Food is awful and tremendously over priced. Eight pieces of bacon and about ½ cup of breakfast potatoes will cost 9.51. And the bacon was inedible.

Great food and amazing staff. They are very friendly and helpful. We came for a routine workup and planned a two day trip and have been here 7. We found out about the cafeteria on day two and have eaten there a lot since. Reasonable prices and very good food.

Nothing here is going to blow your mind, but it’s a cafeteria so you probably already know that. But it’s open 24 hours, which is much appreciated in the area. When I’m burning the midnight oil in the library across the street, I can always come here for any late night snack cravings — pudding, yoghurt, granola bars, sandwiches, salads, and a huge soda selection. And of course they have coffee, which is a must in a hospital.

With the birth of my first child four years ago at Prentiss, I had some fond memories of regaining my composure at the cafeteria. 2014, the cafeteria is the same but seems to be more expensive. You might as well do room service since you’ll get more for the same price.

Prentice’s hospital cafeteria which does not have as wide a selection as Café 251 across the way in Northwestern Memorial. It really isn’t bad at all though. Plus, there is a Starbucks so you don’t have to go to the Feinberg Pavillion for your caffeine fix.

You gave me the only piece and quiet I could search for at 2:30am, and you were decent enough to serve me a very cooked burger. But hey, it was a burger.

When did hospital cafeterias get so overpriced? Bland sandwich, chips and drink hit the $ 8 mark. The cafeteria was lifeless — slow service, unexciting food that’s been sitting out for who knows how long, no lunch rush. Overall ‘bleh’ that I most certainly am not willing to pay $ 8 for again.

i actually eat here a lot. i’m a student at the medical school and i spend a lot of time in the area. the food is good for a hosp cafeteria and it’s open 24⁄7. the downside is that the place is expensive and it doesn’t have many options but overall it’s decent.

Yes, that’s right — a hospital cafeteria. I know what you are thinking — jello and burnt coffee are not the makings of a pleasant dining experience. But there is a new sheriff in town and her name is Joyce Goldstein. When she’s not keeping the law in these parts, she is a cookbook author, food columnist, San Francisco restaurateur, and former chef at Chez Panisse. Joyce and her team are whipping up stuffed pork chops and crisp Waldorf salads, flatbread pizzas and gourmet sandwiches to go. We’re talking baked tilapia filets, people. The menu changes often, as does the selection of yummy side dishes. And you can watch your meal being made right in front of your very eyes. This is one smart sheriff. Nutritional information is posted for each delectable delight, prices are affordable, and the tranquil dining area overlooks Seneca Park and the MCA. The scenery is also conducive to watching young doctors in their natural habitats. Yeow!

Wide selection of nicer cafeteria food. This place is definitely a little nicer compared to NMH’s other cafeteria in Feinberg. But, it’s also a little more expensive. A typical lunch can easily hit the $ 10 mark. As a side note, their burritos stink. It costs like $ 7 and it is pretty terrible. Go to Chipotle if you want a burrito.

Utterly great cafeteria in the Prentice Women’s Hospital. Went here for lunch today — had a Mexican salad that was really tasty — though the tortilla bowl(I always seem to hate bowls made of bread products) was like cardboard, tasteless. A good option in a sea of pricey lunch places — they had some nice options at the«station» type serving area. However the menus on the video screens? Rife with misspellings!!! People! Proof your work! LADIES: great place to scope out oh-my-gawd-HAWT young doctor types. But they’re all busy, busy, busy and don’t hang out at the tables for long. At any rate, great scenery.

Fresh Market is the cafeteria on the second floor of the new Prentice Women’s Hospital. It’s open 24 hours. The made-to-order salads, burgers, and omelets are ridiculously great! The mini-Starbucks helps with late-night studying sessions. –1 star for the sketchy grab-n-go items, which, according to my digestive system, have been out too long.
