Went looking for this bakery upon a recommendation from a co-​worker. It’s such a hole in the wall that I actually drove past it twice without finding it! I would never have known they were open except I finally saw a lady walk out with two large bags. Walking in I was happily surprised to see rows of clean bakery cases filled with all sorts of goodies! Unfortunately I had no idea what was what but the guy behind the counter was really friendly and came out to help me navigate the large assortment of tasty looking pasteries. I ended up with about a dozen assorted cookies, cakes, empanadas and the last three of their specialty guava and cheese pasteries… oh so good! I will be back for more of those for sure! The taste of lechon I had was also delicious… I will be back another weekend for more of that as well. And the best part was the grand total for over a dozen items that took my family three days to finish was a wallet friendly $ 10!

I stop in here on mornings that I’m too lazy to make breakfast or have no food in the house. It’s between my house and the Healy Metra station. The pastries are dirt cheap and I have had many filling breakfasts for under 2 dollars.
