They had very FAST Service and Great food! It was $ 1 or $ 2 sandwich day and they did great! The line was organized and moved very fast! BRAVO staff! 2HOT Reasons I LOVE this particular store… The management and staff were super friendly and engaging They gave me ideas for a better order for my money(seriously who does that?) The food was fresh quick and easy and I was able to order via mobile The fact that their sweet tea was great made it a big plus for me

After a brief«closed for remodeling» hiatus, they reopened. Jimmy Johns apparently thought that their money would be best spent by angling the cashier’s station and taking out some of their(very limited) seating. Now, it’s almost impossible to get a seat in there at lunch time. I guess they figure their target demographic is a grab-n-go style of customer, so unless you are one of those, be prepared to stand around waiting for a table.

While I don’t normally fancy Jimmy Johnathans, THECLUBTUNAISNOTFORHUMANCONSUMPTION!!! My breath reeked so badly that my girlfriend would not kiss me even after brushing my teeth, using mouthwash, and smoking two cigarettes.(insert kissing ashtray joke) Even my dog refused to come near me because of my stench, and he eats his own shit. Also the nuclear waste-like substance turned my stomach into knots. I’ve been shitting straight tuna milk. My breath still reeked well into the next day. I would not encourage anyone to eat there. ever.

Worse tuna sub ever. The woman Who took my money was rude and surly. I have never been to this lactation, and will never go back. What was it so hard to make a tuna sub? No mayo, no options, no onion, on tomatoes, here is your sub! If I was the owner of this place I would be ashamed

Always the best! I had just been trying to expand my sandwich horizons down the street at Hannah’s Bretzel. But I was still hungry and my pockets were light. Jimmy John’s came to the rescue as always with my fav the Vito. And somehow they manage to crank those delicious sandwiches out so fast! I’m always amazed! And don’t forget the pickle :)

I finally decided to try to Jimmy John’s in my building. No one who works there speaks English. I asked for a tuna melt, the employee looked at me like I had three heads, and after a long explanation from me, she finally responded, «We don’t have no hot sandwiches» and made no attempt to accommodate my request. I just got a cold tuna salad sandwich and it was horribly bland. Never again.

This is a great location. An employee(Alex) went out of her way for my friends & I this weekend when we wanted an order for delivery… & the store that should have delivered to our apartment was already closed. The service was crazy quick… & the employee even followed up w/us by phone to make sure we’d gotten the order.

Standard Jimmy Johns– nothing special on the menu, no complaints about this location– they’re quick as usual, not any more or less crowded than all of the similar restaurants in Chicago…

What is there new to say about a Jimmy Johns? Basically they’ve reached their upper limit, so the only reason to say anything bad about JJs is if there’s something sub par compared to every other JJs in the world. There’s nothing sup par for this one. I am amazed at how fast these guys can throw together a sandwich, though, but that’s there job right? So I guess it’s nothing that impressive. There’s an older lady that works here which is incredibly un-JJs like to me. So that’s cool to see if you come here! Only one set of doors to the outside can make it cold when it’s cold, if you’re eating-in. That’s pretty much it. It’s Jimmy John’s. You get what they advertise and this place follows through.

I get the craziest cravings for Jimmy Johns sometimes. Good thing that there is a location a stones-throw from my work! The staff here are friendly and efficient. VERY efficient. There is some seating, but not much. It’s a bit crowded so I always get my sandwich to-go or grab one of the tables just outside of the entrance door(there are only a couple of tables though). #6 no sprouts easy on the mayo please. And yeah, I want it fast.

I usually eat pretty healthy, but for the last month I decided to relax my healthy eating rules while I adjusted to life back in the workforce. Now that I’m getting used to being a working girl again I decided to pick my healthy habits back up and pack a lunch every day. Last night I packed a perfect lunch in my cute little lunchbox and stashed it in my refrigerator. This morning, I forgot all about it. Fail. Jimmy John’s to the rescue! All JJ’s are pretty much the same, but this was was extra freaky fast and the employees were super smiley and nice. Freaks.

Jimmy Johns’ sandwiches taste exactly like the sandwiches I used to make at home for my work lunch back when I got up more than ten minutes before I needed to leave the house(so, the first week of my first job, then) and had done reasonable food shopping… and, weirdly, this was back in the UK. They’re also just like the sandwiches my mum makes(sandwich-making is genetic, apparently). I think it’s the Hellman’s mayonnaise. As lunches downtown go, they are tasty and good value, and the shops themselves are all pretty nice with a good vibe. Here, they were super humanly fast at preparing the sandwiches. SUPERHUMANLY — I hadn’t even paid and they were ready. Not even congealed McD’s crap made 5 hours prior turns up that quickly. And the super humans were friendly too(how they had time to even say ‘mayonnaise?’ I don’t know). But, I can’t help but only give four stars. They are good sandwiches, but I can’t help thinking the whole time… I could make this… and it would be smaller. but I’m going to eat it all anyway… and I know it’s not good for me… Jimmy Johns: good for mayonnaise, bad for fiscal and calorific guilt.

I was temping nearby today, and was overjoyed I got to visit my favorite Jimmy John’s location for lunch — hell, I haven’t been to this location in about 9 months! I stand by my previous review that this is BYFAR the best Jimmy John’s in the city. The employees are fantastic, my sandwich was ready a nanosecond after I ordered it, said sandwich was the most perfect sandwich in the universe, and the music in this place is phenomenal. It all adds up for the perfect way to re-energize yourself at lunch. I still want to clone this location, because as much as I love Jimmy John’s most of the other locations are the suck. The staff at this place should be showing the others how it’s done. And then Jimmy John’s would take over the world, and I would live happily ever after…

So, I decided to write a review for Jimmy John’s for one reason, and one reason only, THETUNA! Now, if you’re anything like me, you’re quite afraid to purchase/try tuna from any place other than your mom’s kitchen(or your own for that matter). However, on one particular day, when I was in Milwaukee for work, I decided to try, Jimmy John’s Tuna because I am friggin tired of the Turkey Tom with Provolone. So, that tuna in Milwaukee was quite yummy. Just plain ol delicious. So, on another occasion, hungry and still friggin tired of the Turkey Tom with Provolone, I decided to eat this tuna again. Once again, it was yummy. What I enjoy about Jimmy John’s tuna is it’s not too mayonnaise-y. I mean, I really hate the stuff. Have you ever seen the movie, «Undercover Brother»? Well, that’s how I feel about mayonnaise. It’s just yucky. So, instead of mayo with Tuna like others make it(subway), it’s tuna with mayo, and with the cheese, lettuce and tomato, it’s like the mayo isn’t there. Quite lovely. Eat Jimmy John’s Tuna, especially if you’re tired of the Turkey Tom with Provolone!

Decent sandwiches. Nice fluffy bread. Friendly service at this location. But when it comes to the battle of the Chicago sandwich chains I am devoted to Potbelly still. Gotta love the cheeky«Free Smells» signage of Jimmy John’s, but I’m partial to the Italian Night Club sandwich.

Huge fan of JJ’s ever since Subway made me sick *gags* Well living in the burbs and now working downtown I have noticed all types of price differences… I mean come on 6.00 for one sandwich without any mayo or anything on it?! Are you kidding me, I mean in the West they are only 3.99 at the same chain! I swear its not JJ’s that I am faulting but moreso the Loop… Blame the LOOP for those three stars dammit

I’m normally a fan of JJ’s – great bread, fresh ingredients, quick service, particularly at this location. And I love that they have spicy chips. But the extra charge for hot peppers has got to go. Today I paid $ .45 for 3(yes, 3) peppers. that’s 15 cents a pepper! Potbelly’s and Subway add them at no charge – and they both have giardineira, which is a staple for me. I’ll have to ask for them on the side next time – maybe I’ll get more. Will keep you posted.

Probably one of my favorite places to grab a sandwich in the loop! I especially love it when the bread is fresh out of the oven. At times, I think I come for the bread alone(which you can buy for 50 cents). The sandwiches always taste fresh and are made to order. Lively staff who greet you upon entering. Washington is currently under construction, but when it’s not, they have a few tables outside when it’s nice. Prices were raised recently, I think it’s almost $ 5 now for a sandwich. Great tip: for those counting calories and fat(not me!), you can go onto JJ’s website and see how adding or taking away an ingredient will effect the numbers.
