Waiting for my midnight train and thought I’d grab Popeyes in Ogilvie. I paid $ 9 and some change for a large soda and tenders that were so thin I fully believe it was one tenderloin sliced into 3 pieces. Incredibly disappointed with this location. I added an image to give an example of what I mean.

This is pretty much a typical Popeyes with good food. However, beware ordering naked tenders. Last time I did, it took about 20 minutes for them to come out.

This place is the worst. Angry, almost hostile service. Same guy that owns this franchise also owns the Subway and Indian restaurant in the ogilvie food court. Want some stale and dry as a bone chicken? Eat here and chip a tooth.

Popeye’s is a restaurant that is famous for its fried chicken; I have been there several times. I think it is a good restaurant, their waiters are really kind, I like the service, also their food is delicious, has a nice appearance, and their menu price is low, so you can have full satiety and only spend a little money. First, I would say, service in Popeye’s is good. They are quite friendly, their words are kind, and they are respectful for customers. One time I ordered fried chicken, but they were running out of it, so they told me to take a seat and said they would call me when it is done. Good service is really important for a restaurant. Then, the food there is good. It is awesome that spicy flavors turn out to be spicy, because not all restaurants can make spicy foods spicy! It is worth mentioning their mashed potato; the sauce on the top is fantastic! The fried chicken looks great as well, I love the golden color without burning or overcooking, and it tastes as good as its perfect looking-crispy outside and tender inside. Next, their menu prices are low. For example, two pieces of chicken, regular side, biscuit, BBQ sauce, and small drink only cost $ 6.99. Overall, Popeye’s is a good restaurant with good service, flavor and inexpensive menu price; for me there is no better choice. Since I went there the first time, I have been there twice, three times. If there is a Popeye’s nearby I would go there without hesitate when I am starving. Picture of Popeye’s:

Well they did it again, order the 5 piece special and got all wings and thighs. The side was a mall supposed to be a large, no breasts no legs, They do this to the commuters and this is the second time for me that this has happened, Never again.

They use stale oil to fry their sh*t. The winner who seems to be an illiterate ass***le Indian guy is very cunning. He overcharges and tries to make you buy expensive stuff. Save your money and try out other good stuff in the food court.

We tried their new Bayou Buffalo Wicked Chicken. Though it was very attractive food — almost«pretty»(fire-engine red,) the chicken was squishy and squeaked when chewed. We’ll be sticking with the Taco Bell across the food court — now THEY have their game together!

Sad tiny pieces of chicken. I’ve never seen anyone try to intentionally give as little food as possible for their already overpriced menu.

If this is the location in Ogilvie food court then it is the worst Popeyes ever. Not only do they charge you roughly 20% of a markup on their food compared with normal brick-and-mortar Popeyes locations, they also refuse to honor their own coupons. I walked 6 blocks to redeem one of their coupons which I had received that very same day, and when I got they told me they would not accept it. The food is the same as any other location, but the management is horrible and cheap. PS — Mcdonalds in the same food court WILL accept competitor coupons.

After a long day of work, with a few hours left to go, one would expect getting food to be simple. Not today. The customer ahead of me had to remind the worker about food he should have gotten & didn’t. The worker argued with him until the cashier stepped in and confirmed the customer was right. Finally my food is up and I am given my drink that has spilled all down the sides and I tell them the two sauces I want. They tell me I only get one. Wow, that’s rude. They don’t even give you ketchup, they probably charge for that too. Horrible service and cold food. I’d choose another food place and pass this one up, unless you like to fight for food you already paid for.

It’s a Popeye’s. Pretty quick. Helpful staff. Manager specials. If you like Popeye’s and/or like fried chicken, check it out.

the cashiers were friendly and seemed happy to take my order(pretty rare for fast food places) — the chicken was pretty juicy compared to other places I have tried I would recommend trying this place… when you craving for some fried chicken, and they’re open to pretty late as well

This Popeyes is just like any other Popeyes except for one thing… It’s completely run by Indians! I was shocked, usually fast food places are completely run by Hispanics but this time it was completely run by Indians. It’s weird that I have gotten used to the Hispanic way of English and I had a hard time communicating with the cashier. I even found a hair in my food. Needless to say I’m not going back, but the chicken still tasted like any other Popeyes. I prefer KFC…
