qdoba are by no means authentic Mexican food. For a quick fix, though, this isn’t bad. I did not have high hopes to begin with because of my extreme loyalty to Chipotle, but I was pleasantly surprised. The burrito tasted like a fast food burrito(and not healthy at all) but it was really good. I also got a free drink because I am a student and free chips and salsa for registering the card they gave me. So, 2 burritos, two drinks, and chips and salsa with my coupon ended up being $ 8. Not bad!

It’s a good location and has a good staff. I’d say it’s above-average when it comes to a restaurant in this category.

I love Qdoba! It’s my guilty pleasure, I could eat here every day but then I would probably die from a queso clot. I recommend the queso burrito, bbq burrito(it’s good, really… try it), or the nachos(with the chips on the side), however everything here is pretty fantastic. Qdoba is better than Chipotle with their wider selection of meats, entrees and sauces, plus their queso is like crack. The employees at this location are great as well.

We came here for their Mexican Cooking Class and it was GREAT!!! They had some nice drinks for everyone, as well as a fresh salsa station, guacamole and table salsa station. We were taught how to change flavors quickly and easily, add texture, and the difference between different peppers and pepper preparations. Right after the groups went around to each station, they provided shredded pork tacos. The groups also got to try each other’s «creations». We can’t forget the warm cheese dips and fruit skewers… and not to mention grilled pineapple with caramel and nuts for dessert! The corporate staff were knowledgeable, fun and very passionate about the Qdoba brand. The food was tasty, we learned some good tips and got some nice recipes. The attendees were laid back and social, and we enjoyed the fact that the group was small… made things more intimate and personal. They had a raffle and gave away some cool prizes and everyone received a goody bag with peppers, an apron and some recipes. Nice job Qdoba!!!

This place has bought my loyalty… I frequented Chipotle… and am still a lover of them, but I can’t resist the tasty sauces and menu options at Qdoba; and their REWARDS card is awesome. I went one day, placed my order, stepped over to pay, as I handed over my $ 10 bill, she had already swiped my rewards card and said«no need, your rewards covered your meal!!» Sh******t! This is my spot!

I ate at this place once over the summer because I was at DePaul for an event. I enjoyed it but didn’t think twice about it afterward. During the fall, I won some free meals here at a raffle and ate there a few times for free. I got addicted to it and I end up going all the time. Qdoba has a loyalty card you scan when you order and accumulate points. After you purchase ten items, you get one free. When you register the card on-line, you automatically get a free order of chips and salsa. I got an email about a week ago from Qdoba stating that I was in the top 10 loyalest Qdoba card members, they rewarded me with a free entrée. They really care about their customers. I also get surveys on my receipt that, when completed, either get my a free fountain drink or entry in a $ 10, 000 sweepstakes. They really reward their loyal customers. The food here is great. I think their queso burrito is one of the best burritos I have ever had. All of their food is good, though. The taco salads are my second favorite. The employees are always very nice as well. Also, don’t forget to sign up for their email list, I get coupons all the time from them. They know what they are doing.

Basically it’s a step up from taco bell. Not quite chipotle. If you want yummy nachos this is the spot, everything else is so so.

Yes, I view this chain as my new stepmom. She’s not Chipotle; she’s not gonna be Chipotle; and I wish I could stop comparing her to Chipotle. But I do. But much like the nice stepmom, this place is there for me in the middle of the night when I need someone to fix me something to eat(until 3am, not too shabby). And the food is okay. //end simile// And the people at this location are decent and they throw enough coupons and promotions my way to keep them on my mind.

as others have said its qdoba or chipotle… i choo choo choose qdoba now i either went here on a really good day or others have come on a bad one cause i loved their americanized mexican fast food i like being able to pick my own toppings and level of spiciness(with salsa)…and i love that theyve played around with recipes containing traditional ingredients friendly service and clean eatery i suggest the nachoes… with everything of course ;)

Oh man, the chips are awesome, totally unnatural, but so good. I only really come here when I’m drunk, but that’s really the only time to eat this kind of burrito. It’s a lot like Chipotle, but with a melty awesome cheese. It’s open late, decently fast, pretty cheaep and yummy! Super good drunk food.

I only give this chain one star because somehow they have chemically altered their tortilla chips to be addictive. The chips have a feint lime taste and a saltiness that prevents you from eating just a whole bag, without salsa. Otherwise, everything else they offer will turn your stomach within 10 minutes of eating it. The burrito tortillas and soft taco tortillas must be made with glue. I’m sure they are designed to survive all the worthless stuff they pack into them, but these glue tortillas are far from what I would consider a «food». More like an edible wrapping plastic. The meat they serve is low-grade and God knows where they buy their meat. Could be Smithfield product for all we know.(And if you don’t know how despicable Smithfield’s is, Google them) Do your internal organs and health a great favor and stay away from this dump. Go to Chipotle if you have to have cheap Mexican food. Chains like this sell all the same garbage, offerings that wouldn’t make the top 100 list of decent nutrition, and certainly nowhere near the«super foods» category. Qudoba literally is the worst fast food you will ever eat or waste money on, unless you actually pay to rummage through garbage cans for leftovers. Don’t forget, everything that goes into your Qudoba burrito has been lurched over for hours, prodded with contaminated utensils, sneezed in, spit in and generally mishandled. Have you ever noticed how much«stuff» your body emits when the sun hits the air just right? Well, now think about how much gets added to your fast food by God-knows-who or what. It’s all nasty people. You eat out these days, anywhere, and you are asking for trouble. Enjoy your salmonella, your swine/mexican flu and your TB with extra cheese. You want cheap and nasty, you’re getting just that. MMM-MMMM-MMMMMM!

Look, they’ll put whatever you ask them to put on a burrito. Maybe I’m easy to please, but I’ve had upscale Mexican restaurants tell me I couldn’t have lettuce on my burrito because it would, «confuse the kitchen.» At Qdoba, I literally asked the guy, «What comes on the vegetarian burrito?» and he answered, «Just tell me what you want on it and I’ll put it on.» I probably could have said steak and he would have put it on for me. Also, they have grilled zucchini — holy crap, a fast food vegetarian burrito that has more than just beans and cheese! The staff was super upbeat. They could have(should have) been jaded from all the drunk DePaul students that I’m sure frequent the place, but instead they were fun and engaging.

NOFLAVOR. After I’m done eating here I feel like awful for wasting my money on it. Get Chipotle instead. Qdoba offers dry rice and bland flavored meat. Their cueso is alright and since chipotle doesn’t sell it they win that one.

Many ponder the question: Qdoba or Chipotle? My vote: Chipotle! Why? Qdoba has: –low quality meat(fatty, non-whitemeat chicken) –low quality tortillas(which have an odd property of sticking to the inside of your mouth) –dried out rice –very liquidy black beans –they put things that don’t belong in their corn salsa The last few times I’ve gone to Qdoba, I’ve just felt like I’m eating for cheap sustenance, not a tasty lunch. Which is quite the opposite of how I feel at Chipotle.

I like to rate things for what they are, not«in the grand scheme of things,» generally. I’m rating Qdoba for what it is — «Mexican» fast food. I could go either way with this place or Chipotle when I’m craving a huge sort-of-good burrito that I actually prefer taking home and sticking in the oven to, you know, make it HOT(both places are so so so FAIL in this department) and modify it in other ways(adding superhot sauce and sour cream and jalapenos, etc). However, Qdoba wins. And they win HARD. They give me WAY more meat every time(mmm barbacoa), there are so many variations and options for ingredients and different combos(re: sauces and such), and although I haven’t tried it yet, they have a soup! Nice. I like a soup. The service there has also been great. They’re really nice and take the time to double-wrap a burrito in an extra tortilla if it’s spilling over with tons of generously-portioned contents, instead of just letting it make a huge mess in the bag.

I may have found a burrito to rival that of Chipotle. I know, it’s blasphemous to even suggest that something could be better than Chipotle, but seriously. It’s like a Chipotle burrito with queso sauce in it(that’s just fake, melted, spicy cheese sauce) — yum! I’ve been here twice now — both times after 10 p.m. I have gotten the Veggie burrito and a side order of chips and my boyfriend always gets a plain quesadilla. We’ve both been super happy with our food. I don’t think the chips were as good as Chipotle’s(they have a hint of lime with salt — unrivaled excellence) but the burrito was excellent. The choice of ingredients are exactly the same and it tastes just as delicious as Chipotle’s. The service has always been friendly, which surprises me late at night. Usually the people who staff the late night joints are bitter and angry(rightly so — working at 1 a.m. sucks) but these guys are friendly and quick. As long as my boyfriend keeps playing shows at Lilly’s down the street, we’ll continue coming here to satisfy our late night burrito cravings.

The cashier was very friendly, but the positive stops there. I got the naked veggie burrito, and it was not very good. Lukewarm, and prety bland. I don’t think I would go back even if I was drunk.

Not bad for a slightly authentic Mexican eatery. They’ve got all your basics on the menu(burritos, nachos, tacos, etc.). When I’m hungry I’m the first one to admit I get a little bitchy(actually probably the 2nd, my mom being the first). After a morning of running errands in the heat I needed to put something in my tummy and Qdoba was close by. It was around 2 so I wasn’t surprised the place was practically empty otherwise I’d consider it a bad sign. I got the veggie burrito, which was good, a little heavy on the rice, but good. To me it was very Chipotle-esque, but with out the hassle of dealing with my Chipotle nemesis. I did enjoy the wide salsa/sauce selection, which I didn’t expect to find at a chain place. If you’ve got your car with you going here is a hassle. They were doing work on Lincoln when I went and so it was very chaotic, but luckily I’m a good and quick parallel parker so any road rage situations were avoided. Bottom line decent food and from what I’ve read late hours. I’d go back. They also have a Qdoba card, I assume it gets you coupons and possibly free meals if you go there a lot.

Major fan of late-night burritos. I wish they had this joint up in Lincoln Square… The burrito(grilled veggie with chicken) was delicious. I inhaled it. Huge plus: zucchini and squash and grilled red peppers and black beans. What a treat. I can’t remember all the other toppings I got on it, probably various salsas and lettuce… But these meals majorly helped with the day-after hangover. Had it not been for the enormous burrito of goodness, my next-days would be a much greater struggle. I found the location clean. Prices to be on the high side of reasonable, but whenever I’ve gone, I would pay about anything to get one of those burritos. I like it better than Chipotle, which unfortunately are more prevalent.
