I drove from Milwaukee in search of an engagement ring shortly before the holidays. After looking at quite a few different diamonds and shops on Wabash, I ended up at Fung’s jewelery. I immediately felt comfortable, and did not feel like they were forcing an upgraded diamond or trying to convince me to spend more money. Their price was fair and they even paid for shipping.
I was very pleased with the shopping experience, and even more pleased with ring when it arrived — it is spectacular.
I highly recommend Fungs Jewelry, and will return in the future.

After my wedding, I was looking to add some sizing beads to the inside of my rings — to keep them from spinning around my finger so much. I had been to a few places to get a quote and everything seemed a little too expensive. On a whim, I walked into the Jewelry Mall and went to the first smiling face — it was Karen at Fung’s Jewelry. She was great right away! They took time to analyze the rings on my finger to make sure the sizing beads wouldn’t squeeze too much (no one at any other store even questioned it). Their quote was about 2 or 3 times less than the quotes I received from a number of other stores — and they got it done quicker!
I love my sizing beads and if I need any other repairs, replating, or jewelry in my future I will definitely go back to Fung’s!

Karen and Stan are the greatest. I was very skeptical of purchasing an engagement ring from Jeweler’s row based on my first interaction with another jeweler in the area. Immediately, Karen and Stan were welcoming and not pushy. Stan took the lead and helped guide my decision on what to finally purchase as an engagement ring. I knew what I wanted in my head, and from that, Stan was able to pull different ring parts together to show me what it could look like. They built the ring to my specifications and met a price that I was not even expecting. These people are true professionals and their passion for their work shows when you work with them. I even brought my fiancé (she said yes :)) in to meet Karen afterwards and show Karen the ring on her hand. We needed to get the ring insured and Stan even did a very last minute appraisal that I was able to submit to supplement the insurance policy. I would recommend Fung’s Jewelry for anyone who has not yet found their preferred jeweler in Chicago. They are truly fantastic! Thank you!

Such nice people — they repaired a pair of earrings for me for an *extremely* reasonable price, and then insisted on cleaning the ones I was wearing for free.

I found Fungs through Etsy. They had listed a ring that I thought would be a great wedding band to go with my engagement ring. Karen immediately replied to my questions and invited me in to try the ring on. When my finace and I went in there they were so helpful! Not only did they offer to customize one of their rings for me so that it found fit with my engagement band, but they offer size my ring for me free of charge! The work they did on my wedding band came out AMAZING and the price was also fantastic. They were so helpful and do amazing work. I will be going back to Fung’s any time I need more jewelry!

I found Fungs through their etsy site and checked them out on Unilocal before stopping in. I went in because I really wanted two custom rings. One was very simple and the other was a little more complicated. They were very patient with me on the second ring as I had them recreate the 3d rendering and then requested to change it again after seeing the wax version! In the end, both rings came out beautifully and I would highly recommend working with them on any custom pieces. Ask about paying cash rather than credit… you might be able to save a few.

My fiancé and I went to another jeweler just to «look» and we saw a ring that she loved. But we wanted to see at least one other store. We knew of Jeweler’s Row and thought that would be a good place to start. WOW! are we glad we did. We went into Fung’s Jewelry and were immediately treated like a valued customer. The ring we ended up purchasing was a better quality and costed much less. We chose the ring on Saturday and it was ready on Monday. The quality of the workmanship was outstanding, and we are thrilled with our choice.

My business with Fung’s has been limited to watch repair, but they’ve always been courteous and friendly, and I’ve never had an issue with their work. Definitely recommended.

After walking down Wabash, I ended up purchasing my engagement ring at Fungs Jewelry and don’t regret it at all.
I was working with Stan for months after my first visit, and he was very professional and not pushy. We e-​mailed each other throughout the months and I finally went back in for a second visit.
The second visit was excellent, as Stan made sure we got the best quality diamond and ring and still stayed within my budget that I proposed to him months ago. After getting a final price, we were supposed to go one more place, but I was so impressed with Stan’s service that I decided we have no more looking to do. If it wasn’t for Stan, I probably would not have purchased the ring at that location.

My fiancé and I went there and looked at loose stones and Karen was not pushy at all. We spent two hours looking and contemplating on the right stone and setting. We purchased the stone and later that day, I changed my mind b/​c I was online learning more about diamonds and decided that I wanted something else. She was completely patient with me as I came back in and looked at loose stones again. She even made a few calls and picked up a few more stones to show me that were of high quality and was in my budget. We finally picked out our diamond GIA certified. She then sent out our setting that we picked out to be resized and the diamond out to be set, and it was done the same day! I couldnt believe it! We came back and she had us check the inscribed GIA serial number on our diamond to make sure it was the same one. She really took care of us and I couldnt be more pleased! We also got my wedding band here too. It was MUCH less than the same bands they sell at Jared and other chain stores, and also higher quality.

I bought my wife’s engagement ring and wedding band from Fung’s. They custom made each ring based on some designs that I had seen on-​line. Also, after seaching high and low across stores and the internet they found the diamond (2.75ct round XXX GIA cert) at the price I was looking for… prob saved me $ 2k in the process.
Needless to say, my wife loves her ring and if we ever need to buy diamonds, I’m going to Fung’s first.

My fiancé and I went to Fungs on a recommendation to look at diamonds and settings for an engagement ring. They found us the absolute perfect diamond and had the setting custom made to fit it. My fiancé was specific about what she wanted, and they made it exactly as she desired. In fact, we were shocked at what an incredible job they did making her the exact ring that she wanted. They were incredibly nice to deal with, and have won our business for life. All of the ladies at Fungs are very nice, but Jane was especially wonderful to deal with, and is sweet as can be. I highly recommend Fungs, as they absolutely deliver on their promises.

I purchased my wedding band here and I love it! They have so much to choose from that you can see everything you want to see and make an educated choice. My fiancée was about done with me before we stumbled upon this place. I think we went to 6 jewelers on jewelers row (all referrals, fyi) before I finally felt comfortable talking about what I wanted with Jane at Fung’s Jewelry. They never pushed the sale, she just wanted to make sure I was trying on what I wanted! And, the tiniest things are what can get a girl hung up on what band to choose and Jane sat with me for almost 2 hours helping me try on wedding bands. At the end of the day, the price was right and my ring was ready in 2 weeks! I would recommend anyone to get their ring here!

I received my engagement band at about 4 weeks and it is BEAUTIFUL!!! I love it.
I needed it sized and they added the platinum bars at no extra cost– even though my finger measured the size we ordered.
