Pretty bad quality. Rude person at counter. I wish I could 0 stars. Kept waiting for an order for more than 30 mins.

Yummy Indian food! This place has really good butter chicken. The samosas are really worth it and the staff is super friendly!

So much food for $ 9.98! I was hesitant about trying an Indian food at a train station but hey it was good!

They’re food is stale! They served me food that was cooked at least a few days ago! I know Indian food and this is the worst place to eat!

The flavors were all there but the execution was not. The goat curry had all of the right flavors but the meat was tough and a chore to eat. The naan was not good and the rice was clumpy. On top of that, this was an extremely expensive lunch, running almost $ 12 with no drink. For the amount and quality of the food you get, it was not worth it. One thing I did like was that I was given a mango and cilantro sauce. The mango sauce was excellent and almost tasted like a mango lasse, which provided a sweet and cool element for the hot and spicy curry. So if you do eat here, make sure to ask about the mango sauce. But this isn’t a place I would re-visit again.

The line for Taco Bell in Ogilve Transportation Center was exceptionally long, so I tried this place so I didn’t have to wait in line. I feel as though this place is a little bit overpriced for what was offered. The food tasted okay, but it wasn’t worth the price. The dish was also 95% white rice, which was a little disappointing. Oh well, it was worth a try. Next time, I’ll just wait in line or walk to Blaze, Yolk or Haba Nero.

Food quality is okay. They didn’t have what I ordered, and I didn’t get my chutneys which were supposed to be included with the meal. Portion size is a little smallish.

I work upstairs in the offices and I used to eat the chicken biryani here about once a month for lunch, but Rizwana convinced me to try the Chicken Korma one time and I was totally impressed — what amazing flavor — and I’ve been eating it 2 – 3 times a week for a couple months now. It’s really delicious. Their chicken biryani is ok, but after trying the entrée meal which comes with fresh rice, naan bread and your choice of side(meat and veggie options) — I think the entrée serving suits the food much better. If you’re not sure what to try don’t hesitate to ask for samples. Even as a regular they’re constantly encouraging me to sample the other flavors.

The bad reviews here scared me off at first, but the good reviews plus the fact that they had an offer for $ 5off online orders for first time customers convinced me to give it a try. Glad I did. I ordered the chicken biryani which was pretty good other than being a tad spicier than I prefer, but that’s probably a sign of good indian food. They serve halal meat which is awesome and they also have all of their food out for free sampling if you’d like see/taste it before ordering. Probably will be going back to try other items.

The curry lamb was tasty, but my God the portion was 99.9% rice and 2 wee-little bitty pieces of lamb. Rent must be very high for $ 10.50 lunch special they should call it lamb flavored rice.

This place is fantastic. I was completely shocked how delicious the food was. I normally don’t expect much from the food court at the train station. Now I need an excuse to go there! The friendly woman at the counter gave me a sample of chicken tikka and chicken korma. They were both awesome. I chose the chicken tikka with a side of okra. Delicious!

Going again after a year to see if they have changed but nope. Still very bad quality of food, not authentic ingredients and way too overpriced.

Very very bad food — so bad that I had to order more food after this one. We ordered a home delivery via foodler — saag paneer and chhole. Saag paneer tasted horrible, and had no paneer in it. It smelled and looked like some rotten goo. Chhole had very few chhole and lot of potatoes in it. And it was very dry — no gravy in it. I’m in an Indian, so I know how how Indian food tastes like. Believe me, this is not a place you would want to visit if you are hankering for a nice meal.

Worst customer service ever. The girl working there was extremely rude. I asked her to give me the water that comes with pani puri with dahi puri, instead of pani puri. And she said no she cannot make it to go with dahi puri, and that it only comes with pani puri. So I told her I will pay extra for the side of water, and she said no that water only comes if I buy pani puri. How rude. But that was not it. Then I saw a coupon for a free samosa here on Unilocal if I check in at this place, she said she never she’s never heard of this. She said she will call her owner and ask. She went inside and«talked» to the owner and said he will make an exception for me this time, but they’re not allowed to use this coupon! I’m sorry but why do you have a coupon on Unilocal if you don’t want customers to use it. That is very rude and unprofessional. I would give them zero stars if I could. And actually about to complain to Unilocal about them. I didn’t care about a small samosa. I just saw the coupon here to decided to use it. But they made it seem like they’re doing a favor on me and will make an «exception» this time.

Wow the bad reviews?! This place is pretty awesome! I’ve been to Indian Swaad twice now, and I have to say everything I had was absolutely F*cking delicious. I was completely shocked for a food court to have an Indian restaurant that tasted so good! I don’t think the prices are over the top either. For what you get its pretty good. A full meal for about 12 bucks isn’t so bad. I’m guessing most of the cheap skates that ordered here expected a price point like McDonald’s when the quality is higher. I spent $ 18 my first visit and that was me ordering entirely too much food, but I wanted to try it. Am I the efficianado of Indian food? Hell no, but I know flavor and this place has it. The chili chicken is my favorite as well as the chili chicken rice. I will definitely be back. Not even kidding. They gave me some $ 5 off coupons so I will put them to good use!

WAYOVERPRICED… One entrée is 8.99 $ and two entrees are 12.49 $(WITHOUTTAX) I’ve never seen this pricing anywhere for a FASTFOOD stall. The non vegetarian items are bad while the vegetarian food is OK. The NAAN and DAL are only saving grace. There are other restaurants nearby like Klay Oven and Mughal india which are way cheaper. the biryani is way spicier here and spicy in a bad way. Don’t even think about the CHATs. I wouldn’t go so far saying not to go to this place, but before going please find out about this place though friends who actually eaten at this place. The only reason i am writing this review is, i feel this place is HUGELY Ripping off people for mediocre food which is unethical. Just to give a idea, other restaurants in this place: without taxes KLAYOVEN(8.99), BOMBAYWRAP(7.99) URBANMARKET(8 $) NAANSENSE(9 $)

I don’t know, maybe we were lucky. We have lived in heavily Indian communities, up to 20% of the population, and the chicken biryani here was as good as I have tasted. We only tried that one dish, but it was amazing. I noticed someone complaining that there were potatoes in it. Ah, but what potatoes! So savory. The chicken was exquisite. All the spices were incredible. The rice was perfect. I certainly would come back here in a heartbeat. If only they had such a fast food restaurant in the suburbs!

Chicken Biryani has a dominant hot spice, unbalanced flavor and the chicken bits was dry and inedible. There are potato chunks as filler.

Worst Indian Food I’ve ever had. I’d give it zero stars if I could. Went Sunday of the Pride parade and the place wasn’t busy and I love indian food so… Lamb dish, a soupy greasy grissly mess. Hair in the chicken biryani Potatoes in the chicken biryani tasted like they were spoiled. the best things: the basmati rice and the naan. Unfortunately you only get ½ a piece of naan with the order. Didn’t have the dessert we wanted. AND surly cashier to boot.
